New Blackjacks

"Two very talented wrestlers put together like this should reap positive rewards right? It's not as if the Blackjacks were super current in the wrestling memory of 1997, so this should've worked. It didn't unfortunately, though of any of the so-called "New" tag teams, I like these the best for the most part."

[3.0] "Of all the "New" tag team gimmicks, I hated them the least. Probably because the Black Jacks were from an era LONG before anybody watching the WWF in 1997 even remembered. The problem was these guys were relegated to jobbers and lost every big ppv match they had and they broke up less than a year later with Windham just being a total jobber for that pitiful NWA stable. Their careers picked up when Bradshaw joined up with Faarooq and Windham had one last hurrah in WCW with the tag belts with Curt Hennig."

[3.0] "Bradshaw's early career in the WWE wasn't very good as he went from one terrible gimmick to the other until he finally found his feet with Faarooq in the APA and this was another example where they would remake a team from history and it didn't get over at all despite teaming with Windam. He actually brought the attire back when he wrestled singles matches in 2002, but that didn't go anywhere either."
