[8.0] "I enjoyed the show even though it may be the weakest AEW PPV they've done but that says more about the general quality of AEW PPV that this very good show is lesser than normal. Two matches were bad and the eight man tag was unnecessary but any show that has four matches the quality of Bucks vs Jurassic Express, FTR vs Hangman and Kenny, Jericho vs Orange and Mox vs MJF is automatically a quality PPV."

[2.0] "Very much the first and one of the few Pay per views in AEW history that I found to be bad. There are highs here no doubt about it. The world title and tag matches, are worth watching but everything else was a 5 at best. Jericho vs Orange, and the battle royal were poor matches but they weren't even close to being on the same level as bad as the opener, and Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guevara. Just a very low point in the company's history. There's a reason why it's by a good margin, the lowest rated AEW match on cagematch. It could have seriously hurt the company's momentum permanently and it'd be hard to come back from it. So if this was any other show it'd give it a 4, but regarding the circumstances with Matt Hardy I'm taking off 2 points."

But the first half is honestly a bit of a disaster with a couple of absolute stinkers. Overall, it's a fine enough show, but by AEW's standards, it feels like a major miss."

[3.0] "AEWs worst show, the Thunder Rosa/Shida match was very good, the tag match and main event was pretty good but it's a lot of bad with some awful with 3 absolutely dreadful matches in the opener, the mimosa mayhem and the Hardy/Guevara match which is best not thought about."

[6.0] "There's some fantastic stuff to be had here like Bucks Vs Jurassic Express and all the title matches, but this show is home to some of AEW's worst moments like the tooth and nail match, the way to messy and violent casino battle royale, the infamous Matt Hardy concussion incident and the stupid mimosa mayhem match. Overall despite it's few shines of light AEW All Out (2020) is one of the weakest and most tonally inconsistent AEW PPVs."

[3.0] "Outside of the main event (which was thankfully excellent), a truly awful card full of the weakest stuff I've seen from AEW yet. Only two matches here were worth anything, and even those went on for too long. The opener and the Matt Hardy match in particular are genuinely embarassing."

"This show was so bad it made one of my friends quit wrestling altogether. I didn't hate it as much as he did, but there was no saving what was already a mediocre show after the Hardy/Guevara match. How was that not pre-taped (with a crash pad) but the brutal-to-watch Tooth and Nail match was?"

[5.0] "This is where the infamous Matt Hardy accident happend that ruined the whole show just for the choice to continue the match despite Hardy's concussion but a couple of matches saved the show from being a total disaster. Baker vs.Swole was embarassing, terrible production and action. Jurassic Express vs. Young Bucks was the best match of the night. The battle royale was bad. Hardy vs. Guevara is one the darkest pages in the history of the company so far. Rosa vs. Shida was good and Ftr vs. Omega & Page was really good and both matches helped the show to a little bit more enjoyable. The eight man tag match wasn't anything special. Cassidy vs. Jericho was satisfactory. Moxley vs. Mjf was very good and it was a nice way to end such a bad night. Overall: the show is hurt by Hardy's accident and Tooth and Nail drags everything down as well but there were some nice mathces so I cant't be too harsh. Still on of Aew's worst Pay-Per-Piews ever."

[2.0] "Is this the worst AEW show? 2 points for Mox vs MJF and Shida vs Rosa everything else was pretty bad. we start things with the worst cinematic match ever. Young Bucks vs Jurassic Express was decent but not PPV worthy. then we have a Battle Royal I HATE BATTLE ROYALS. After that we have infamous Broken rules match it's hard to watch. Shida vs Rosa was pretty good I enjoyed this one. 8 man tag was boring and wasn't intersting. FTR vs Hangman and Kenny was a dissapointing match to end their title run too long for what it was. then we have goofy ass Mimosa match I hate everything about this one. main event was solid with good showing from rising star MJF"

[4.0] "The show started off fine, but after the Matt Hardy disaster, you could feel the entire tone of the show just shift. No one cared about the rest of the card, for the rest of the show everyone was on their phones either checking for updates on Matt's condition or slamming the company for letting that match continue. I feel so bad for everyone who had to go out there to work their matches, knowing that no one would be talking about them the day after."

[3.0] "This PPV is AEWs worst PPV. The Tooth and Nail Match misunderstood all the benefits of what pre-recorded videos work. There was no rhythm to the cuts or anything, and while it was done to finish the feud between Swole and Baker while Baker was injured, it helped neither. While this PPV has one of my favourite matches (FTR vs. Omega/Page) and the last three matches on the card are well done, the combination of botches makes it a hard rewatch, especially Hardy's injury."

[5.0] "Some truly horrendous stuff brings down an otherwise pretty good show. Obviously the Tooth & Nail match and Guevara vs. Hardy are complete disasters on an almost mythic scale and unfortunately set a bad tone early. That said, in hindsight, it's much easier to appreciate that this show did have 4 bangers on it. Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express, Shida vs. Rosa, FTR vs. Page & Omega, and Moxley vs. MJF were all too good to rate this lower than a 5, but this still stands as AEW's worst PPV to date. There's something to be said for this being as bad as it gets though."

[6.0] "This PPV has a sour memory among wrestling fans for the two horrendous matches AEW has ever done with Hardy vs Guevara getting a huge negative shade still because of the continuation inspite of Hardy's concussion. The Tooth & Nail match was a really bad cinematic bout that had decent at its best action with awful acting and presentation. The buy-in matches were a mixed bag with a glorified Dark main event and a good tag match. Young Bucks vs Jurassic Express was highly energetic and different from the usual Bucks matches while the eight man tag was fun and enjoyable. The casino battle royal was good too with a embarrassing debut for Matt Sydal and a right winner in Lance Archer. The tag titles match was great for the first 18-20 minutes but it went bland and lacked intensity it had before because of the exhaustion. The women's match is my MOTN as both had a fantastic physical bout with the main event becoming a close second as it turned out to be a psychological barnburner. Should've been a solid PPV but those two DUDs and the creative team's negligence in a wrestler's safety hindered this event more than they expected. 6.5 out of 10 points!"

[3.0] "God, This show was Bad. The opener was the 2nd worst PPV match AEW has put on, yet is nowhere near the worst match. The Young Bucks always put on decent matches, and the one they had vs Jurassic Express was no different, but there have been better matches between the teams. The battle royale was a bit sloppy, with it having some bad botches, but it was so much better than the Hardy vs Guevara match. By far AEW's worst booking decision was letting Hardy compete after he got that concussion. The Women's match was good, but it couldn't be great due to the previous match. The 8 man tag match felt completely pointless, and shouldn't have been on PPV. No one came out of it looking better and the wrong team won too. The World Tag match was MOTN once again though wasn't as great as previous or future bouts for the belt. The OC Jerico match was average with a memorable finish, and the main event was a servicable match with a finish that didn't fuck up MJF. Overall, there were a few good matches (though nothing special), but was soured by 2 awful matches."

[4.0] "Wow oh wow. Worst AEW PPV ever on the real man. I don't wanna be a hater but seriously, the opener stank. They did another stupid battle royal, and it stank. Matt Sydal nearly busted his skull on his debut, and that stank. Matt Hardy actually busted his head on concrete, and AEW officials allowed him to climb a lift afterwards and continue wrestling Sammy "I like doing high spots and jumping off shit" Guevara. Stinks. Matt's injury was so bad that it took an okay match between Thunder Rosa and Shida and ruined it completely. They took the TNT champion Brodie Lee, who could have had an awesome match for the TNT title to really establish his reign and stuck him in an 8man tag with perennial tag team chumps the natural Nightmares and Matt Cardona (') Orange Cassidy and Jericho decided to stink the place up yet again with the worst of their three matches along with a pool of orange mimosa. On the bright (if you can call it that) side, FTR, Hangman and Kenny had a pretty good tag match that, while it may not have lived up to the lofty standards set by the Revolution match, still delivered as MOTN by far. In second came the main event between MJF and Moxley which, while not a classic, delivered as a good main event and a proving moment for a still at this point unproven MJF. All in all, this show stinks. Check out the tag match definitely. You can check out the main too if you're starving for matches, but you'd have to have watched a whole lot of matches before I recommend this one to you. Thumbs down"

[2.0] "The worst thing AEW has produced imo, definitely their lowest point in a time where the product was feeling very stale and creatively bankrupt. The big matches were underwhelming, way too long thanks to many pointless filler matches, bad comedy, filled with botches and overall just poor wrestling. There's also the Hardy moment....."

[5.0] "The title matches were good but other than that there was nothing on this show that was worthy of being on PPV. The Matt Hardy incident was obviously disgusting too."

[2.0] "You can usually count on AEW's PPV's to be at least decent. This was atrocious. Tooth and Nail match was a terrible way to start the show, cinematic matches were fun in April, but are embarrassing after that. The Battle Royale was a typical messy AEW Battle Royale match with weird pacing and an overall sloppy feel. Natural Nightmares match did not need to be on here. Jericho did anything but put Cassidy over in this weird gimmicked match where all Cassidy did was make Jericho fall over into a pool which I guess is meant to be funny because haha Jericho likes Mimosa and also Orange do you get it haha. Buck and Jurassic Express was fine but, again, did not need to be on this overly long PPV. Tag Team Championship match should have been better and unfortunately is yet another classic AEW predictable title change. Same could be said about the main event, I think MJF should have won to spice things up a bit and really solidify him as AEW's next top guy, but I can understand why as I think he butchered this fued with his unfunny build to this match. Hardy match was obviously disgusting and made worse by AEW promoting Dynamite with a 'Matt Hardy speaks' segment. Overall this PPV is one of the worst I've ever seen. Shida vs Rosa was great, however, a brilliant showcase to both talents and the best match on the card."

[0.0] "AEW's ppv's have all been great but this was absolutely attrocious. The Tooth and Nail match to start was appauling, Young Bucks and Jurrasic Express was good. I normally critisice The Bucks for having spot-fests but this was good to inject some energy into the crowd. Battle royale was meh and the Sydal incident was sad. Hardy and Guevara was good at the start but the Hardy fall was very scary and the fact that the match continued was a disgrace. It will definitely be a moment that will forever be remembered with AEW. Women's title match was ok, 8 man tag was an uneccesary waste of time, The tag title match was FAR too long for this point in the show, Jericho and Cassidy was ok but hard to enjoy when you consider where it was in the show and the main event was fine. Overall, a near 4 hour slog that is an absolute chore to watch with terrible matches. Avoid"

[1.0] "I only enjoyed one match, aka the main event. But my god, what a cursed event. From Sydal's botch, to Hardy, to how dead the crowd was for the tag title match, this is definitely up there as one of the worst PPV's of the year."

[3.0] "This show was cursed, but botches and concussions aside it just wasn't meant to be great. Some of the stuff here was terrible and I gladly skipped that tooth and nail match. Some of it was decent to good but kinda disappointing, I had high hopes for the women's match and the FTR match and both didn't deliver as I expected. Mox is still champion and MJF is not and that's sad. Overall a very mediocre show that didn't need to go almost 4 hours."

[3.0] "Bad PPV, and the worst AEW PPV in history. Also the second worst wrestling PPV of 2020 after Super Showdown. Really long, with pointless matches, matches ruined by booking decisions, a small and dead crowd and the Matt Hardy debacle. My highest rated match was the main event at ***1/2."

[4.0] "This show started with one of the worst opening matches you'll ever see and never truly regained its footing thereafter. Jurassic Express vs The Young Bucks could have opened the show with a much better tone. This show and all of its big matches just felt so long, which wasn't helped by the very quiet crowd who sounded even more quiet than the usual wrestler audience we've had recently. Hardy vs Guevara will forever be a black mark on the company. Most matches on this PPV I would describe as "Not a bad match but it felt way longer than it was. " A card full of matches like that make an event difficult to sit through, which this was. Also, the lack of set-design to set this apart from Dynamite made this feel like an extended episode of Dynamite with less momentum and almost no crowd noise. Probably AEW's worst PPV so far, which isn't a good sign if, like me, you're startng to feel like the company may have jumped the shark with the sports entertainment nonsense the never-ending Jericho vs Cassidy feud (among other things) has subjected us to. I can enjoy some of that stuff but never to the point where I'd rally for a Britt Baker match to appear on PPV."

[8.0] "People have their judgment clouded by the Hardy accident, and rightfully so. But doing that, you take away a lot from the performers in the second half of the show. I really enjoyed the last three matches, plus Shida/Rosa, Bucks/Jurassic. All great stuff, that got overshadowed by the incident. AEW will learn from this and move on. Moxley/MJF was a great match, as the tag title bout. People expected the match at Revolution, but that's a whole different style. The Hardy incident left a bad taste in everybody's mouth for the remainder of the show."

[7.0] "It was a good show but decent by AEW standards . I just wish that we could erase Britt/Swole , Sammy/Matt and Matt Sydal's botch and this event could have been rated much higher. Also if that 8 man tag match was shifted probably as the event opener because it was decent enough. Not something I would watch in this high on the card. The battle royal as a whole was satisfactory. Shida/Rosa and OC/Jericho were good matches. FTR/Omega and Page and JE/Bucks were great tag team matches. The main event was the MOTN because I loved it, This event established MJF and Orange as main event stars which is a strong positive. This event as a whole was below expectations but some matches are worth watching for sure. I believe the event is getting too much criticism then it should be getting."

[9.0] "Rating this show as a whole, I thought it was very good. Yes, the Sydal botch was bad, yes the Matt Hardy stuff was concerning, but the matches that took place on the card all ranged from very fun to incredible. Thunder Rosa vs Shida was an almost time limit classic, and one of the best womens matches this year in any promotion, FTR vs Omega/Page told an amazing story with great in ring, and Mox vs MJF was also a beautifully put together match. Silver/Reynolds wowed on the pre show, and Bucks/JE put on a great match. Even the 8 man tag, was by the standards of 8 man tags, very good and over delivered. It's sad this PPV has a cloud of Matt Hardy hanging over it, because it was great otherwise."

[8.0] "Although I understand Hardy's bump was completely unecessary, I don't think it should overshadow the rest. It hasn't for me anyway, maybe because I dumbly wasn't sure if it was a work in the moment. So All Out for me was a great combination of exciting wrestling, compelling storylines and loads of fun (yes I enjoyed the Tooth and Nail! ). The 3h30+ flew by! I watched it with a very casual watcher and she loved it! You can't really ask for more if it pleased a casual and a smark"

[5.0] "A mixed-bag show and arguably AEW's first real PPV misfire. There were at least three great matches in Page/Omega vs. FTR, Shida vs. Rosa and Bucks vs. Jurassic Express as well as a solid main in Moxley vs. MJF. I also enjoyed the eight-man tag and its aftereffects (continuing the Cabana story and giving Dustin a title shot against Lee), and the battle royal was mostly fun despite Sydal's embarrassing (though fortunately not injurious) debut. But there was also the bad - a very weak location brawl between Swole and Baker that certainly shouldn't have been the opener (and arguably shouldn't have been on the main show at all), Jericho vs. Cassidy was surprisingly plodding in action and should've been half its length (they'll get good mileage out of the ending visual though); the aforementioned Sydal debut botch, and, most notably, the gross mishandling of the injury to Matt Hardy - Aubrey Edwards made the right call in stopping the match; but whatever medical staff cleared Hardy in the minute he was offscreen and whoever made the call to restart the match and allow Hardy to climb the scaffold just to get the "right finish" should be fired. Not getting the "right finish" due to a severe injury to a performer can be booked around later. I'd have gone with a 6/10, but the Hardy incident left such a bad taste over the rest of the event that I have to dock it the extra point. I do recommend at least the Tag Title match, which was my pick for MOTN. Hopefully AEW will bounce back with Full Gear."

[8.0] "Possibly the best AEW PPV this year. All matches (except of broken rules match) were at least satisfying."

[9.0] "A knee jerk reaction from most of the rators here. The show was excellent. All the marquee matches delivered. Wrestling wise, I would consider it even better than DoN 2. The Hardy injury scare and Matt Sydal botch were probably the only bad parts, the rest of the show bounced between good and excellent."

[9.0] "I suppose I can only consider my own reaction, it's a bit like I watched a different show than others did but ah well. The only moments that bothered me where Sydal slipping up (poor guy, horrible timing for that botch) and the whole Matt Hardy match restart thing. Other than that I honestly enjoyed the whole show, all the other matches were fun or engaging in some way to me. None quite hit MOTY contender level but some were close, I had a good time with this show."

[5.0] "I honestly can't believe this was the first AEW PPV I paid money to stream live. Two Worst of the Year contenders from any promotion, and the best match had not much prior build. [Casino Battle Royale] - 2 1/2 stars. [Matt Hardy/Sammy] - 1/2 of a star. [Hikaru Shida vs Thunder Rosa] - 3 1/2 stars. [8 man tag] - 2 1/2 stars. [FTR vs Hangman/Omega] - 2 1/4 stars. [Jericho vs Orange Cassidy] - 3 stars. [Jon Moxley vs MJF] - 3 3/4 stars. Average Match rating: 2. 47 of 5 stars (or 4. 94 of 10). rounded to 5 for Cagematch."

[5.0] "I love AEW. I've been a huge AEW apologist since they started but this show just wasn't it. I did enjoy the main event w/ Mox and MJF and the Mimosa Mayhem match was fun but everything else fell kinda flat. I also think they did get unlucky in some places, such as Matt Sydal's debut and Matt Hardy almost actually dying to death. No show is gonna be perfect and some are going to be worse than others, so here's hoping Full Gear in November stands a bit taller."

[5.0] "All Elite Wreslting's ALL OUT 2020 was a disappointing, scary, and overbooked show. Big Swole vs Britt Baker did not need to be on the main card no matter what anyone has to say, it was terrible, and I have nothing against female wrestlers but these two are not ready for an ALL Out main card match, let alone start off the show, and it doesn't matter about "more representation of women" because, THE WOMENS DIVISION IN AEW SUCKS SO MUCH THAT THEY HAD TO HAVE AN OUTSIDER COMPETE FOR THEIR MAIN CHAMPIONSHIP ON THEIR BIGGEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR, THE REST OF THE DIVISION ISN'T EVEN HALF AS GOOD COMBINED COMPARED TO SHIDA AND ROSA. The Young Bucks vs Jurassic Express should have been the opening, good wrestling and plus it got Jurassic Express over once again. The 21 man casino battle royal was overbooked and they almost killed Darby Allin and Matt Sydal, AEW NEEDS TO STOP WITH THESE DEATH DEFYING SPOTS BEFORE THEY KILL SOMEONE (but I'll get to that in a bit. ) Lance Archer winning was good for him since he needed it the most, but I can't be the only one who had seen this and automatically knew who was gonna win the main event. Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guevara was scary, I don't care if Matt was cleared or not, I don't care if Matt wanted to continue or not, Matt shouldn't have continued that match, and he needs to consider retirement after this before it gets serious. And I don't blame Sammy Guevara but he and Matt need to get away from each other before somebody dies. Hikaru Shida vs Thunder Rosa was all we needed in regards to the women on the main card. They put on a wrestling clinic and showcased what womens wrestling in AEW should be it's a shame this rest of the division aren't like them. The eight man tag team match among with a few other matches did not need to be on the main card and could have easily been on dynamite but it was a very good match with not storytelling with Lee and Colt. FTR vs Page & Omega was the match of the night by a long shot. Great storytelling, great heel and face work, and great overall tag team wrestling, the aftermath as usual has me puzzled and I love it. Two of the best tag teams in the world got at it and performed wonderfully. Cassidy vs Jericho was the worst of their trilogy, and this match could have also been on a special episode of Dynamite. But at the end it got the job done with Orange Cassidy getting over and Jericho turning him into a star within AEW. MJF vs Jon Moxley was a fantastic match with MJF being the good heel as he can possibly be. My only problem with this is that L. A winning the battle royale spoiled the match. AEW booked themselves into a corner, either Archer wins the title from Moxley, Moxley beats Archer which would be pointless since they ha build him up to big just for him to lose, MJF beating Moxley and Archer wouldn't be belivable, and MJF beating Moxley but losing to Archer wouldn't be right for him. All of this plus a dead crowd and a half bad card made this the worst AEW ppv"

[8.0] "A decent show. MJF vs MOX stole the show for me. FTR vs Hangman Omega and Jericho vs Cassidy were just slightly behind that. Shida vs Rosa and Bucks vs JE was good. Dark Order vs Pvt Party was enjoyable in the preshow. At the end of the day, this ppv is gonna be remembered by it's negatives though i. e Baker vs Swole (worst opener ever), Matt Sydal botch in the Casino Battle Royal, and most importantly the Hardy vs Sammy match."

[5.0] "The cliche that comes to mind when thinking back on this PPV is, "You can't win them all. " I don't think many people would argue with the statement that this was AEW's worst PPV to date, although to be fair, all of their other ones have been good-to-great. This one was plagued with botches and bad decisions, and in the end, what most people will remember about this PPV is the negative stuff that happened, not the positive."

[7.0] "The show was held together by the top matches and the real opener, i. e. the Bucks vs. Jurassic Express, the rest was ranging from okayish to downright ugly in a bad way. Opening the show with a cinematch was a bad choice, that segment should have been on Dynamite, if anywhere. Young Bucks showing off signs of a heel turn was interesting. The battle royal was a mess, both in a good and bad way. Sydal is a welcome addition, even if his first move was botched to the point where it could have ended his career or even life. Speaking of which, the Broken Rules match was not a good idea and after the table spot should have ended right there. Shida and Rosa struggled at first, but did have a nice match in the end. The eight man tag was good action, but not really PPV-worthy, a strange booking decision to use it just to further the storylines with Colt and setting up Dustin vs. Brodie at Dynamite. Then my personal MOTN took place, as I love both FTR and Omega/Hangman and the match was perfect in my opinion. The finish made sense and the Cleaner (excuse me: Washer) teases are becoming reality and I love it. Jericho and Cassidy had their best match yet, thanks to a unique and fun gimmick that helped distract from the fact that these two do not click at all in the ring. The main event was great, MJF held his own and showed that indeed, in a few years, he will be able to dominate the wrestling world as a worthy champion. Still glad Mox won, though, as he should lose that title to Kenny either at the end of the year or the beginning of 2021."

[6.0] "There was some good stuff on this show, namely Bucks/JE, Shida/Rosa, the tag title match and the main event, but this was by far AEW's worst PPV. Too much didn't deliver, and it was inexcusable to resume Hardy vs. Guevara purely because Hardy was meant to go over and there was a big spot to do. There's such a thing as booking your way out of a problem. Matt Sydal botching his SSP was also a poor legacy this show leaves."

[8.0] "I have many complaints regarding this, but those are related to the high standards of AEW per se, not with this event. The main event was great, you couldn;t expect more in terms of work-rate from these two character driven wrestlers. The women's match was excellent, the best on AEW until now. The tag match, was decent, but FTR just don't do it for me, I preferred the Bucks vs Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus."

[5.0] "Another delusional event from AEW attempting to lure out minds to the Darkside. Stand out performances were from Bucks/JE (7) Shida/Rosa (8) FTR/PageOmega (9). While Baker/Swole (2) & Hardy/Guevara (1) were absolutely shocking."

[3.0] "Only two matches really worth watching and two absolute catastrophes of very different kinds on the show. Add onto that a lot of gimmick matches and you get an overall underwhelming show."

[1.0] "It's the worst PPV for AEW. The only match to see was the Women's Championship Match. The rest was boring."

[5.0] "ALL OUT 2020 was an interesting show... it wasn't bad but it definitely had a lot of bad on it. Several matches under-performed and disappointed and others just weren't good. AEWs worst PPV outing to date. Jim Ross had probably his worst night of commentary ever and they need to replace him ASAP. Swole/Baker and Hardy/Guevara were both two worst MOTY contenders. But there was some unexpected gems on this show, with the largest being MJF who showed true potential tonight and shattered expectations. [6.0] "I can't give this show more than a 6. The final three matches were all good and so were the Shida/Ford and Young Bucks/Jurassic Express matches, but the rest was average at best. Swole vs Baker was a subpar cinematic match that was quite short. The Battle royal was decent at best. The only thing memorable about the Dark Order vs Natural Nightmare match was that JR was insufferable on commentary for it, and the very good promo by Dustin after the match. By far the most awful thing about the show was Sammy vs Hardy. That was a masterclass of failure. The dangerous spot was unnecessary and poorly executed. The fact that the match was allowed to restart was embarrassingly bad and a bad look for AEW. The rest of the match was forgettable because nobody could bother caring due to how poorly all of this was handled. The bad taste of this match lingered throughout the show, which seemed never ending. Seven of the nine PPV matches went at least 14 minutes. The PPV portion of the show went four hours. That's overkill. For all these reasons, even though there were some very good matches, there was a lot of damning stuff on this show that makes it the worst PPV AEW has done to date.
