[5.0] "I wasn't into this show at all. It had only one relatively good match, and that was just from a random midcard match. Everything else was mediocre to alright, with the final 3 'big' matches all being majorly disappointing. First 2 tag matches were bland with a few fine exchanges. Both were about **1/4 to **1/2. The 6-man tag had a bit more juice than the first 2, with some stiff strikes and a lot of intensity. **3/4. The 6-man Titles hardcore elimination match was really mediocre. It had that super slow sleazy brawl feel about it. Some fine wrestling and weapon spots but nothing too interesting. **1/2. Takeda & Tsukamoto vs Ueki & Sakuda was MOTN for me. It had good death match spots mixed in with a good series of gruesome power moves. This was the only match on the show that truly felt like it encapsulated the BJW spirit. Finishing stretch was very good too. ***1/4. Kazuki vs Tajiri was totally generic. Heatless exchanges back and forth before Tajiri got the upset win with his usual cheating spots. **1/2. Jake & Iwamoto vs Kikuta & Kawakami took a while to get going but was decent by the end. Brawl-heavy in the first half and then more energetic in the second half. Jake had a few great moments mixed in with moments of just going through the motions. The other 3 were equally up and down. ***. Sekimoto vs Okabayashi was the first truly annoying disappointment of the night, as both men massively held back until only the final few minutes, at which point they then very briefly gave us the demolition-train exchanges we were hoping for. I was shocked at how underwhelming this was. ***. Takahashi vs Kodaka was equally disappointing. This felt like the most bland death match ever. It was just smashed lighttubes and generic power moves for ages, without any exchanges or spots that truly felt fitting for a 'death' match. Kodaka was better than Takahashi, but even he wasn't that interesting here. ***"
