[8.0] "The 2nd half of the show was especially great with probably four 4-star matches. 12 matches in one night can be too much for some people, but it was all action."
[9.0] "Great show. Took a while before it got great but eventually the matches were great one after another. King/Lee was a great opener ***3/4. Cobb/Horus was pretty good ***1/4. Eagles/Shingo was good. Took some time to get going but picked up by the end ***1/2. CIMA/Janela was good, little too overdone with the kickouts though ***1/2. WALTER/Rock was pretty good ***1/4. Bandido/Flamita was great ****. Rascalz/Lucha Bros was an awesome tag ****1/4. Cobb/Lee was a squash. Bandido/Janela was crazy ****. WALTER/Shingo was an awesome slugfest ****1/4. Ten Man was fine ***. Cobb/Bandido/Shingo was incredible and match of the weekend. The first part with Shingo was good, but the Bandido/Cobb stuff was outstanding and the best of the final 2 when it comes to BOLA finals matches ****1/2."
[9.0] "Easily the best night as it was much more consistent in quality. Lee and Brody put on a nice little opener with quite a bit of brawling, ***1/2. Not much chemistry between Cobb and Horus as Cobb didn't really look too motivated, ***1/4. Robbie vs Shingo told a great story in a short amount of time, ****. A good match between Joey and CIMA, but it had a weird finish, ***3/4. WALTER vs Jonah was a pretty nothing match surprisingly, ***. Bandido vs Flamita was as great as one would expect with a match between these two tag partners, ****1/4. Rascalz vs Lucha Bros wasn't as good as the prior two nights tag matches, but still a great spot fest with some cute comedy in the beginning, ****1/4. I'm not going to deny it was satisfying seeing Cobb squash Trevor Lee, NR. Bandido vs Joey was a great culmination of their crossing paths in this tournament, ****1/4. Shingo vs WALTER was a great match, but it fell slightly below my really high expectations, ****1/4. The traditional ten man tag was a very fun ride with lots of crazy spots, ****. The main event was an incredible final match with Bandido coming out looking like a bigger star than what he already was, ****1/2."
[9.0] "Wow this building in DTLA is waaaay better than Reseda (show started on time and it took me about two minutes to get into the building and find a seat - and they have good a/c). High energy crowd all night even though a lot have been to multiple shows. Everything was good to great, with no down-points and nothing too long. Crowd knew everyone; Shingo was more over than CIMA, which surprised me. Trevor Lee on the mic is cutting some of the most entertaining heel promos in the business. Fave matches of the night: WALTER/ Shingo, Lucha Bros/Rascalz, Janela/Bandito, Flamita/Bandito ... and the finals might have been the best match of the night. This was a 4 hour+ show that flew by - great pacing & booking and one of my favorite PWG shows I? ve been to since I moved out here in ? 11"
