[6.0] "The show's structure was weird, but the end results was mostly enjoyable. The Hardy Boys intro got the crowd rowdy, but sadly they did not get involved further, which his a missed opportunity. The 8-men tag match was an absolutely fantastic opener, as the Uncle John's Friends stable is a great heel group, while the babyface side was star-studded, and they provided a thrilling spotfest that completes their trifecta of great matches, which sadly would be the abrupt end for this short-lived group. Then, another main event quality match followed in Yehi/Dezmond, has the champion logged another magnificent performance in his title reign and continued to show both his uniqueness and his versatility as he had another great match with another distinctive challenger. Stone/Davis III did not quite live to its predecessors, much more truncated and basic, but still a strong match to end Stone's stellar title reign. I do worry that Jon Davis's resurgence might be un the sole shoulders of his opponents Rhett Giddins and Martin Stone, and it remains to be seen if he can maintain their standard of quality. Theory/Caleb was a huge step down, as Caleb got back to his bad habits and Austin Theory was content to follow his lead, making for a short match that fell flat. Priscilla/Aria had trouble captivating, symptomatic of the very lethargic women's division in 2017, and really was a nothing match. Cade/Henry was a decent main event, although it would have been better suited for the undercard, and featured good action despite a frankly curt finish. The second-half of the show contained lesser matches and lost the special vibe of the show, but the first half was so much fun that you can't call it lesser than good and feel that you had a nice time."
[5.0] "This show is like the sampler platter from the appetizer part of the menu, little bits of evthing, six matches in 80 minutes. It was too hot, and I was too cheap to take an Uber, but really that direct sun made it too hot after a late evening and I knew that if I left for downtown I would get cajoled into attending WMania, which is the last thing I wanted. The rock-show @ the stage set-up looked cool and and I wouldn't have minded staring at Kaci from the front rown chowin on some BBQ. To add, and I say this from live experiences, I think Priscilla's aesthetically a more pleasing version of Paige. The eight man was booked as the Main event, but as it was a 2 1/2 * eight minute spot fest, I'm glad it was the opener. Guevara was pinned by a sick tombstoning J Crist after a AR Fox top rope double stomp. And the second match, world title contest, was also eight minutes and felt like nothing. I'm pleased 'the Guv'nor' and JD worked the floor of the venue as it brought the crowd further into the in-ring action. The crowd didn't care about either guy but it was a fine 2 3/4 match w/ a killer finishing sequence by J Dave: Pop-up powerbomb rolled through into a release German -> short-arm lariat. A classy M Stone verbally puts Jon over afterwards. The idea for Caleb/A Theory was this to be a mirror match, in that Austin is where/whom Caleb could have been seven years ago, but Austin isn't mature enough of a performer to project a quality under (experienced & aged) baby. His moves look fine, but give me a reason to care. And Caleb's, Caleb. How about Priscilla's half-nelson suplex? The Pedigree-buster, double hammerlock driver, not so much... The main event featured two youngsters of whose work I preferred the nimble J Cade and his footwork. AH's urinage to Cade on the apron featured too little of the 'arm whiplash' that really puts the move over. Some Kid Rock-Brian Lee morph comes out to collect a bounty... huh? that was nothing compared to Brawn on Roman."
[8.0] "Among the most enjoyable shows on Wrestlemania weekend. With the card being presented backwards, the main events went on first and all three were very enjoyable with Davis/Stone being my favorite. Caleb/Theory was a fine match. Kelly/Blake was the lowpoint of the show and Cade/Henry had an enjoyable opener. Very easy show to watch."
[7.0] "A very enjoyable compact show. The 8-Man tag was all over the place and it was really fun stuff, with some great tandem offense that managed to incorporate 3 or 4 people towards the end, and Priscilla getting Elgin Bombed to the outside was neat (***1/2). I wish Darby could've been part of it, but you can see that his head is messed up at ringside. Xavier vs Yehi was a very sound championship match; Yehi is so good and held himself like a champion, as he paced the match and did his best to ground the high-flying Dezmond (***1/2). Stone vs Davis was an even better title match, with some animosity and some great hoss-off action; Stone has impressed me a for a while now, but Davis was the one that stood out to me here in his victory, proving he can keep up with his opponent shortly after having a great showing in the WWN Title match (***3/4). Konley vs Theory started out pretty basically, but the final sequences were good stuff, with Theory's strength in catching Caleb right out of the air being the highlight (***). Priscilla vs Blake was not a very good match at all, with some awkward and poorly-done spots; the only really bad portion of the show (*1/2). Henry vs Cade was a good 10-minute match that was worked like a main event even though the main event matches went on first; all the offense looked very good and there was some tension, but there just weren't many stakes in this (***1/4). A recommendable show if you like anybody on this card, except the women's match."
