"Jumpin' Joey Maggs was my favorite WCW jobber. You always knew he was going to lose, but it was always a good match whenever Joey was the guy across from the big name star."
[4.0] "Another decent enough WCW Saturday Night jobber. Had a short stint in the WWF. Slightly better than the preliminary bums the WWF would cart out back in the 80's. Pin him, pay him."
[4.0] "What a misnomer; "jumpin"? certainly not with that low center of gravity! I always pulled for poor Joey; wanting him to do SOMETHING, but usually he was just a punching bag. He took beatings marvelously and made everyone look great, one of those faces & names you recall fondly, a lovable loser...with a great big ol'arse on'im. Career Highlight: getting brutally decimated by Sid at Clash of the Champions 14 (Dixie Dynamite) 3.75 rounded up"
[4.0] "Low card wrestler in WCW, but wasn't bad in the ring. Didn't show much personality and even tried putting Teddy Long in his corner that at least made him a little more believable that he could win a few matches. He was a staple of WCW Saturday Night and would be somewhat competitive in his matches, and occasionally winning when added with Teddy."
[4.0] "Joey Maggs was a decent jobber. There was nothing about him that got your attention, yet, for some reason, he managed to stand out. Maybe it was the name."
[2.0] "Da er weder Carisma noch Ausstrahlung hatte, blieb er bei den meisten Fans wohl kaum in Erinnerung und wurde zurecht nur als Dauerjobber eingesetzt."
