[10.0] "This tournament is a big reason to why WWE post Summerslam is really strong, because this tournament was filled with great competitors and great matches. The highlights were definitely Fenix/Penta, Fenix/Lee, Kid/Penta, but even the non-highlights were fun to watch. We obviously know what this tournament led to, a fantastic match between Penta and Reigns which turned Penta into an absolute megastar."
[7.0] "Other than the final, which was amazing, there were few stand out matches in this tournament. However, it filled the void of TV time in a rather lengthy gap between PLEs. Final was standout moment and one of the best Fed matches of the year. Nice to see a number of the lucha lads getting a look in here as well."
[7.0] "The major highlight of WWE's August was this tournament and I'm thrilled because, in addition to setting up a cool and original matchup against Reigns, it also helped showcase luchadors who aren't used to the WWE bubble and completely revitalized a guy like Fenix. Fenix vs. Penta and Fenix vs. Dragon Lee will go down as two of the best TV matches of the year on WWE programming."
[7.0] "Decent tournament. Penta winning was the obvious call since the very moment it was announced, but it didn't matter since it still meant AAA stars got exposure in front of a larger crowd. The matches were alright, with Fénix, Dragon Lee and Penta particularly delivering some of the best main roster matches WWE fans watched in weeks."
[10.0] "One of the best wwe tournaments in years. Matches all delivered especially rey fenix vs dragon Lee and rey fenix vs penta in final. So glad penta wons this he deserves this push, he killed it this year"
