[10.0] "Night 3 rounded out an awesome weeknd of wrestling, this year? s 16 Carat was a major win for me across the whole way. Riddle/Ilja ended up being my favorite match, an awesome follow up to the great main event of night 2, I see a lot of potential in this Ilja title run and he is over like crazy. The tournament ended on a strong note, and even though I thought they went a little overboard on the kickouts, I still have to applaud the performance of Absolute Andy this whole weekend, he? s been a true standout in the company this year and is one of the most well rounded heels out there right now. I hope David Starr continues to get his due as well, as he is a phenomenal talent and seems to be at his best consistently in wXw."
[10.0] "Keith & Starr had a really hot opener with great moments of strength from both men (***3/4+). Thatcher vs Andy was a tremendous clash between the traditionalist face and the dirty heel; the counter of all of Andy's rule-breaking by Tim was awesome, and the crowd was 110% into it; everything clicked perfectly (****1/2). 4-way was a mediocre spotfest with very little that felt fresh (**1/4). Women's match was a sprint with the great character Martina, the badass Kelly, the monster Wesna, and then Toni was her mediocre self dragging the match down; at least Toni did some good piledrivers (***). Riddle & Ilja just beat the piss out of each other, a great exhibition-style first defense (***3/4). Trios match was a lot of spots, but it dragged at times; Jonah & Speedball were the MVPs with Al-Ani and Banks also putting in work (***1/4). Ringkampf vs RISE was a really nice tag match with strong face/heel dynamics (***3/4). Andy vs Starr was a really strong epic-style tournament final that didn't overstay its welcome at only 22 minutes; Starr's resilience combined with ANdy's cockiness allowed the match to just keep going as Starr was beaten up; the finishing sequence was a bit overdone but I really loved the shitheel Andy character toying with a guy that had so much fire in Starr and how that almost backfired (****1/4). Really strong final day for this year's 16 Carat weekend."
[10.0] "Starr/Keith was a damn good David vs. Goliath bout (***3/4), Andy/Thatcher was terrific - Andy's heel performance was all kinds of awesome (****1/4), AJ/Sitoci/Kid/Haskins was very meh (*), Storm/Kelly/Wesna/Martina was really good - fun action from start to finish (***1/2), Ilja/Riddle was a borderline great, hard hitting bout (***3/4), the 6-man tag was pretty good; some good stuff in it, some boring stuff in it (**1/2), Ringkampf/RISE was absolutely TERRIFIC - a wonderful tag match; the storytelling was top notch (****), Starr/Andy is my pick for not only the best match of the night, but the best match of the whole 16 Carat weekend! Starr's babyface performance was perfect going against Absolute Andy's absolute bastard of a heel character (****3/4). What a great, great show! Definitely the best of the 3 nights."
