"ECW Hardcore revolution is a fun game to play. The controls might take time to get used to but if you are familiar with WWF Warzone you'll figure it out fast. Roster is an allstar cast of ECW superstars. But whatever you do. Don't play the game boy version... Yeah.. the only good thing about that one is watching the pixelated pictures of the wrestlers on the character selection screen."

I remembering being so confused as a kid by all the random Wrestlers and the "Acclaim" Championship, I thought they were all real. All that was probably unnecessary, and obviously some of that must have been true, because the next game had... less random wrestlers. Yeah the pressing a million buttons to do one simple move was awkward, but you could do that in the other games also. But those looking for something new and fresh certainly did get any of that from this game."

[5.0] "Man I loved ECW back in day. Could you imagine how it feelt when I saw a ECW game in gaming store? It was a instant buy for me. But man this game was not what though it would be. It was more a WWF Attitude clone with ECW wrestlers & arenas. And to be honest, this game is exactly WWF Attitude but ECW license. This was back in the day very disappointing. The game engine was also not that good anymore at this time. You had to many better wrestling games (on PlayStation 1 WWF SmackDown 1&2 and WCW Nitro. And on Nintendo 64 WCW vs. NWO World Tour, WWF WrestleMania 2000 etc. ) to say this game was a revolution. (And not it was not... ) It was not awful, but also not great. It was a ok-decent game. But if you was a ECW mark you still could have you fun with this game."
