[10.0] "The best and most consistent promotion in the UK imo. The best matches in the UK tend to happen at RevPro shows, they set the standard with in-ring competition. Perfect mix of big names, homegrown talents, some of the world's best indie wrestlers and the best young talents in the country. Presentation is great, crowd is great, they choose great venues and they put together some fantastic stories. The current crop of wrestlers are a special bunch and this generation will be looked at very fondly in years to come. I don't think I have ever not enjoyed a RevPro show and there's nearly 15 years of great cards to go back to, although there is an unfortunate amount of Marty Scrull and Josh Bodom for a few years in hindsight."

Not only that but sometimes the screen turns to black. A lot of young talented wrestlers appear in RevPro and this is the most well known promotion in the UK, still I try to watch it as little as possible because of the terrible production."

Thankfully they survived the indy purge WWE tried to do. Have solid consistent events throughout the year and their big PPV events are excellent with a mix of homegrown talents as well as well as a mix of stars from across the the AEW/NJPW/CMLL group of friends which always helps bring in bigger crowds who are always loud. what Andy has done for British wrestling is truly brilliant his commentary is also great i do hope one day Rev Pro will get a UK TV deal which is what they definitely deserve. There streaming service is also great as it offers the back catalogue which his match with big stars over the last 13 years."

Naturally, the primary problem I have with this organization is that their production values for their on-demand service leave a lot to be desired. Rev Pro consistently provides cool wrestling names for their shows, but the overall quality of the show can be very different from one match to another."

Ishallreview wrote on 18.10.2023:
[8.0] "Solid promotion that helps the European independent scene plenty with utilizing a healthy amount of NJPW, CMLL, and indie wrestlers booking-wise. Their production value when watching in-person (which I'm sure it's a treat) seems to be great. But man, they need to improve their live streaming quality wise if they're financially growing. They seem to have a massive boom at the start, mushy in the middle, and regaining momentum now."

As a live product, I think that it's excellent but it's a real chore to watch on VOD. Despite this, undoubtedly the best that Britain has to offer - running a close second to wXw in Europe."

While it has cooled down over the recent years, as a result of the partnership with the WWE and the Speaking Out movement, some promotions are still moving forward. One of them is RevPro. While many would say they have become nothing more than a feeder for NJPW, I think that's exaggerated, as they possess their own roster that's worth checking out as they have great matches to offer."

[9.0] "They have been doing well despite the lack of much NJPW wrestlers of late and are building their small but talented roster, they need a few more names to support the company their Women's division. Their production seems to be holding then back, it seems quite cheap, and their commentary sound quality is abysmal. They are the biggest UK or maybe even European wrestling company but they still, they don't get that big of a crowd (their big shows at York Hall host 1, 000 people) and are not all that well known, I always like going to the RevPro show though and I think a lot of their wrestlers have a lot of upside, the more local guyd are great and constantly improving, and they have a healthy amount of imports of high quality, never going over board with them, one of my favourite wrestling companies."

You will find every side of wrestling here strong style technical highflying everything."

"By far my favourite UK promotion. They definitely need better cams, steady ones, more static ones around the venues would be a good call, but for the live shows.. man, you will NOT be let down. Always a healthy mix of local talent, UK big names and usually a few import talents of varying degrees of fame."
Mr Bungle wrote on 12.02.2022:
"Rev Pro is a company I've tried to get into on several occasions, but the production values are the worst I've seen in any modern-day Indie and the camera work is flat-out nauseating. The camera seems to be shaking constantly - to the point you'd think there was a never-ending earthquake going on inside the building - and I legitimately get a headache every time I attempt to watch a Rev Pro show. When OTT, wXw, PROGRESS, ICW, and many others are putting out beautiful-looking shows, Rev Pro's handheld shaky cam look just doesn't hold up in comparison. It's a shame as I really like some of the talent in Rev Pro and would love to become a fan, but if I can't even watch the matches without getting a headache, then something is very wrong."

Loved watching their weekly World of Pro Wrestling show on SKY and they've had a brilliant return from the pandemic lockdown. Sometimes accused of relying too much on oversees talent instead of their own, but I think this is no longer the case."

They have attached themselves to New Japan to such a major degree, it looks like they have become the UK feeder league for New Japan. Just bad. Not to mention, Andy Quildan is scum. The absolute worst promotion in the world with about one or if they are lucky two redeeming qualities."

[7.0] "Pretty good promotion. Good at building starts, however when they are able to book a big name they will normally put them over their own established stars. The best case for that is how the British Heavyweight Championship has been held by stars of New Japan since 2017. In fact the last wrestler to hold this championship that was not tied to New Japan at the time was Zack Sabre Jr. back in 2017 in his first reign so it lead some wrestlers to a dead end because if New Japan does not have an interest in them or if a wrestler has a wrestler in another Japanese promotion, they do not have a realistic chance of being champion. Also, with the champions primarily being New Japan wrestlers they are hardly available for the Cockpit show or the other smaller shows they run through out the year."

[6.0] "A peculiar hybrid of a promotion. On one side you have basically the standard British independent fare: you get the occasional promising talent like Michael Oku is right now, a sprinkling of good but not great matches and that's it. On the other you have basically NJPW Europe, with both the big stars like Tomohiro Ishii and Zack Sabre Jr and the Young Lions gaining experience abroad. This results in shows which are invariably a mixed bag in quality and feel: it's not necessarily bad, but often the contrast between undercard and main event is simply too much. The bad are what I can only call an annoying commentary, an amateurish on-demand service and a laughable "Women's Championship". All in all if you follow NJPW already there's not much need to bother with RevPro."

Of course, their production values on their on-demand service leaves more to be desired, as it is the main issue I have with this company. Been watching for a year now and they deliver on the big matches and shows, but again, the on-demand service is a major drawback."

[7.0] "RevPro are a tricky one to rate, they are the company I've been to the most UK shows for live and some of them have been incredible experiences, but they are a company of 2 halves. One half you have a rather scrappy UK indie scene that while solid can be unmemorable when compared to the other half, which is essentially a platform for New Japan talent to work in the UK, among the occasional indie darling. It's the second that really draws the crowds and gets the biggest pops. I don't want to put down the other UK side too much and they have had great matches and home grown talent, it's just you cannot shake the feeling you're waiting to get past them before you get to the "real" draws."

But there's no hook, storylines at times are very lacking and when they put their titles on NJPW wrestlers the titles disappear from cards for a while. Women's division is also booked really badly and is just a collection of random title matches"

They rely on njpw talent more than they should but at least they use them effectively. One of the top 5 UK promotions going right now"

[9.0] "Best UK promotion easily. As much as a pain as it is to get down to London (and pay twice the ticket price on Virgin trains! ) it's always a fun show in person, and they bring over NJPW stars people want to see as well as providing British stars as well. The match quality is incredible (see Keith Lee vs. Tomohiro Ishii 1 for a prime example) despite the booking being a bit suspect (Andy loves to put big WWE/NJPW names over at the expense of his homegrown stars) and it's always a great chance to meet your favourite NJPW guys since they don't come over here a lot with other promotions. On the subject of Andy Quildan though, he needs to stay off ring announcing, as he speaks 10 times slower than most humans. We actually had to leave halfway through Will Ospreay vs. Vader because the event started late (they always do) and he took about 10 mins to do the ring announcing as he seems to love the sound of his own voice. Overall though, cracking promotion, excellent in-ring action, and always a fun crowd at the York Hall."

The British Heavyweight title matches alone makes this a top promotion, they have had some insane main event titles matches and every time they host a big event they always have a few note worthy matches. If you are unfamiliar with RevPro you really do need to start watching. Look at the matchguide and just seeing who is against who makes you want to watch."

I'd like to see them better develop homegrown talents and implement a bit more storyline and emotional investment... but if all you want is a Big Fight Night then RPW at York Hall is pretty hard to beat. I think the On Demand service may open up a lot of avenues for improvement, with more coverage of lesser known athletes and potential for long form storylines to develop across the country."

They are certainly a good promotion and deserve a solid 7 in my book, but I wouldn't rate them as the top wrestling promotion in the world, though they may well be the best in Europe."

Also their agreement with NJPW is something that makes RPW feel really special and makes them more popular. If you don't believe me, just watch Nakamura RPW debut vs ZSJ. I give them 9/10 rating now, but if they keep it up, I will give them perfect 10. They are in my top 3 wrasslin companies in the world right now."

And Japan, whilst also pushing some young British talent, hats off to him. Working agreement with NJPW is a masterstroke and if RPW can continue to book such strong cards they could be England's answer to PWG! The only negative is that due to the nature of booking overseas talent the TV show does not live up to the live shows, because only the British guys are on it."
