[5.0] "Well this is an awkward entry in the series, it feels like an exact replica of WWE 2K17 aside from the roster and MyCareer mode. Having no Showcase mode at all really hurts this game's replayability and universe mode can be unstable at times. Really a forgettable WWE game."

[7.0] "I do not want to exaggerate the valuation of this game since it is my first WWE 2K, so I will say the following: The roster is quite complete although some mythical wrestlers are missing, the store section (where you get wrestlers, arenas and titles) is pretty good although I have to say that I do not like anything that put so many "legends" of the WWE that perhaps for more than 25-30 years nothing or little is known about them, I think they could have put other wrestlers who stood out in the era of the 90s or early 2000s. However, the gameplay is good and has no hard bugs, some little thing and such but nothing exaggerated, good game in general that if you think well you can not complain much if you play it today. PS: I'm evaluating it in 2023, 5 years after its release."

WHY MAKE Ted DiBiase A NON-PLAYABLE WRESTLER? What a stupid decision, Dibiasi is a popular wrestler villain of the 80s era and making him an ordinary manager is a pointless move .. about the rest, a great game with beautiful graphics, the WWE Universe mode is a fairy tale, I still play it, the roster is amazing."
[8.0] "I have a soft spot for this game because it was the only game I was able to include my dream roster of every wrestler I wanted. The large roster consisted of legends that don't get a lot of inclusion on other WWE games, like The Rock & Roll Express, the Fabulous Freebirds, and The Von Erichs. I still occasionally break out my UNiverse mode in this game despite the servers having been taken down. Fun game, but not perfect."
[6.0] "It had a big improvement on the graphics, but the content was very sparse. It is very difficult to make a universe mode, because the roster is wide and you can only put 4 titles per show and one has to be tag or female, in addition to that sometimes you get to feel somewhat slow compared to the most current even so the implementation of the new graphics helped the game a lot. Career mode doesn't feel like one, it feels more like a way to achieve goals. The caws in the game feel very similar in addition to removing the Lightweight category, which does not help the cruiser division at all (recently implemented), I think the game is good, but it lacks a lot of content and a duty to update the modes."
[5.0] "This game is not bad but its not good either. 2K18 is the first 2K game to have the carry system while its a good concept, it feels slow whenever I try to slam my opponent onto the mat. It has a good roster with a huge variety of legends and current stars. The graphics look okay nothing to write home about it. MyCareer mode was fun for the first few minutes but then turned boring with its repetitiveness of you going backstage to talk to the producers to do your matches. Plus, a lot of moves and attire parts are locked by loot boxes which thankfully you do not have to pay real money to get them rather grind your way through for the in-game currency. Universe mode is again boring and does not have any exciting features about it. The creation suite is good but nothing too noteworthy. A decent game with some flaws."
[6.0] "Eins vorab. Es ist besser als WWE 2K17. Ja, besser als WWE 2K17. Genau, welches schon schlechter war als WWE 2K16. Doch das macht WWE 2K18 noch lange nicht zu einem guten WWE oder gar Wrestlingspiel. Denn auch WWE 2K18 krankt wie die Vorgänger an Bugs und unnötigen Rosterreduzierungen bei den Legenden. Auch dieses Spiel kommt in dieser Konsolengeneration nicht an WWE 2K16 ran. Einzig der Royal Rumble ist viel besser gemacht als in den Vorgängern. Neben dieser Verbesserung, wurde auch die Grafik verbessert. Ist jetzt nichts was vom Hocker reißt aber schon gut. Die lange Haare sehen im Spiel aber immer noch furchtbar aus."

[4.0] "The game isn't bad. It has a good roster, good graphics, various gamemodes such as the Universe or MyCareer modes, a decent creation suite... But it has so many bugs you just can't play it. It's the first WWE game since the PS2 era that has enough bugs to make me stop playing. I have hundreds of hours on record on every WWE game since WWE 2k14, but I hardly played more than 20 or 30 hours on this one, and I only played that much because I wanted to get the Platinum trophy since the online mode is finally decent. This game has so many bugs that WWE 2k19 will be the first I won't buy since WWF Just Bring It. Seriously, if you want to play it, download it illegally, you don't have to pay for people who just shit in a platter and hand it to you saying "50 bucks, plus 30 for ten more characters""
[8.0] "The latest installment of the yearly wrestling game Yukes makes and 2K publishes is the best PS4/Xbox One WWE game so far and here's why. In other modern WWE games, there are not many modes, terrible graphics and no replayability factor at all. The difference in this game is that the graphics are decent and you can tell who people are without looking at their name and that although still slightly lacking in modes, the modes available supply more fun and won't make the game be dead in weeks."
