[5.0] "A welcome return to my personal favourite type of wrestling. Not a strong card, but it didn't have to be. It was just a joy to see NJPW back in the saddle. [Gabriel Kidd vs Yota Tsuji] - 2 3/4 stars. [Tomohiro Ishii & Yuya Uemura vs Suzukigun] - 2 3/4 stars. [CHAOS vs Bullet Club] - 2 1/4 stars (Worst of the Night). [Taguchi & TenKoji vs LiJ] - 3 stars. [Tanahashi, Ibushi, Makabe & Nagata vs Suzuki-Gun] - 2 1/2 stars. [Okada & Roppongi 3K vs LiJ] - 3 stars (Match of the Night). Average Match rating: 2. 71 of 5 (or 5. 42 of 10). rounded to 5 for Cagematch."

[5.0] "Unexceptional and nothing-happening show that was still mildly entertaining, even if simply for the novelty of NJPW actually putting-forth a show."

[6.0] "This show was good enough, but aside from the main even there was really nothing all too special other than the fact that it's NJPW's return. Tsuji vs Kidd was one of the better young lion matches I've seen and was pretty good: ***1/4-. Suzuki-gun vs Ishii & Uemura was alright and Ishii was head and shoulders above everyone else in the match: **3/4. BC vs CHAOS & Honma dragged, it wasn't terrible but definitely wasn't better than okay: **1/4-. LIJ vs Taguchi & TenKoji was fun and definitely got me more excited for Taguchi vs SANADA: ***1/4+. Suzuki-gun vs Tana, Ibushi, Nagata, & Makabe was fun, some solid work in the ring and Suzuki-gun managed to keep their usual BS little enough that it didn't ruin the match: ***1/4. LIJ vs Okada & RPG 3K was easily MOTN, some great in ring work from everyone involved despite some stumbles from YOH and could've perhaps hit the 4* level if it went a bit longer: ***1/2+."

[6.0] "Shin Nihon is back in town, and that's the only exciting thing about this show. Decent matches with some previews for the New Japan Cup. Also, one thing that stood out for me was that i didn't feel the lack of a crowd as much here as i did in the US shows. Maybe i got used to it, maybe it "fits" better with the japanese atmosphere. Anyway, decent skippable show with the only exciting thing being the Grand Master teaser that you can watch on youtube."
