Them being paired with Doc Hendrix is still very funny nearly 30 years later. Teenage me loved them but ahem Lita being with them might of played a considerable part in that. You can't knock their legacy though."

WWE tried to bring them back again a few years later but it just wasn't the same. Tag division was dead and Jeff was already a main event guy, whereas Matt was midcard at best. Did some good stuff in the indys after, didn't see too much of their TNA work but from the little bit I saw, it wasn't exactly something great. Aside from all of that though, they will go down in history as one of the best tag teams in their era of professional wrestling."

People wanted to be like the Hardy Boyz, everything from their entrance and music, their unique ring attire, to their high flying wrestling style. In recent years, the broken gimmick gave Matt Hardy a bit of the spotlight he didn't have while tagging with Jeff in WWE, and was a good way to reinvent the team."

[9.0] "When they first began making their names in the WWF, the Hardy brothers were good representatives of a youth movement in the company and their high-flying, daredevil ring style set them apart and, along with the Dudleys and Edge & Christian - with whom they had several classic TLC matches - helped to revive tag team wrestling in the mainstream and inspire the next generation of tag specialists. In the years since, both brothers - together and apart in singles action - have had varying degrees of success in several companies and have worked through personal issues, but in 2016 proved their versatility and ability to remain relevant with a (relatively) late-career reinventing of themselves through the creativity and insanity of the "Broken" gimmick."

[7.0] "The original spotfest team? The Hardys are a team I can enjoy in the right situation but they are far from perfect. They rely heavily on gimmicks to have a great match, especially Jeff, and they are not capable of that much in terms of character or mic work. Exciting and influential team in some ways but not one of my all time favorites."

[0.0] "The Hardy Boyz were great back in the day, but things change. Ignoring the unnecessary title wins in their late career, ignoring the spotfest that was almost their entire career, ignoring the constant going over the American Wolves, and ignoring the arrogance, these men still manage to disrespect the industry that made them millionaires. Jeff more so than Matt, but the point stands. 0/10"

[10.0] "Over the years, there have been many exciting high-flying tag teams all over the world. But sometimes what makes certain teams most memorable is when high flying becomes their trademark in their respective company. In WWE's case, in the late 90s/early 2000s, the Hardy Boyz were THE high-flying tag team in the company. While 2 Cool were smaller, and Edge and Christian took similar risks - neither of them did the Lucha Libre and Lucharesu moves that the Hardys were doing. Particularly what Jeff was doing. It made for exciting television. Their matches were very fast, full of excellent moves, and when they took part in Ladder and TLC matches, they often stole the show with whoever they were wrestling. Other tag teams have come after them, and are performing both single and double-team moves with more twists and rotations than the Hardys did. But the Hardys' legacy remains. In a time when everybody was hardcore, the Hardys were extreme."
