He know basis and his ability pretty good, but he just cannot bring any emotion in his matches and when Muto tried made a star on him. He was not good in his role, to put it polite. In NOAH he didn't have many good matches 1 on 1, but he opened up like a team wrestler. Midcard is his comfort zone and because he know what he need to do, but he can be not all time in the match and more men fights on the ring, he can forget about emotions and doing what he can doing good enough. His team with Kitamiya showed his good sides and hide some cons. So, I wait his comeback from injury and I wanna believe that after injury he continue showing good midcard wrestling and some beatiful matches near people like Masa."
[8.0] "Maybe in the past, like during his Wrestle-1 days or 2021, he may not have been all that good of a wrestler and overpushed, but right now he is a pillar of the NOAH tag team division, putting on great matches, and I could see him being National Champion, as he has had great singles matches, like his incredible N1 match with Katsuhiko Nakajima."
[6.0] "Looking at the past reviews it sounds like this guy had a painful 2021. Well, in 2024, he's mostly just a good hand filling up the mid-card where needed in NOAH, and he's very good at it. It's clear to me he's probably capable of more, particularly when one sees his fantastic German suplxes, but I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't something he wants, necessarily."
[6.0] "Daiki Inaba is a perfectly fine mid carder in Noah. He has had some good matches in Noah (vs Kenoh and Mocchy) but doesn't stand out much besides being a former W-1 champion and Ace. Considering he was W-1 Champ I expected him to be much higher up the card and putting on more impressive performances but he's just been pretty good throughout his Noah tenure so far."
[5.0] "Daiki Inaba is not a bad wrestler; he is just kind of bland and boring. That said, I know some people view being boring as a bigger sin than being bad or sloppy. Inaba executes his fairly limited offense passably, just without any flare. He can be carried to a good match by a strong opponent, but he is probably not going to wow you."
[3.0] "I'll be honest with you: I knew Inaba very mediocrely before NOAH, but in NOAH I got a concrete and negative impression of him, unfortunately. I don't know what he was like in WRESTLE-1. The reason for that is simple. Before I found out that he would be playing his first match in NOAH, I read that he was the W-1 champion. I expected Kaito and Inaba to be a great match, well at least a good match since there were no spectators in the arena, but it turned out to be absolutely bad. I could criticize Kaito, but man, Inaba has absolutely zero skills. I'm still amazed how he won the main title of the Mutoh promotion! He's very boring, and his moveset looks like some kind of lion's moveset. Yes, the moves, that's not the main thing, but there's no way Inaba can draw to him, I've never empathized with him, cheered against him or cheered for him. He's supposed to stand out because no one knows him, but he's very, very inconspicuous and uninteresting. You see, he seems like a misunderstanding and I sincerely hope that he changes something about himself and I have at least some interest in watching him."
[4.0] "I'm sure Inaba had some great matches in an empty blockbusters while working for w-1 however I'm a NOAH guy and of the work I've seen he hasn't really impressed and looks like an ordinary joe schmoe indie wrestler his tights suck and hasn't really adapted to NOAH yet however I think a set of matches aside the more tenured talent (Fujita, Saito, Suzuki and even Ogawa) can help break him in and if that doesn't work just sacrifice him to kenoh. (jk I am excited for their upcoming match tho) I hope he assimilates by the end of the n-1"
