Stan Hansen & Terry Funk VS Abdullah The Butcher & Kevin Sullivan is a disappointment and we have probably the worst battle royal I will ever see in my life. Joey Styles also makes his debut here, by the way."

I like the main events and Terry and Stan Hansen match , and I like how the show is diversity , its not bad but theres a bad match unfortunately but the others was mediocre, to satisfactory and to even good ( im talking about the other matches in the show ) ."

This show was filled with tons of brawling and blood. There were jobbers getting color in an opening squash match for crying out loud."

Super Destroyer 1 defeats Super Destroyer 2 in a slow and boring match. JT Smith saves the day and immediately enters a scaffold match against The Dark Patriot in a match that was slightly better than I was expecting it to be. Some risky drop kicks on the scaffolding. Stan Hansen and Terry Funk face Abdullah the Butcher and Kevin Sullivan in a chaotic Texas Tornado Bunkhouse match that ends in a DQ due to outside interference which feels super lame to finish a Bunkhouse match. Sherri, Tigra, Angel, Don E Allen, and Jay Sulli participate in a Mixed Gender Battle Royale, which ends with Tigra as the winner - this was really bad. Sal Bellomo faces Sir Richard Michaels in a loser gets 10 lashes match which goes too long. Shane Douglas defends his title against The Sandman in an average match. The Headhunters finally secure a clean victory in the bloodbath Main Event that is a romp around the ECW Arena, a preview of things to come. Uneven quality across the card, but things are starting to come together ..."

You can see the prototypical beginnings of what Paul Heyman was trying to do with ECW, and as the calibre of the roster improved through 94 and 95 the general quality of the wrestling on the shows improved as well. It's a breezy watch for the most part, but it's better to skip ahead to the Spring of 1994 if you're new to ECW and fancy a jumping on point. The anarchic and "punk rock" feel was here at Ultra Clash, but the quality of wrestler wasn't there to really let it excel as a product yet"

The scaffold match and the main event were definitely the highlights of the show. Good to see the debuts of the Public Enemy, Jason and Ian Rotten too. Crazy seeing Crash the Terminator (Bill DeMott) pop up in the main event. You can see this is the show that planted the seeds for what ECW eventually became. For full analysis, check out the Extreme Timeline podcast available everywhere."

[1.0] "I consider Ultra Clash one of the worst events in the history of Wrestling. The Wrestling quality is terrible, the ideas are flat. There are some big names but there isn' a single watchable match except for the short opener with the Public Enemy. The Super Destroyer 1 vs 2 match is really horrible, and many matches are like that. Also, the Scaffold match is one of the worst of all time. Even Douglas vs Sandman is disappointing. Absolutely not recommended."
