[1.0] "The opener for the most part was fine. Nothing interesting happened. War Machine needed to post on that spinebuster. Match 2 again was just super basic. It felt like a training match, really nothing special. The finish was weird. Match 3, again just wasn't that interesting. War Machine 2 hit a fucking Ganso Bomb! Which I think was accidental. This match had another weird finish where WM1 distracted WM2 which allowed Kidd to get a roll up and the ref fast counted it. Really weird, no idea whats going on. Ox & Pondo started with them dragging the match out massively. But to be fair this was perfect for a local indy show. It was basic but the crowd work at the start really got them interested. Unfortunately this didn't really go anywhere and the crowd work stopped. Ox hit a DDT outside the ring and got the win with a top rope moonsault which was impressive. Despite it being a regular match Pondo still got colour. Rotten vs Tarek - I was looking forward to seeing the clash of styles. It was a bit of a let down to be honest. Ian hit a brutal looking dragon screw leg whip at the start and then until the last 2 minutes it was just boring mat work submissions. Tarek's pop up drop kick and top rope frankensteiner was nice and got a good reaction from the crowd. No idea what was happening after the match but the Total Elimination on Billy the P was cool. Bull Pain vs St John was over in 3 minutes. Nothing to report. The first semi final was also pretty boring. A lot of basic wrestling and punches where Tower of Doom somehow got colour. Tower of Doom hit a massive piledriver but didn't go for the pin. He just stubbled around and waited for Kip Morris to get to his feet like its SvR 07. Chris Kidd vs Ox Harley - it was impressive to see 2 guys their size bust out moonsaults. But again the match was anther DUD. Pain vs Rotten - Bull Pain hit a suicide dive which was pretty crazy to see from him. He then hit a weird pedigree looking move on the floor, afterwards you can see Rotten clear as day getting colour. The videographer was useless. He stood right in front of the hard cam. There was actually some nice hard hitting wrestling that at times I enjoyed. Rotten hits barrel roll off the apron which the crowd loved. Ian hit his finisher out of nowhere which would have been the perfect time to crawl for the cover and do a near fall but instead Bull Pain got to his feet before Ian could do anything. Meaning that the big comeback of Ian hitting his finish out of nowhere was meaningless and I don't understand why they did it. Pain got Irish whipped into the corner and took it like a cannonball which was different. This also knocked the bottom rope out which got a big pop. This match had its faults but it was my favourite match on the show. But it still wasn't good. After the match Ian starts shooting on Bull Pain talking about Bulls ex wife being with Bill Dundee. Brutal shit. The final! - They established that Tower Of Doom was the babyface and Bull Pain & Ox were the heels for the first couple minutes. And then Pain & TOD start double teaming Ox. It didnt really make a lot of sense to just drop what they already established. Once Ox was eliminated there was bits of the match I liked. Bull Pain took a big back body drop followed by a big clothesline. It feels like a jawbreaker is the only cut off these guys know. It seems to have featured a lot on this show. TOD had hit 2 really nice sit out power bombs earlier on but didn't have the energy to get the pin. But the finish we got was Ian Rotten forearming Bull Pain, tripping him and TOD hitting a really lame leg drop for the 3. This was to crown the first ever IWA champion but there was no belt anywhere. The crowing of their first champion was soon an afterthought when Bull & Ian started brawling and there was a big pull apart. Overall, I didn't like this show. A lot of the matches fundamentally were fine, but they were just so dull and so basic. The booking was bad, and the structure and execution of the matches weren't much better. Before the show Ian said they weren't allowed to do hardcore and they were going to show that they knew how to wrestle and knew how to work. I really don't think they did..."
