[3.0] "The International Championship originated in the territorial era of what was then the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, created to give wrestlers something to compete for during international tours without risking major titles. Antonino Rocca is widely recognized as the first champion, though the exact date of his win (1948 or 1959) is disputed. The title disappeared after the formation of the WWWF in 1963 and was revived in 1982 through a partnership between WWF and NJPW. Wrestlers like Tatsumi Fujinami and Riki Choshu held the belt during this period, while the McMahons kinda forgot about it, but inconsistencies between promotions led to confusion over its lineage. The championship was ultimately abandoned in 1985 when the WWF-NJPW partnership ended. Ultimately, I can't call it adequate, as it didn't really do a good job being a belt for both the WWF and NJPW."

[4.0] "I think it's funny that this belt accidentally became a NJPW belt because, like so many things with 80s/90s WWF, Vince forgot about it. There's not a whole lot you can say about this beyond acknowledging it was a great vehicle for Riki Choshu vs. Tatsumi Fujinami."

[3.0] "What is with WWF or WWWF creating titles and sending the off to Japan or Mexico to forgotten. This title had a nice design and was defended on WWF television, you can even find a match for the belt on WWE's YouTube channel but over it was created for little to no reason"
