[8.0] "Day 2 (of 3), so it's in the middle between a strong opener and a most important final day: it couldn't have been more than that, honestly, and it was a pretty good one. Riddle vs Cobb was an incredible match."
[8.0] "Mandrews & Webster vs. The London Riots easily worst match of the night - just never really got going (*), Haskins/Bate was OK; the finish was what it was and there were quite a few awkward sequences in it I thought (**), Sexsmith/ZSJ was really awesome - loved Sexsmith's selling & Zack on the offense is always superb (***3/4), Cobb/Riddle was very good - on par with their recent EVOLVE meeting (***1/2), Flamita/Banks was pretty good (**3/4), BSS vs. Starr & Eaver was super fun - loved the Trent SIX banter all the way through (***3/4), the main event for the PROGRESS Women's Championship was just fantastic - easy MOTN (****1/4). Overall a really strong show w/ only one truly bad match."
[9.0] "Mandrews & Webster vs The Riots was an absolute nothing opener; nothing interested me at all (**). Bate vs Haskins was a good match but I wasn't a big fan of the clusterfuck finish even if it was to progress stories (***1/4). ZSJ vs Sexsmith was a sloppy angle match (**). Cobb & Riddle saved the fuck out of this show by having the match everybody knew they could have since they interacted at BOLA; the technical prowess of both with the strikes of Riddle and power of Cobb, with both guys going into the other's wheelhouse, just two shoot combat athletes going all-out in full-on pro wrestling mode; some minor issues are forgiven via the HOSS ACTION and the use of the knee that knocked Seven the FUCK out in the very beginning and end of the match (****1/2). Banks vs Flamita was as dynamic as I hoped it would be; super fun sprint here from this unexpected dream match (***3/4 or so). BSS vs Starr & Eaver was REALLY fun stuff; a lot of good comedy with a strong heel-face dynamic, Eaver looking great, and a really good hot tag from Starr; the use of the number "6" in this match was SO good, and the final scramble was nice (***3/4). The main event being the Women's Title (which is a very nice belt) match is cool, and with Jinny in that slot you know it'll deliver. Jinny is, as expected, tremendous in this from the beginning, being the disdainful high-class ice queen fashionista that can base for her opponents and has some disgusting offense of her own while having history with both of the faces; Laura is green but she's a good face, Toni is not good but her power offense looked good here, and by god the strikes and bumps in this match were main event-level; Jinny, her work, and the storytelling that involved her held this whole match together as she got the crowd behind both of the other women; a carryjob of the highest order, and one that Jinny pulled off perfectly (****). Show started very dull but improved fast and HARD."
