[9.0] "8.5/10 from me, Accomplishments - 7 (Legendary tag team), Charisma/Character Work - 8.5, In-Ring Chemistry - 9.5, Longevity - 10 and Move-Set - 9 = 8.75 rounded up to 9/10."

[10.0] "i coulda swore i rated them already... ANYWAY! The AWA was all but a corpse when The Midnight Rockers carried it to a watchable show there for a bit. Matches vs Badd Company (and later The Orient Express) are standing ovation type things. Changed the entire landscape of the WWF. Matches against The Conquistadores were so good they were turned into the main event for B show towns. Hatfield/McCoy barn burners with The Brain Busters are classics in total mayhem. Elevated The Powers of Pain to their best. Had fantastic matches against The Hart Foundation and would carry Crush to his best matches as a Demolition member. Caveats are few and far, the break up shattered my young heart. Its all HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

[8.0] "I think the Rockers success suffered because A: They were the small guys and Vince McMahon wasn't sold on small and fast guys carrying the company yet when he had a boner for the roided out super hero look and B: Their behind the scenes stuff, showing up drunk for shows, TWICE in a row for WrestleMania 5 and 6 might have hurt their ability for Vince to put trust in them. Right when they were peaking as a team, after the Harts and Demolition left, they self destructed and Shawn broke out on his own, proving that he was the lesser toxic member as Jannetty kept getting arrested and fired on and off for years afterwards. 1988-1991 was a pretty solid era for them but no tag belts when they mattered hurt them. Still think they should have gotten the belts from the Brain Busters in 1989 because they had been feuding for over a year at that point. Often relegated for bumping for the big teams and making the immobile monsters look like threats."

[6.0] "In a way, the Rockers were ahead of their time. But I just can't put them above some of our great tag teams historically. Their pre-WWF run was solid and they brought a lot of innovation to the WWF, but I just kind of view the Rockers as the platform to launch Shawn into the stratosphere."

[8.0] "Rockers were a good tag team. Better than most in the ring at the time. Obviously, their drawbacks were their backstage behavior and drug addiction. They were very charismatic and crowds loved them. Had a legendary breakup angle."

[8.0] "A dynamic team, with an excellent moveset they rapidly rose up the ranks and grabbed the AWA titles. They dropped those to Bad Company, after a solid program and then moved to the WWF, where they rose again. They stomped Los Conquistodors and took on bigger and better teams, getting the best of the Bolshevics, The Orient Express and Power & Glory. They could not grab the belts against Demolition or the Nasty Boys. They also struggled with the Hart Foundation, but split a program with the Powers of Pain and helped wind down the misplaced Brain Busters. They rallied for a strong program against Demolition with Crush. Always an entertaining mid card match, they remained just outside the spotlight until a losing streak saw them split in the infamous Barber Shop incident. Well crafted to the end."

[9.0] "Great tag team. Very exciting duo of two young promising wrestlers at the time that were always very exciting to watch. They were clearly the highlights during their run in the WWF alongside The Hart Foundation, and had many good matches even against teams with "lesser in-ring talent" (I hate that term, but you get what I mean with it). Had they lasted longer and been in more memorable feuds per se, I would easily give them a 10/10."

[9.0] "The Rockers were great. In an era in the WWF where it was full of massive steroid freaks having crap matches you could always rely on these two being entertaining. Why oh why did Shawn throw Marty through the barber shop window'"

[9.0] "Awesome team. Often dubbed as a 'RNR Express' ripoff', but I digress. They were able to come up with their own double team moves that got over big with the crowd, and were one of the best teams of the late 80s - early 90s."

[9.0] "One of the best tag teams of the late 80s. Excellent double team moves and could have good matches with the dullest tag teams."

[8.0] "Obviously a very iconic and influential team, and rightfully so but I do think they are somewhat overrated."

[7.0] "The Rockers were a great team and had a good run in the AWA. But their WWF run hurts them somewhat, because they were strictly midcard and were typically used to get over the big stiffs who couldn't work a lick."

[10.0] "Iconic and influential team, even today I am often wowed by what they came up with when I go back and watch them."
