[8.0] "(7.7/10) Definitely, one of the better Backlash ppvs that you should recommend to any fan who's a fan of WWE but has not witnessed the 2007 event. I was well late to the party after many years and too many people already know about the legacy of Backlash '07. But , for a Vince McMahon-led product, we witnessed the rarity of the card not holding a single dud. Although, I'm sure there are people who absolutely hated the ECW championship. But it was an entertaining ride that is worth the watch, even if Junior might be your least favorite person in the world. The main-event drew shades of a mad Max thriller, a non-stop chase with hits coming from all different directions, with no one ever having a clear advantage, converting the depth in the main-event scene that could make an argument for being among the strongest the company has seen. Even if you don't want to watch Backlash 2007, just go watch the last two matches. I promise, you won't regret it."

[8.0] "A solid card that really had an amazing last hour with two awesome world title matches. The opening tag match was solid with two great teams, the Woman's Title match was decent though the finish happened quick, and Benoit & MVP had another good match like at Wrestlemania. The only real clunker in terms of in ring action was the ECW Title match, and durag Vince ends up with the belt which is a story on itself. The final two matches are fantastic with the match of the night in my opinion being the Last Man Standing match for the WHC, and although it ended in a draw it had some cool spots and both Taker & Batista put on a show. The main event was very good as well with four guys who could all be the top guy and a very well booked finish. 4 star show."

[9.0] "Royal rumble and backlash 2007 are two of the greatest ppv's in wwe history. Batista vs undertaker basically a 10/10 for me high 9 and the fatal 4 way was amazing, 10/10."

[10.0] "ECW Championship Handicap match is bad, Melina Vs James is decent enough, but Hardys Vs Cade and Murdoch is real good fun, Benoit Vs MVP is really great, Batista Vs Undertaker last man standing is incredible and Cena Vs Edge Vs Michaels Vs Orton at the main event is really phenomenal. Overall WWE Backlash (2007) is a real spectacular show and the best Backlash show ever."

[8.0] "I really wasn't expecting this much quality from the Backlash PPV after so many disappointing years with that show. ECW Title match was the only thing that didn't belong here and Mickie vs Melina wasn't anything special, but everything else was great. The opener had an old-school heel team work from Murdoch and Cade who have been a really underrated tag team for quite some time now, Benoit vs MVP was an improvement from their WrestleMania match, while Taker vs Batista on the other hand matched the quality of their Mania contest. It wasn't much different though, as they were relying heavily on the big moves, but they implemented them well into the gimmick match. And then the main event was one of the best multimen matches I've seen with some mind-blowing sequences in the final minutes, plus they were still able to show some character work from all four guys. A really good and enjoyable PPV, 2007 has been fantastic so far."

[6.0] "An extremely consistent event that doesn't waste much time, and doesn't really disappoint. Even the worst match on the card still delivers in terms of character development and set up for the future. While I can't say this Backlash was a show that absolutely blew me away, it was also one I couldn't really turn away from either. Having a PPV that can remain engaging from start to finish it a pretty good accomplishment on its own. The PPV had maybe a bit too many typical and predictable moments for me to call it truly outstanding, but that's not that big of a detractor. This is definitely one that is worth your time to watch, because it delivers across the board."

[10.0] "This is actually one of my favorite PPVs and arguably my favorite non big 4 one. Everything got time (the ECW title match could have been shaved down 5 or so, imo) and the two main events really delivered. I would be willing to argue that Cena/Edge/Orton/HBK is the GOAT fatal four way. MVP/Benoit was probably the weakest of their trilogy but still good. Hardyz/Murdoch & Cade was really good and Melina/Mickie was great and the best match they've had together. I like that there was no filler on this PPV or any 3 min match that could have been done on TV instead."

[6.0] "Okay show. The main event delivered and so did a few of the undercard matches but there was a ton of fluff that isn? t worth watching for future reference. Big Match John does it again. MVP on the night. Best To Worst: John Cena vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels - [***1/2]. Hardy Boyz vs Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch - [***1/4]. Melina vs. Mickie James - [***]. The Undertaker vs. Batista - [**1/2]. Bobby Lashley vs. Shane McMahon, Umaga & Vince McMahon - [**]. Chris Benoit vs MVP - [*]."

[9.0] "1) ***1/4 It never really peaked and that's a shame because it could have been very good 2) ***1/4 This had to be the last decent women's match before the dark days between 2008-2012 3) ***1/4 As good as their Mania match 4) ***1/4 It had just to be entertaining, quality wasn't important. It reached the goal. 5) ****1/4 One of the last great last man standings in WWE. 6) ****1/4 Greatest 4 way ever maybe? Very close if it isn't. Great, great show. Undercard is solid and the main events 100% delivered. That's how you follow up Wrestlemania!"

[8.0] "Backlash is still a great event after Wrestlemania. The two main events are good enough, Batista vs The Undertaker is an impressive Last Man Standing, the Fatal Four Way is entertaining. Great stuff from the ECW Title match, I really liked it. Also, MVP vs Benoit is another good match between them. There is not a bad match in the event, so it's highly recommended."

[8.0] "You'll notice that a lot of the matches on this show are long, with many of them going over the 15 minute mark. This turned out to be good booking on WWE's behalf as the quality of the matches was high throughout the night including the Divas bout. From top to bottom this is an enjoyable show with two awesome main event matches. Thumbs Up"
