[8.0] "I feel like if Shark Boy had wrestled with pretty much any other gimmick in TNA, he'd have been a multiple-time X-Division champion and possibly even a world title contender. I'm dead serious here. Shark Boy could fucking GO in the ring when he wanted to, it's just that his comedy gimmick never really incentivized extra workrate. That could a good thing or a bad thing, or neither, depending on how you look at it. He could very obviously connect with and work a crowd pretty easily, and his mic work during his Stone Cold parody run was pretty damn enjoyable and proved his above-average promo skills. Other than his average height and build, he had all the pieces for major success in pro wrestling, but chose to work the comedy route, which is totally fine. He still made his mark on pro wrestling in a positive way, and he even lucked his way into a cash settlement with Miramax films over gimmick infringement, so good for him, I guess. 7.5 rounded up."

[5.0] "Art Barr was definitely an amazing talent. Eddie got the frog splash from him which says a lot. He was also a fantastic heel and in a different era may have reached main event heights. He also plead guilty to raping a 19 year old female in 1989. That's not speculation, it's fact. That's partially why he was never going to get work in a bigger promotion. When he was hired by WCW in 1990, that charge followed him which meant fax machines and phone calls. If he were still alive he'd easily be a 0 but he's been dead for over 30 years."

All of his matches are suffering from the same problem: he is very monotonous in his offense. Even if his style is much grounded and not flashy, there is something off about it and his finisher is not a good one too. Hope he improves, because he has a lot of personality and has the potential to be NXT champion."

He's managed to show his MMA credentials with a fast, fluid style that mixes grappling and striking well, and his laid-back persona made him a regular highlight on TV."

That said, I'm interested to see how he'll do in AEW. Sadly, my expectations are for him to end up in the lower mid-card, but I hope I'm wrong."

[] "My favorite wrestler of all time :) I absolutely adore Jeff, and I feel like it's hard to find people who don't feel the same. There are very few matches of his that I would look at and firmly say "this is horrible" or "this is unwatchable", and both him as well as Matt have always been able to put on great shows. I love his gimmicks and how many different alter egos or characters he has had over the years compared to other wrestlers, and even if some people think they can be cringe, his more outlandish ones are always some of my favs."

[8.0] "Originally written on January 11, 2026: "Sami was always a very good and versatile wrestler. During his time in CZW, there wasn't a thing Sami couldn't do. He could do deathmatch (or hardcore, a term not often heard in CZW), he could do technical wrestling, he did it all. He participated in a Tournament of Death, but his forte was the Best of the Best. You know what atomic bombs are? The ones that fall from the sky and explode and destroy everything? That's what Sami Callihan was like in his prime in CZW: Iron Man Champion, Junior Heavyweight Champion, UVU Champion. His achievements speak for themselves, demonstrating his worth and versatility. That's my Sami Callihan." Edit: I have always appreciated Sami for his work in CZW, but lately I rewatched one of his matches and it wasn't as great as I remembered. Yes, he is very cool, but looking at his matches, I can say they are quite messy. He sought to portray his 'madness' in the ring with frantic movements, but because of that, he sacrificed a lot of precision and credibility. Whenever it was a Deathmatch (or Hardcore), he attacked like a wild animal, although in a Singles Match he can actually show his true skill. And that makes my rating drop from a 9.0 to an 8.0."

[0.0] "Yeah, this guy is just awful, both inside and outside the ring. He was the worst part of CZW in 2001; with his crude presence, an insufferably deep voice, and only basic skills, it's truly incredible that he was involved in the legendary Zandig/Lobo feud. And outside the ring, he's even worse, though I'm not sure how you can get any worse when you're already the absolute worst. A detestable wrestler and human being."

[10.0] "Such an incredibly important professional wrestler to me, and a damn good one at the same time. Nyla is charismatic, an incredible trash talker, and a fantastic brawler, though she has been steadily slowing down in the ring. She was a key part of the early rocky waters of the AEW Womens division, and a rock that held that division in place. On top of all that, she is the first transgender wrestler I saw on TV, and also one of the first to hold the AEW Womens World Championship. I adore Nyla, her matches are always fun and worth seeking out, as she doesn't get much TV time these days - so a focus to the indies has been her approach to wrestling."

[8.0] "(Possibly a biased rating here due to training alongside Kyri in the Dragon Pro Wrestling days) Kyri is a good wrestler who understands the overall mechanics of telling a story in the ring. Also the fact a previous review fell for his Aura Farming gimmick so hard is really showing how capable he is with a solid gimmick. He is intentionally acting in ways that subvert the concept of online 'Aura Farming' while being quite egotistical, poking fun at late Millennial & Gen Z type lingo and making people poke fun of him in the process. With some more time, it can really develop into something even better. Same with his in-ring abilities as I feel like he hasn't even scratched the surface of what he is truly capable of."

A solid technical wrestler, yes, but I felt there was something about him I didn't like... then he had his Slamboree match with Ultimo Dragon in 1997 and I started to pay attention. His first run in WWE was unremarkable (despite the greatest entrance song of all-time), his return to WCW in 1999 was a joke, however once he became William Regal in 2000, he ran straight with it. Some fantastic runs, and looking back at his 1993-1996 period in WCW, I see the fantastic wrestler he was. A man not afraid to to do anything to entertain an audience, and a rare breed of wrestler who can do any style flawlessly. He was set to win a World title in 2008 and unfortunately tainted himself in that... however he will be known as one of the best never to hold a World title."

Whatever talents she's had both in-ring and on the mic have not been properly showcased on the main roster in years. She also moves much slower now than she did a few years ago, leaving her matches feeling boring as well. I don't mind her and I have enjoyed some of her work but a lot of it falls pretty flat. I just think there's far, far more entertaining women in pro wrestling these days. As a matter of fact, her ring work is getting even slower as of late, somehow. I think the Deonna of 2021 had some really good work but she's clearly putting in about 20% effort these days, sadly."

His background in judo and all keeps him plausible as a concept, but clearly his look doesn't resonate with other people. His ceiling could be much higher, but he is closing in on crystalizing as a wrestler. Probably. I have watched every single dynamite and collision since he's been back from injury back in 2025, and I can't say I remember any of the 10 matches he was involved in, including one TNT title match versus Kevin Knight. Probably could go to a 6, especially if I were to negatively compare him to Orange Cassidy, but, benefit of the doubt, Hook's fine, could be good."

[8.0] "I have a weirdly high amount of stock invested in David Finlay. Over the past year or two years, he's improved dramatically as a wrestler. His technical skills pair really well with his smug & nonchalant heel persona, and that gave him far more credibility as the final Bullet Club leader as time went on. He definitely was thrust into the spotlight too early, and he never was able to live up to the sky-high standards of leading the most iconic faction of the past decade, but he flourished in 2025. Sadly, his booking in AEW sucks, but his skills give him a high ceiling that I don't think a lot of people properly recognize."

Yet wwe is high on her enough to give her 2 nxt reigns the knockouts title and is currently the us champion, wwe going for her instead of giulia, jordynne, blake, kiana, etc, is yet another example of wwe not seeing the big picture for the future. Bruno Sammartino was an incredible draw who carried the WWWF for years and helped establish the foundation for what would eventually become WWE. His strength, believable offense, larger-than-lif1.22e presence, and connection with the audience made him a legitimate superstar. His matches weren't always the most technically impressive or fast-paced, and his style could be repetitive, especially by modern standards. However, his ability to tell a story, generate emotion, and make fans genuinely believe in him was exceptional. His historic championship reigns and drawing power speak for themselves. I watched a good chunk the Y2J era of WWE. Besides the Chyna/Jarrett feud, I couldn't tell you anything about the quality of the matches he was in. I was rolling my eyes at this boob talking the ear off of everybody else. But I wasn't dismissing him. I wasn't looking to skip ahead. I was just wondering where he was going to go. Jericho's athleticism dropped off and went back up in recent years, but he's still that guy on the microphone in AEW. The Learning Tree was the biggest prank on the AEW fanbase and it's evident here too, despite the fact it was not all that much different than the JAS or The Inner Circle. Still, with my personal misgivings and missing some of his best matches, I'm sticking with an 8. EDIT: Based on some crowd reactions, we're entering another Jericho winter. [10.0] "I'm not taking personal life over my ratings, otherwise, he would be a minus 100 without any kind of debate. As for his works in front of a camera, the guy absolutly killed it. Mr. McMahon is the most important character of pro wrestling history, by far. He's everything a heel would dream to be. He's charismatic, he knows how to cut out a excellent promos, he's hatable on command, he can suffer from any kind of humiliations without losing any of his credibility. Now, of course, it was easier for Vince to keep being a dangerous threat since he was litteraly the boss of WWE at the time, so he had full control over every characters and scripts but still. Easier doesnt mean it was easy. Also, I dont forget that he's the reason wrestling became that popular in the first place. His legacy as a promoter is beyong imaginable. He's just that important. As a human being, I hope he'll rot in Hell though."

It's a shame too because he had a great look at one point with the clean hair cut and mustache with menacing presence but he could never parlay that into any success of any kind any where. Being part of the terrible Wyatt Family knock off basically killed his career."

Looking forward to anything happening stateside to convince me otherwise. EDIT: Not changing my rating just because sometimes people get older and they get injured more often. But I am disappointed to hear he's injured again."

She had an impressive combination of strength, athleticism, and charisma, and her spear was one of the better finishers in the women's division at the time. Her rivalry with AJ Lee was easily the highlight of her career and showed that she could deliver compelling matches and storylines when given the opportunity. While she wasn't the most technically polished wrestler and could be inconsistent in the ring, she improved considerably throughout her WWE run. Her Divas Championship reign was respectable, and I think she had the potential to accomplish more. A solid performer who deserves recognition for her contributions during a transitional period in women's wrestling."

His incredible physical presence, wild intensity, and unpredictable style made him feel like a legitimate threat every time he stepped into the ring. He understood how to create an atmosphere of danger and make even the simplest offense look devastating. His work in Japan was particularly impressive, and his influence on future generations of monster heels and hardcore wrestlers is undeniable. However, his matches could sometimes become repetitive, relying heavily on wild brawling, outside interference, and chaotic finishes rather than varied storytelling or technical wrestling. Despite those limitations, Brody was an exceptional attraction who possessed an aura that very few wrestlers have ever replicated. One of the greatest big-man brawlers of all time."

His work in TNA's X-Division, WWE's Cruiserweight Classic, and NJPW demonstrates his versatility and consistency. His biggest strengths are his creativity, precision, and ability to blend submission wrestling with fast-paced action. However, his character work, charisma, and promos have never consistently matched his in-ring talent, which limits his overall ceiling. While I wouldn't consider him an all-time great, he's absolutely one of the better cruiserweight and junior heavyweight wrestlers of his generation."

His greatest strength is his character work, as he's an outstanding heel who understands psychology, storytelling, and how to generate genuine crowd reactions. His promo ability is among the best in the business, and while he isn't the flashiest in-ring performer, he's technically sound, versatile, and knows how to make every match feel important. His rivalries with CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, and Adam Cole have demonstrated his ability to deliver both compelling stories and excellent matches. My biggest criticism is that some of his promos rely too heavily on cheap heat, and certain storylines have become overly theatrical or dragged on longer than necessary. Still, his charisma, versatility, and understanding of professional wrestling make him one of the defining talents of his generation. He's not quite a 10/10 yet, but he's certainly capable of reaching that level."

His combination of in-ring psychology, selling, storytelling, charisma, and microphone skills made him one of the most complete performers in wrestling history. His legendary rivalries with Ricky Steamboat, Terry Funk, Harley Race, and Sting produced some of the greatest matches and moments the business has ever seen. As the centerpiece of the Four Horsemen and a traveling world champion, Flair helped define an entire era of professional wrestling. His matches could occasionally become formulaic, and his later career was nowhere near as consistent as his prime. However, those shortcomings do little to diminish his extraordinary body of work. His longevity, influence, ability to elevate opponents, and contributions to professional wrestling make him deserving of a perfect rating."

I think he was better in the early 80's because it takes talent to get a US Marine gimmick over as a villian in that era. Then he did it again as an "Iraqi sympathizer" (el oh el) in 1990 and boy did I hate him as a little kid. In between that he was in GI Joe while working AWA as a babyface.
