[9.0] "One of the greatest teams of all time for sure. These bruisers brought impact and athleticism with them wherever they went. You can almost always count on a good match with them. At first Rick was the better wrestler, but Scott really blossomed into something special by the end of their run. Their matches stand out against the other stuff from the time period as seriously more exciting in ring product. Their promos were good enough and better than most tag teams in WCW at the time. Easily the best team going in the early 90s. Tons of great matches, including their squashes and a bunch of stuff in Japan. My personal favorite matches are theirs against the Hart brothers and Luger and Sting. I also always loved when them and Harlem heat would get matched up in the later 90s though those matches don't hold up nearly as well against their best work from earlier in the decade. A for gimmick/look, B- on the mic, A for in-ring talent. Hard to think of a better team out there in the 90s."

"Perhaps one of the greatest teams of all time, hailing from Detroit Michigan. To name great matches and rivalries, I'm not only USA but also Japan, we'll be here all day."

[9.0] "Neither of them could cut promos when they were a team. My wife asked me if Rick Steiner was mentally challenged. She didn't mean it as a roast, she was genuinely asking if he had a handicap. Watch his promos, he does sound like he's special. Anyway, in the ring they were hard hitting and legitimately tough guys. They had a lot of great matches."

[8.0] "While Scott was good and Rick was mediocre, They managed to come together and make a legendary tag team, They were athletic, charismatic and managed to get over with the crowd wherever they went in the US or even Japan. The Steiners were absolutely amazing. They've held so much tag team gold from the likes of WWF, WCW, & NJPW. They largely broke up in Early '98 when Scott joined the nWo but managed to come back together around '99 to '01 with little to no fan fare. People just wanted Scott and Rick was washed."

Dynamax Dawn wrote on 03.03.2023:
[10.0] "You can make a case that they were the best tag team of the 90s and it would be an excellent case. They just went so hard! They were often too rough on enhancement talent which is never a good look (enhancement talent are there to make them look good the least they can do is not hurt the poor guys.) But there's a reason they were booked in all the top promotions at the time, as they kind were the definitive tag team at the time, and they still rank up there with the all time greats."

Rambonumber5 wrote on 22.07.2022:
"Best tag team in wrestling history! These two are extremely athletic and Scott so much fun on the microphone. Steiners did spots of today on kn the 90's and tag teams today owe to these two."

[10.0] "My top 3 Tag teams in no order is The Midnight Express (Lane/Eaton), Demolition (Eadie & Darsow), and THE STEINER BROTHERS. They offered the most watchable matches, with the most insane spots at the time. They kept (will keep) you 100% immersed and invested in every second. Their offense was a total game changer and The Frankensteiner was -->THE HOTTEST THING AT THE TIME<--. Outstanding chemistry with Doom, brought out the BEST of the Nasty Boys (you HAVE to watch their Halloween Havoc match before you die, preferably multiple times a year- every year) and they delivered the BEST squash matches. You have to see their top rope assisted bulldog & DDT's, completely insane and looked incredible. Their WWF run wasn't much to speak of, they did ok enough though... Mandatory viewing. you HAVE TO bear witness to The Steiner Brothers. Even if you don't like or care about what they did outside of the team (raises his hand) I can not recommend The Steiner Brothers enough. Tippy top tier tag team, it's get's "as good" but it doesn't get any better!"

TigerDiver wrote on 06.01.2022:
[10.0] "In their prime day, The Steiners were amongst one of the most awesomely known forces in all of pro wrestling. They would suplex the living piss out of their opponent and throw bombs everywhere they go. It's too sad they sort of self-destructed in the late 90s, but make no mistake about it, before that they were simply the best tag team of their generation."

I'll admit to being skeptical the first time I saw them, generally these big roided up freaks make for a pretty piss-poor in-ring performance, but these boys were insane. Seemed to be unintentionally good on the mic too."

LandonRyanWyatt wrote on 03.02.2019:

[8.0] "The Steiner Brothers were a great time for their time, and clearly connected with the fans. But it feels like a lot of their perceived greatness is simply down to the fact that they almost never lost rather than anything they actively did."
richwp01 wrote on 10.05.2017:
[10.0] "The Steiner Brothers are the best tag team of all time. NWA/WCW, IWGP, WWF Tag Team Champions. They had epic matches against the Road Warriors/Hell Raisers, Miracle Violence Connection, Money Inc, Nasty Boys, Arn Anderson and numerous partners, Sting and Luger, Numerous NJPW teams, Freebirds, Doom, Skyscrapers, Heavenly Bodies, Quebecers. They even had a short run in ECW (where Heyman kept the titles off of them and they worked mostly 6-man tags). The power and college background made them fantastic competitors. Being brothers made them the ultimate tag team for communication and teamwork."
DomoDaDude wrote on 26.12.2016:
[10.0] "There is only one tag team I'd say can match these two, at least in american wrestling, and that is Road Warriors. The Steiners are easily the greatest tag teams of all time when it comes to in ring ability, cohesiveness, traveling all around the world collecting titles in promotions when tag team wrestling was prominent. They can work and adapt to any style whether it's american or strong style, not to mention they had a ton of charisma. There is a reason why so many wrestlers have emulated them because they were that great. It's a shame the ratings here don't do them justice."
Villearreal92 wrote on 04.06.2016:
[10.0] "The Steiner Brothers are the epitome of Tag Team Wrestling, plain and simple. The two boys from Michigan were lethal forces between the ropes. They had the in ring charisma and presence to take them to the top, even without the best mic skills. And even when they did talk... man, they truly were their characters. Just two big, insane, tough S. O. B. 's that went out there to kick ass and win. Always entertaining, always electric, and always a treat."
Mizzle Assault Ant wrote on 18.05.2016:
[10.0] "Individually the Steiners have their flaws but I truly do love them as a tag team, in the early 90s I would say they are probably the best team on earth. Such explosive offense and ability. Unfortunately they are not the most professional team, but in terms of pure entertainment they are top notch pretty much every time."
DanTalksRasslin wrote on 11.02.2016:
[10.0] "Rick and Scott were certainly one of the elite tag teams of the 1990s with a great deal of success in WCW, WWF and NJPW. Always made for an exciting watch with their hard-hitting style that combined brawling, technical wrestling and fantastic teamwork, with Scott able to wow with some of his innovative high spots."
