[7.0] "Decent show overall - all three hell in a cell matches were great particularly the bayley sasha match - everything else in this show is not great however so does knock it down a bit - probably one of the best Lockdown era PPVs though"

[9.0] "One of WWEs best Pandemic Era offerings on PPV. I pretty much ignored the filler matches but all of the Hell in a Cell matches were great."

[8.0] "If it were only HIAC matches, this would be a much higher ratings as they all were hard. Reigns vs Uso was incredible, making Jey look incredibly defeated emotionally and personally as Reigns solidifies himself as the best heel in the business. Banks vs Bayley had no business being that good, two incredibly talented women giving it all they have. I was glad to see they ended the feud here, as I'm excited to see where Banks goes next with the belt in hand and Bayley behind her. Orton vs McIntre wasn't the banger that we had at Summerslam, but was still really really good, McIntyre going through hell and back before Orton hit him with an RKO and stole the title, spicing up the feud and making both men look strong and even more determined to hold the belt. As for the non-hiac matches I honestly can't even remember what happened within them lol"

[6.0] "The three Cell matches are the most notable parts of this show. Reigns vs. Jey was a match that probably won't be for everyone, but for what it may have lacked in action, it made up for with strong storytelling and melodrama. Reigns is excellent in his current role. It may not have really needed to have been in a cage, though, for what the match itself was trying to accomplish. McIntyre vs. Orton was fine, though in retrospect I don't quite get Orton winning just to drop the belt back to McIntyre shortly thereafter (other than to bump Orton's title count up). Banks vs. Bayley was easily the match of the night. Elsewhere, Elias vs. Hardy, considering the way it ended, seemed better suited for Raw; Miz vs. Otis was serviceable but mainly existed to get the MITB contract off Otis (I don't expect Miz to successfully cash it in either), and Lashley vs. Slapjack was pure filler."

[6.0] "The three hell in a cell match were good but the rest of the card was filler and not particularly good. Also am not a fan of Otis loosing the Briefcase. Sasha Banks Vs Bayley was great and one of the best match I saw contested inside Hell In A Cell."

[7.0] "A solid PPV despite having a small amount of matches. Jey Uso vs Roman Reigns is great in terms of storytelling while the in-ring action was slow in a few places. (***1/2) Elias vs Jeff Hardy was boring and felt like a match you would see on Raw. Plus, the ending was out of nowhere. (*1/2) Otis vs The Miz was average and the heel turn from Tucker was a nice swerve but I feel bad for Otis at this point. (**) Bayley vs Sasha Banks was a great match and showed how intense their feud is. Let's hope Sasha has a successful title run. (****) Bobby Lashley vs Slapjack was awful as it had some botches. (*) Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton was great and a good way to end Drew McIntyre's incredible reign as WWE Champion. Hopefully when crowds return, Drew can have another reign. (****) Overall, a decent PPV with the cell matches being great while the filler matches were bad."

[5.0] "I enjoyed the show as a whole. Roman is the real deal, but the theatrics in that match drug it down a few notches, in my opinion. The rest of the night was so-so, Orton and McIntyre was good. But match of the night was a mile above whatever second place was, and that's Sasha-Bayley. Loved the story they told, never felt like it dragged on, just the right amount of emotion.. great stuff. Middle of the road PPV, overall."

[5.0] "Pretty average PPV. The opener was just too long, and even though Roman looks great as a champion I wish he would just wrestle more and tone down on the acting performance. Elias vs Hardy was a waste of time. Otis vs Miz was fun with a nice turn of events. Then, Sasha & Bayley had a very good match (****) with some good wrestling, easily my MOTN. Lashley vs Slapjack was also a waste of time, Retribution looks like an utter joke. I found the main event rather weak as most of the match was just violence, hatred and not much else."

[7.0] "A ppv that is great thanks to the three HIAC matches. Aside of that some interesting stuff in other stories even if they occurred with bad bout (Miz/Otis) but even the low points of the show disappear in front just of the opener..."

[7.0] "We've been waiting for a good PPV, here it is. The first two HIAC matches are great, especially the Banks-Bayley. / MOTD : Sasha Banks vs Bayley"

[7.0] "After a long time finally, WWE delivered us a pretty entertaining pay per view. Even though the main event was kinda boring and slow thanks to randy Orton , the other two hell in a cell match were so exciting. Sasha vs Bayley was the match of the night 9/10 for me and they should have added more matches in the card and what about the tag team division and the raw women's championship? Whatever miz winning the briefcase makes no sense it will only make sense if john morrison is going to win it from miz ."

[7.0] "All of the cell matches were great, but everything else fell flat. Partially because they followed a very emotional opener. MOTN was definitely Sasha vs Bayley, a great way to end Bayley's reign, and the match lived up to the hype. Orton vs. McIntyre was good. Roman vs. Jey was the weakest out of the three cell matches, though it had great storytelling and emotional moments. Paul Heyman's reactions add a ton to this match, and the crowning of Roman as the tribal chief was a really cool touch. Miz vs. Otis was nothing special, though I'm happy Miz has the briefcase instead of Otis. I was surprised to see Tucker turn on him, though. Elias vs. Hardy was pretty much a break from Roman vs Jey. SLAPJACK vs Lashley was unnecessary, and I'm not sure how we are supposed to take RETRIBUTION seriously anymore if they just job to the Fiend and the Hurt Business. (***1/2)"

[5.0] "Biased or unbiased this only hit the halfway point for me. Roman is clearly a top guy but Jey Uso still doesn't execute it, to me. Not enough wrestling happened and Jimmy needs to stay away too, he doesn't add anything apart from being Jey's brother, plus both brothers are dreadful actors. Sasha and Bayley rightfully put on a brawl that will be considered a classic for the women, and Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre ended the show in an aggressive and intense way. Much of nothing happening in-between but I give it up for Tucker... that definitely was the most shocking moment of the night. Reigns/Uso (5. 5) Elias/Hardy (4) Miz/Otis (4) Banks/Bayley (8. 5) Lashley/Slapjack (2. 5) Orton/McIntyre (6. 5)"

[8.0] "The three HIAC matches delivered, especially Sasha vs Bayley which is a clear MOTN and which should've been the main event. On the other hand, the midcard matches were clearly below average. I prefer this situation to the 2019 average WWE pay per view with a pretty good midcard but no match worthy of main event, of course like everyone I would prefer shows great from start to finish like most NXT TakeOvers, but still better in this way than the other."

[5.0] "This show to me was mixed. I feel as though the matches of the night were defiantly Roman Vs. Jey and Sasha Vs. Bayley. I have loved everything out of this entire feud so far with Roman and Jey. The storytelling has been unbelievable, and kudos to WWE for making such an entertaining storyline to keep everybody on the edge of their seats. It was an awesome touch to have The Wild Samoans come out to Congratulate Roman and shun Jimmy and Jey. Roman's new character has been awesome, and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next! Bayley Vs. Sasha was another incredible match! I've loved everything about this feud between them, and it's so hard to boo Sasha in this match with the way WWE has built Bayley to be an awesome heel. Everything about their match tonight felt personal and fast paced, and the finish that led to Sasha winning was so AWESOME! The Orton/McIntyre Hell In A Cell Match was also really good, but I felt like it was slow in certain areas. Nevertheless, it's still a really amazing match which led to Orton becoming a 14-Time Champ in this amazing push he's had since he faced Edge. The match between Elias and Hardy really didn't interest me at all. I get that they had this match for Elias to get the win to start off his big push, but I could not get interested/invested into this match, and the finish I did not agree with. Given the type of star Hardy is and the theme of the PPV, this match should have been a NoDQ or something. Great win for Elias for his push, but not a great and easily forgettable match. Did not enjoy Miz Vs. Otis at all. I've never been a fan of someone who wins the Money In The Bank Briefcase, and their push with it ends when the worker who won it loses their cash in, or the briefcase in a match for it. Didn't like it back then with Sandow losing to Cena, don't like it today with Otis losing. I didn't enjoy the heel turn from Tucker. I think they should have just had both guys continue on their separate ways, and do more with Tucker instead of having him in the corner of Otis, but it does make sense because now they can do things with Tucker as a singles guy starting off with this feud including Otis. I get why they did the heel turn from a business and attention draw standpoint, but from a fan standpoint, I didn't enjoy it. Hopefully Otis can get the Briefcase back sometime soon because I would love to see him become world champ. Bobby Lashley Vs. Slapjack was forgettable and too short. Even though there were terrible, forgetful filler matches (with the exception of the Tucker heel turn), this show had a solid WWE Title match and two matches I feel are Match of the Year Candidates."

[9.0] "Three great Hell In A Cell matches, really varied one compared to the others. I would rank them ****, ****1/4 and **** in the order in which they happened. The rest of the matches were filler between the cells, but at least they weren't long. Hardy vs Elias was ok although the DQ finish hurted it a bit (**1/2). Miz vs Otis was a standard match with an interesting finish (**1/2). The US title defense lacked a good story, but at least it had some good wrestling for the four minutes that it lasted (*1/2). So the filler matches weren't really terrible and neither the focus of the night. The HIAC matches delivered really, really well. Compared to previous PPV from this era, I'd say that a 9 is ok for this one."

[8.0] "This was a pretty good show and went by quickly (glad the 4 hr ppvs isn't a thing anymore). All 3 Cell matches felt different and the other matches didn't overstay their welcome and Miz as Mr. MITB was a surprise choice."

[5.0] "Haven't watched a wwe show in a while but i've always loved hell in a cell and came back to give this a shot, and oh boy Hell in a cell is just so watered down now i'm wondering what is the point of having it anymore, WWE doesnt do extreme anymore so these matches just felt really long, overly drawn out and surrounded by a cage for no real reason. I miss when Rikishi fell of the roof into a truck or even more recently when shane does a diving elbow from the top, today's cells are just there for decoration and it sucks. Bayley and Sasha is the only really good wrestling match and is easily MOTN. Randy and McIntyre is pasable, Jey and Roman is boring and the other 3 matches are just there to between the cell matches, all 3 are basically duds."

[7.0] "Very well done show. Roman/Jey was another masterclass in storytelling, although it wasn't heavy on action. It deserves something in the ****/**** 1/4 range. Sasha/Bayley was a great match full of brutal spots and, again, great storytelling. I don't want to overrate it, but a ****1/4 for that one works too. Now, let's address the rest of the show. Elias/Hardy and Miz/Otis were quality pallet cleansers after that main show opener, and were inoffensive. The turn in the briefcase match was polarizing but I don't mind the result. Both matches get a **1/2. The US title match was filler and I didn't care for it. If anything, they could've made it a competitive 10-minute match and shave some time off that main event. Drew/Orton was meh. I enjoyed this feud through Summerslam, but it's cooled off considerably since then. There was no reason to drag this feud out, and this match felt every bit as long as it was. Why this was the main event is beyond me. Bad choice. It was a *** or ***1/4 match, but when a match is this long, it needs to be better. Overall, this was a 7 or 7. 5/10. The first two HIAC matches were great, the rest was fine. The main event was way too long for what it was. Not a perfect show, not a great show, but a good show with two truly great matches."

[9.0] "WWE's best PPV of 2020. And one of the best shows of the world in 2020. All of Hell in a Cell matches were incredible. A great plot twist in The Miz vs. Otis match, and man... finally the contract doesn't belong to Otis. The other matches' qualities was not that awesome but the three big matches were so great that I don't care they were good or bad. I'm glad that I have been a witness to such a show."

[8.0] "Very hot card with 3 matches that mostly vanished the impact of the (bad) filler matches. Sasha vs Bayley was absolutely my MOTN, incredible work from both of them, but Roman vs Jey it can't be discounted how much great story work they put in."

[7.0] "Huge upgrade over COC. very good PPV with two great matches. Jey Vs Roman was solid. Looking forward to what's next for Roman. Elias Vs Hardy was alright with a bad finish. Miz Vs Otis was pretty bad but had an interesting end. Sasha Vs Bayley was excellent and everything I hoped for. Hope Sasha gets the good reign she deserves. Bobby Vs Slapjack sucked and there isn't much to say there. Drew Vs Orton was excellent. Great storytelling and great callbacks. Orton has been a key highlight of WWEs 2020 so I am fine with his win. Good stuff. 7/10 PPV."
