[6.0] "Another perfectly satisfactory Dark for the second week in a row. The main event was good, but I didn't think it was that great (Meltzer, don't ever change) and probably could've been like 10 minutes shorter. The opening match was ok. They were trying to get Kip Sabian over early in the company's history, but I don't think it ever really worked. The multi-tag match this week was about the same as the one last week. Overall, it was a decent episode."

[5.0] "The main event saved the show, although I found it a shame to include such a stipulation and dedicate so much time to such a poorly constructed match. The other two matches were relatively mediocre. Furthermore, the near absence of any non-match content is regrettable, given that AEW didn't have much time to develop its storylines and characters at that point. In-ring quality: 2.5/5. Non-match angles and segments: 0.25/3. Bonus/penalty: none. Total: 4.75/10. Watched on AEW's YouTube channel."

[8.0] "This was probably the best episode of Dark for the entire run. It opened with a pretty fun Three-Way between Kip Sabian, Peter Avalon, and Sonny Kiss, that fell apart when Kip got hurt. It was followed by a good tag match between The Hybrid2 and The Dark Order and CIMA and SCU. Finally, we got the easy match of the night, and probably the match of all of Dark, as Kenny Omega took on Joey Janela in a Lights Out Match."

[8.0] "The second episode of Dark and probably the most infamous one, as this contains the well known Lights Out main event between Kenny Omega and Joey Janela. I thought all of the three matches on this one were solid/fun to watch. Kenny Omega on Dark seems like a pretty big deal even at the start and he was easily the MVP here. Solid show, and much more enjoyable than the first episode."

[9.0] "The three way was solid, the 8 man tag was pretty good, and then the big main event was great, especially considering it was up free for all on youtube. Important episode to show what can happen on Dark."

[5.0] "A pretty mediocre show. No good matches this week, just a series of fine to alright ones. Sabian vs Avalon vs Kiss was pretty bland. Avalon and Kiss both had terrible gimmicks (Kiss' is actually worse than Avalon's), but Avalon at least wrestled far more seriously, even if Kiss' athleticism was technically better. Sabian was bland but had the most exciting offence with all his acrobatic and speedy spots. **1/2. SCU & Cima vs Dark Order & TheHybrid2 was my MOTN. Solid tag work all around. Everyone got time to shine, but I think Kazarian was the most exciting performer with how he was able to rapidly fire off so many clean attacks in such a short period of time. The match progressively became faster and the exchanges more complex, and it felt like we were shaping up to get a really good match, but then the cheap finish came for TheHybrid2 to pick up the win. I'm at least glad this type of finish wasn't on Dynamite, but ref-distraction cheat finishes will usually always leave me with a sour taste. ***. Now, the worst part of this show was that ridiculous segment putting over a damn referee of all people. This particular ref was already in my bad books for how she's pushed as the 'assertive' type who likes to get in wrestlers faces (which just needlessly belittles the wrestlers, even if they're heels) and for her ridiculously melodramatic expressions in the big matches, but now she's been used for the CHEAPEST of shots against WWE. Who watching a wrestling show actually cares how the damn refs are treated? She wasn't offered a more important role at WWE, but it's not like she was buillied or anything. AEW was already very petty with their shots at WWE, but this takes the cake. Omega vs Janela was alright, but far too long. I liked this whenever Omega was working in his usual offence, but most of the hardcore spots were very bland (guy gets thrown into x object repeated x10). Janela also doesn't do much for me. ***"

The other two were below average and I have no desire to see either in action again soon. I don't like eight-man tags, as the chemistry is usually off, however today Evans and Daniels really carried an entertaining match. Evans has really impressed recently and is held back by the lack of a singles mid-card. The unsanctioned "lights out" match was good. Janela and Omega both took more than a fair share of dangerous bumps. This match wasn't just a mess of unconnected spots, there was a to and fro, counters, proper wrestling throws and suspense. Some of the spots were incredibly well done, particularly the slam onto the edge of the chairs, the beginning of the finishing sequence. Overall another very fun show from AEW."

[8.0] "This was even better than last week's show. The two first matches were okay, but Omega vs Janela specifically was great. Also, the angle with Aubrey shows how this company can put anyone over, even refs. I feel like Dark is going to be the place where they are going to throw those matches that please the fans who've been with them from the beginning. I am happy with that."
