[8.0] "The WWE Tag Title handicap match, Noble Vs Nidia and Holly Vs Rhyno were all just bad and World Greatest Tag Team Vs APA was just decent at best, but both Chavo Vs Mysterio and Angle Vs Cena Vs Big Show were both great and Lesner Vs Eddie is really phenomenal. Overall WWE No Way Out (2004) is a good show thanks to its top matches and Eddie's moment."

While the first half was very unmemorable, the final three matches are fantastic and more than enough to make it a good show."

[7.0] "A very good show, even though the first few matches didn't point to the quality PPV. The opener was meh as Basham Brothers still weren't interesting at all, Noble vs Nidia had an irritating fake Michael Cole laughing throughout the whole thing and Holly vs Rhyno dragged. But there was much more good stuff than stinkers. First of all Goldberg's segment with Heyman and Lesnar was great and they did a fine job of building these two's eventual contest. Then when it comes to matches Haas and Benjamin got the best out of the late APA, Chavo vs Rey didn't really hook me as much as I'd want to, but it was still a pretty fun, well done bout and the Triple Threat Match was a very well structured contest with all three guys having interesting dynamics between each other, especially Cena and Angle. And then the main event was phenomenal and the scenes after Eddie won the title were magnificent. The underdog story was told in a fantastic way here, Guerrero's babyface performance was absolutely incredible and the image of him celebrating is just iconic. So overall another very good SmackDown show and even if some mid stuff happened the main event and midcard scene was so solid that it covered for it."

And even that match is pretty overrated minus the victory and celebration in my opinion. The undercard is pretty stock and uninspired, and the main events both hold their weight, but don't overdeliver either. Overall, it's a pretty average show right down the middle. Besides Eddie's big victory, I can't really recommend this show, but at the same time, if you decide to throw it on, you could have made worse choices in PPV's too."

[9.0] "Admittedly I loved this show because of the main event bias but Eddie's title win is one of the most special moments I can remember in wrestling and his contest with Brock Lesnar is absolutely absorbing to sit through. The rest of the show actually turned out better than expected for the most part. The triple threat number 1 contender match is a lot of fun to watch, Chavo Guerrero's Cruiserweight Title win over Rey Mysterio was excellent and I thought APA vs The World's Greatest Tag Team was a hidden gem. Some of the weaknesses with the Smackdown midcard is exposed here with the other matches kinda just being there although only Jamie Noble vs Nidia stood out as terrible. The Goldberg segment where he gets arrested was a lot of fun too, although Michael Cole is pretty grating on commentary."

[7.0] "I wouldnt call any of the 1st 4 matches a disaster or anything, and the only one I would actively call bad was Noble vs Nidia due to the stipulation mainly although it did its job in telling a story at least. The main issue I had with those matches is that all of those matches felt like they belonged on SD as opposed to the PPV and were clear filler. The last 3 matches all felt different and belonged on PPV. Rey vs Chavo was great, the 3 way was good, and Brock/Eddie is one of the best WWE title matches ever. This barely gets a 7 from me due to the main event."

[7.0] ""I've been here before..." The package at the beginning of this event is one of my absolute favourites that WWE has ever produced. To this day I can still remember every line. There is so much emotion, the dialogue is fantastic ("Eddie, it's really sad. You've overcome all those demons, only to be destroyed by the biggest demon of them all. I'm Brock Lesnar! You're not fighting the odds, Eddie, you're fighting me") and it sets the stage perfectly for the main event. The first half of the card is watchable, but as I noted in some of my match comments it feels a lot more like an episode of Smackdown than a Pay-Per-View. The final three matches really stand out, though. The cruiserweight title and #1 contenders matches are both very underrated, and the main event is an all-time classic. I would probably give this event a 6.0 ordinarily as the first half isn't really up to PPV standard (even if none of it was outright bad - even Noble vs Nidia was at least well worked for what it was), but the main event is so brilliant and the post-match moment is so iconic that I think it edges the event towards a higher score. You can skip the first half of the show and miss nothing of consequence, but the final three matches are all worth watching and the main event is a 'must watch' for any pro wrestling fan, even if I do suspect that many new fans may find it a bit slow compared to what they are used to. "They say there's No Way Out... I can think of at least one... Can you, ese? "."

[8.0] "Honestly a very fun show with a killer co-main and main events. The tag team matches are fun to watch and don't get boring. The Cruiserweight Title match is just classic Mysterio and Chavo action and the interferences don't take anything away from it. Even the random Holly vs Rhyno match was decent. If this show had a little less Goldberg and a LOT less Noble vs Nidia, I'd give it a 9. Very underrated."
