[3.0] "The 2nd round of the Road to Glory PCW show and yet again it's mostly terrible. It's disappointing because the high points here were much greater than the 1st round, but on average the matches were just as bad. Semi-final of Allmark vs Sabre Jr was fine. It was pretty typical britwres grappling exchanges. Nothing special but still engaging. Then Allmark sadly won using Sabre's own signature roll-up pin. I hate seeing this move used so frequently. **3/4. Banham & Big-T vs Dunkerton & Brooks was bad. Annoying pageantry from the latter team and basic heel work from the former. **. Smith & Sterling vs Rampage & T-Bone was slightly better. Smith & Sterling had random personal issues and were quite comical. Rampage & T-Bone were pretty bland monsters. After a long bland brawl things got better once they returned to the ring. **1/4. Moose vs Apollo was another fine semi-final. Lots of nice athletic feats. Fine work but nothing felt too special. **3/4 Riddle vs Brooks was MOTN and MOTT. This was very surprising. Some nice heel work from Brooks, great MMA work from Riddle, and a great hot finishing stretch between both men as they just bust out big moves. Great chemistry. Crazy for a barely 10 minute match. ***1/2. Random 8-man tag was just dreadful. Comedy and bland wrestling. *1/2. The Tag Team Finals was bad. Big-T & Banham did the same schtick they were always doing and it still wasn't compelling. Once Big-T couldn't get involved Rampage & T-Bone easily destroyed Banham. It definitely didn't make for a very compelling story at all. **. Apollo vs Allmark was dreadful. Barely 10 minutes for a finals match and its filled with some stupid dabbing contests, Apollo getting a basic control period, and then Allmark winning out of nowhere with what else but a damn roll-up pin. Honestly, far too many serious singles tournament matches ended that way over the course of these two Road to Glory shows. It was a total joke. *3/4."
