[7.0] "As my first World Tag League, I came away pleasantly surprised. There were definitely plenty of below-average matches, but the tournament's best bouts more than made up for them, with Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr., Gabe Kidd & Yota Tsuji, and David Finlay & Hiromu Takahashi consistently delivering some of the tournament's highlights. Unfortunately, the House of Torture teams were the weakest part of the tournament, with the constant interference and shenanigans dragging down nearly every one of their matches."
[4.0] "A complete T shirt tournament if I'm honest. Started badly with a series of nothing matches , stayed relatively dull and struggled to keep my attention. It became a chore. The final match was just ok. Most teams, as usual with Tag League, were singles guys thrown together although I did like how the ex LIJ Hentai guys teamed up in odd pairings with the War Dogs guys."
[8.0] "I am very pleased with how this tournament ended, and it was a joy to get through, unlike last year's tournament which was a horror show to sit through. Block A got the worst of it, having both EVIL/Fale and Chase/Yujiro to ruin the nights. However, teams like War Dragons, Team 100, Bishamon and Gabe/Tsuji were absolutely awesome to watch. Even Boltin/Yano did good this year, having good matches with Bishamon, War Dragons and Tsuji/Gabe. Best Block A match: Tsuji/Gabe vs War Dragons. Block B was awesome, having TMDK, KOB, Yuya/Shota, United Empire, Hiromu/Finlay and Monster Sauce. Tanahashi's final tag league also took place, as he teamed with ELP. It's no shocker that Narita and SANADA were the Shit stains of the block, having the opposite of barn burners. Best Block B match: Shota/Yuya vs TMDK and Hiromu/Finlay (both were awesome matches)."
[8.0] "Easily the best world tag league in years, night in and night out it seemed like most of the teams actually gave a shit and were trying maybe besides the house of torture teams. This lead to there being some great matches throughout the block action all leading up to two banger semi final and then finals matches. Not to mention United Empires gradually turning heel being surprisingly compelling and well done whilst the war dogs/unaffiliated mashup teams being very entertaining and fun to watch. Just a solid tournament to end off the year."
