| 6 | 06.10.2016 | HudE | 8.0 | Das war eine Veranstaltung, auf die ich mich im Vorfeld sehr gefreut habe, da es eine absolute Killercard war und die Veranstaltungen konnte das halten, was es versprach. Der Opener war ein nettes Match, aber etwas zu viele Botches und insgesamt zu wenig Rhythmus, um es als ein gutes Match bezeichnen zu können, die letzten Minuten waren jedoch unterhaltsam. Bodom vs. Ishii war wie erwartet eine gute Begegnung zwischen 2 starken Wrestlern, wobei sich Ishii hier sicherlich zurückgehalten hat. Moose vs. Sha Samuels war kurz und schmerzlos und konnte streckenweise sogar gut unterhalten. Ospreay vs. Dunne war das beste Match des Abends mit dem richtigen Sieger. Ospreay ist der Wahnsinn und ohne Zweifel einer der Superstars in der momentanen Indyszene. Scurll gegen Bailey war ebenfalls wie ziemlich gut, wenn auch nicht ganz so stark wie das Match davor. Sydel vs. Big Damo war eine kleine Enttäuschung, da die 2 irgendwie überhaupt nicht zueinandergefunden haben im Ring. Das Match hatte weder ein gutes Tempo noch eine gute Matchstory. Für mich das Match, mit dem ich an diesem Abend am wenigsten anfangen konnte. Der Main Event war allerdings ebenfalls bärenstark und rundete diese Veranstaltung genial ab. Ich hoffe, dass es das angedeutete Rematch geben wird und die 2 ein noch besseres Match zeigen werden. Alles in allem war das eine Veranstaltung mit 3 guten Matches und ohne einen wirklichen Totalausfall. |

| 8 | 04.08.2016 | jboyaquar | 8.0 | Quite easily one of the finest events of the summer season, this is the best complete RPW show I've seen since last year's Summer Sizzler. The card features no less than three *** 1/2 star matches with a well-booked, entertaining, if a tad too long, 4 team Tag title opener. Gideon Grey is a keen heel foil for any upstart to work against and he served his purpose well here assisting the young babyface tag champs to maintain their positive momentum. Bodom matched Ishii with his intensity and sbility to take/withstand stiff blows and certainly the denouncement was both a 'thank you' for Ishii's incredible effort against Big Damo at last year's S Sizz event as well to cover for New Japan J-O-Bbing a star of theirs in the main. Sha over Moose was also good enough to recommend (3 ***;) Moose looked good and assisted Samuels to take the next step in his expected early fall feud with Big Damo. The less demanding schedule over the last month has appeared to benefit Ospreay as he and Dunne had a genuine 4 snowflake battle that culminated in a passionate post-match speech delivered with great conviction. Scrull and Bailey impressed as MS's intelligence proved superior to MB's highlight reel. Sydal-Damo was aimless and I know, from listening to him in casual settings, he doesn't put his 'all' in most matches. The main event was simply lovely; Shibata took the match and technical challenge seriously, and wasn't just a NJPW star in ROH lollygagging for the adoring fans. A 8. 5-Recommended |

Two great matches stand out to me in Scurll vs Speedball and Bodom vs Ishii, which seem to not be the two matches people seemed to love the most here. Dunne vs Ospreay was a very nice match, however, and Shibata vs Sabre was good. I also thought the rest of the matches were good in some capacity, granted Sydal vs Damo didn't really go anywhere. Still, loved two matches on this card, and all of Revolution Pro's York Hall shows have a hot crowd. |

Aber gut, anscheinend kann doch nicht jede britische Promotion einen guten haben :D Tag Team Match war ok... mehr nicht. Richtige Sieger, richtige Verlierer! (***) Bodom vs. Ishii war dann echt nochmal ein gutes Stückchen besser! (*** 1/4) Moose vs. Samuels dann... naja höchstens mittelmäßig (** 1/2) Dunne vs. Ospreay dann stark! Will hier klar Man of the Match! (*** 3/4) Scurll und Speedball Bailey dann mit vielen schönen Spots und Momenten, trotzdem hat es bei mir nicht ganz gepasst! (*** 1/2) Sydal und Damo dann irgendwie mit nem minimalen kleinen Downer! (** 3/4) Sabre und Shibata dann im Mainer wie zu erwarten mit soliden, allerdings nicht großartig überragenden Match! Ishii vs. Bodom war echt gut mit sehr ansehnlicher Schlussphase und gut angewendeter Stiffness. Darf gerne auch in den Matchguide aufgenommen werden (*** 1/2). Moose vs. Samuels war an sich okay, Schlussphase dagegen echt sehr schlecht (**). Ospreay vs. Dunne war dann ein schönes Match mit sehr netter Schlussphase, einigen netten Spots (u. a. Tombstone Piledriver auf den Hallenboden & Super Reverse Frankensteiner) und solidem Storytelling (****). Scurll und Bailey lieferten ebenso ein starkes Match ab, das zwar nicht ganz so gut wie das vorherige war, aber ebenso unterhaltend. Scurll wieder mal mit wunderbarem Heelwork, das einen Storystrang vom Anfang des Matches bis zur Finishvorbereitung entwickelte. Das Finish an sich war super gemacht und vollendete so ein sehr gutes Match (*** 3/4). Sydal vs. Damo war solide (***). Shibata vs. Sabre war besser als erwartet. Schlussphase war ganz nett, insgesamt durchaus gut (*** 1/2). Insgesamt sind das dann 7, 57 von 10 Punkten - "gut". |

Osprey und Dunne liefern sich einen sehr starken Schlagabtausch wo ich mir fast sicher war das dies das MOTN sein wird (**** 1/4), Scurll vs Bailey war auch sehr gut (****), Sydal vs Connor war ein filler um von den 2 Weltklasse Matches runterzukommen. Main Event Sabre vs Shibata: Es hielt was es versprach. Absolutes Dream Match, zwei Großartige Wrestler die hier aufeinander trafen mit großartigen Crowd Reaktionen. (**** 1/2)Insgesamt 3 sehr sehr geile Matches und einige kleine nette Matches für zwischendurch. |

Wunderbarer Opener sehr stark und sehr unterhaltsam (***1/2). Bodom vs Ishii war auch richtig gut (***1/4). Moose vs Sha war sehr solide aber auch unterhaltsam (**1/2). RevPro British Cruiserweight Title Match - Pete Dunne (c) vs. Will Ospreay das ist schon eine Matchguide Empfehlung großartiges Match auch so genial Wills Auftritt mit dem Shoot an Vader (****1/4). Bekommt man Marty vs Mike nicht bei PWG gibt es das halt bei RevPro. Das war zwar nur eine Minispur schlechter aber Holy Shit war das stark (****) mit zwei echt ekligen Szenen als Marty Mike den Zehen und den Finger brach. Der Co Main Event war auch richtig gut (***1/4). Main Event das absolute Highlight Katsuyori der will ein Rematch möchte ich auch was für ein geiler Main Event (****1/2). Volle Punktzahl, es hat hier wieder so viel gestimmt und ja das poste ich viel bei RevPro aber das macht mir nichts aus weil es halt stimmt. Crowd auch wieder sehr stark wie die Kommentatoren. Ich gebe Summer Sizzler 2016 gerne, 10 Punkte. |

Absolutely fantastic show, the sheer consistency in the high quality of the matches is enough to consider this an easy show of the year contender. Shibata-Sabre, Scurll-Bailey, and Ospreay-Dunne were the matches of the night though with all three being incredibly easy watches. |

Still good with a sketchy but cool ending **3/4. Ishii vs Bodom was a really good hard hitting match ***3/4. Moose vs Samuels was actually really entertaining and I thought Moose looked really great here. He has improved immensely and it showed here. Very fun to watch and him playing the babyface with Samuels having to cheat to get the upper hand was a good story ***1/4. Ospreay vs Dunne was amazing! Hopefully in the matchguide soon so I can elaborate. Some insane sequences, both guys looked great, Ospreay is one of a kind ****1/4. The post match promo was fantastic and further showed the star that Ospreay is. Scurll vs Bailey was great ***3/4. Sydal vs Damo was good ***. Sabre vs Shibata was really good but it definitely could've been better so I'm excited for hopefully a rematch where they can top eachother ***3/4 |
