G1 Climax 1998

[8.0] "A really great tournament where the MVPs are easily Shinya Hashimoto and Satoshi Kojima. Man everyone past the first round is great though. Kazuo Yamazaki doesn't get enough credit for being great"

[8.0] "Pretty great knockout G1 that starts with some more middle-of-the-road matches, but into the 2nd round and beyond, it really starts to shine. This is mostly due to the performances from Shinya Hashimoto, who puts up three incredible matches in the later rounds with Tenryu, Kojima, and Yamazaki, respectively, and that makes it feel like an even more earned victory here."
