He still needs a lot of work in the ring, but to me he seems the most promising among the Ozawa, Owada, Fujimura NOAH rookies. He might be a bit lacking in charisma compared to Owada, who seems to have a bit more fire, but Ozawa still remains my favourite of the two. I hope he fulfills his potential in NOAH in the coming years. EDIT: boy what a return from his excursion. I knew this guy has something the moment the NOAH crowd booed Kiyomiya in favor of him. Turned into a star overnight with the Kiyomiya match. Extremely charismatic (which I thought to be his biggest weakness when he was still a rookie), insanely athletic and his oddball character keeps you glued to the screen. His moveset is also very impressive. His lack of experience in constructing a match is evident, especially in NOAH's long main events. I believe that will come with time however. Compared to bland babyface Kiyomiya he's a breath of fresh air and pretty much the only reason to watch NOAH right now other than rookie Odashima and the KENTA return. NOAH please don't let the terrible Team 200X drag him down ok? |

He doesn't look out of place with the world title... the first he's ever won! He must be in contention for the most charismatic talent in company history though that might be too soon to say. He's saved the Team2000X faction from mediocrity singlehandedly and NOAH finally have a big heel in the company which will elevate the likes of Kiyomiya and even the older guys when the inevitable defense against Marufuji happens. My only gripe is that they keep having him lose in 6 man tags, let him be dominant. Finally, would have liked to see him carry the national title as well to see how that would have paid off instead of immediately vacating the belt, all that did was make the title seem worthless for whoever wins it next, does absolutely nothing for them. |

NOAH made a star in one night on new years and it was an awesome match, Kaito Kiyomiya did a great job in elevating Ozawa and the title win has me intrigued for his reign. I will definitely be keeping my eyes on Ozawa in 2025, he completely won me over with that performance he put on in Budokan. |
