[5.0] "Raw opens with a recap of the PPV with the major focus on the bret hart/lawler match... NOT the KOTR tourney. So it's almost like, less than 24 hours later, they were well aware that Mabel winning the tournament was not a good move. Like dude, why the fuck? anyway. this episode does not start out very good. I really like when the following Raw after a PPV revolves around the most important stuff from the PPV. But we have none of that here. Mabel's match is nothing more than a throw away, and there's pretty much zero attention given to his victory. There's way more attention being given to lawler/bret and the fact that savio vega participated in four matches. Honestly it's mind boggling. Also, I have no idea about this dentist character but I guess it ends up being kane? I never knew he had a different character outside of "fake diesel" between his wwf debut and his appearance as kane. Then there's a promo for waylan mercy? This guy is a life guard? LMAO wow they weren't kidding when they say vince was obsessed with gimmicks. There is a nice recap of the 1995 WWF HOF ceremony, which is something we really didn't get to see often on Raw. Best parts of the show for me were Man Mountain Rock jamming away another guitar solo (he's actually really good and it's fun to watch him do a guitar solo before killing someone), Sunny existing, and the final match. I realize that Savio Vega was Kwang, but most of the viewers at the time did not know this. And him being put in a main event so quickly, as well as him speaking at the HOF event? It's just weird. However, the main event in this raw was very good. If their goal was to make savio vega a thing, and push JJ vs HBK, they did a good job. So for that, I'll bring this up from the 3 that I was planning to rate it before the final 10 minutes to a 5. The match was actually a fun watch too. I just wish overall that there would be more story/fall out from kotr. Also I am sure that the people who were watching Raw but didn't see the PPV were confused as fuck why Savio Vega is in the main event and why he is being touted as wrestling 4 times yesterday."

[5.0] "The only reason I'm giving this RAW a 5 is because of the main event between Double J and Savio Vega, it was a fun little match with some funny outside shenanigans between Road Dogg and HBK. Outside of that, nothing happened on this RAW at all apart from the tease of the debut of Isaac Yankem, the future Kane."

[6.0] "Quite an interesting episode covering the fall out from KOTR and including the first tease of the Isaac Yankem character from Lawler. There's also a great Waylon Mercy promo and a solid main event between Savio and Jeff Jarrett."
