[7.0] "The effort to give this title the prestige that it has was built on the back of Zack Sabre Jr.'s efforts as the title's inaugural reign and has given the organization a midcard title that feels like it's taken seriously (unlike the King of Pro Wrestling title, which was perhaps too gimmicky for the fans.) The title's 15 minute limit gives it a rules-based title that has been mostly held by league-level midcarders such as Matt Riddle, Jeff Cobb, and El Phantasmo."

[7.0] "This is a neat title. It provides fun matches with short time limits, but also means its usually gonna be a filler match. Zack's first reign was awesome, but he shouldn't have lost it to Tanahashi. I love Tana, but he didn't do much with the title asides set up a neat match with Riddle that no one cared about. Once Jeff Cobb got the belt, he had a good reign before Narita didn't do shit with it for a few months until ELP won it at WrestleKingdom 19 and so far it's neat with ELP holding open challenges."

[6.0] "This title has opportunity to be more but right now dont feel like it is better than a 7. Hopefully with ELP's current reign he can elevate the belt. Poor choices of champions have ruined the belt (Narita and Riddle and out of prime Tanahashi). Also it was a poor choice to have NJPW PRESIDENT Tanahashi dethrone Zack's first reign with the belt. Felt it was more of a vanity situation. and only for him to lose it to BRO Matt Riddle, the worst reign ever. At least Zack got rewarded later in the year after having to job to Tanahashi with the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. not a bad upgrade."

[8.0] "I think why I'm rating this title a little higher than it honestly should be mostly because of the look of the belt. It's unique and one of a kind, a little ridiculous in the best way possible, and it's one of my personal favorite belt designs at the current moment. That, and the gimmick for the belt is a lot of fun. Really, the only problem I have with this belt is some of the booking, particularly with Matt Riddle's pointless reign. But overall, I really like this belt."

[6.0] "WELP. Started out the best way possible with ZSJ as the first champion and giving him a solid, long reign with a time limit stipulation that suited him well. The loss to Tanahashi was a head scratcher that immediately tanked the belt's prestige for me given the quality of that particular match as a title changer, and that Tana's lone successful defense was comedy shlock. Why is this not being used for the younger guys?"

[5.0] "Oh look, it's another episode of "New Japan creates a belt with a clear purpose and then instantly forgets about it" ! This one was supposed to be defended in smaller town during the tours, was also supposed to be centered around the younger generation of wrestlers. The age of the first 3 champions: 36, 47 and 38. Zack Sabre Jr. as first champion wasn't that bad of a choice anyway because at least it was his first singles title in New Japan and the 15 minutes time limit fits him well (and that time limit is the only thing that makes this title stand out right now). As for the "defending the title in smaller towns" part...well, it never happened. Zack had A LOT of title defenses, none in smaller towns, sadly a lot of them felt pretty meaningless when the NJPW WORLD TV Championship was defended in ROH or AEW against worthless jobbers that most New Japan fans don't even know and won't even watch. It inflated the defense record a lot, and in Japan what is most important about a reign is the number of successful title defenses. Zack had 16 successful defenses, that's a lot, that's way too much for a first reign and it gives almost no chance for anyone to beat that record. Which in a way feels pretty lame since it's the first reign. Having these useless filler title defenses in shows that most New Japan fans don't watch didn't help at all and as a result it's difficult to see how that title can gain much value. Still it had some great title matches like Zack's defenses against Ishii, Shota or Cobb. Tanahashi didn't do much with it, lost it after one successful defense and now Matt Riddle, a wrestler not signed with New Japan, has the belt. It's difficult to see what the purpose of this title is supposed to be right now. At the same time I like the 15 minutes time limit, but with everything I've said about the actual booking of the belt, I can't rate it above 5, even if it can give some good matches here and there, it feels too directionless."

[5.0] "I love the belt because nothing else looks like it. It's also wonderfully ridiculous. Tanahashi's defence of the title at New Year's Dash was very much a comedy show, especially with the finish. Let the Ace have some fun with it."
InstantClassic12 wrote on 22.12.2023:
[8.0] "Having ZSJ as the only champion for now surely helps, as defenses have been plentiful and interesting, however the 15 minute time limit feels like something insurmountable to elevate this title, and I'm afraid that future champions won't be able to keep up the same level that Zack is bringing. I'd be glad to be wrong, but I feel like this title could have peaked very early and has not much room for improvement. However for now, 8 seems like a fair rating, it's still very early to tell."

[10.0] "This title looks promising, it could be a good replacement for the beloved IC title. It has a strong first champion in the form of ZSJ. I'm glad ZSJ is defending in places like ROH too. I am excited for what's next and it could be a good title that gets defended often. I really love the work ZSJ has put into this title and it really doesn't disappoint at all. For some reason, this is my favorite belt design, it's just so creative. UPDATE: It didn't disappoint and I'm enjoying Zack Sabre Jr's reign as the first champion. I also have a weird taste in belt designs I guess, but it's unique."

coppercowries wrote on 03.07.2023:
[8.0] "The design of this belt is the most obnoxious, most obvious way possible to convey what the function of this belt is. It has literal TVs and computers with play buttons on it. Solid gold squares with a horrible brown strap. But goddamn it do I love this belt already. It was tailor made for ZSJ. Defending often in multiple companies, never having a bad match, and the time limit is refreshing in a company prizing long championship matches. Gonna be hard to follow such a solid and entertaining first champion."
