Definitely one of the better wrestlers at his height and I think it's nice that he can find himself on TV somewhat consistently; can especially put on some really fun matches when given a no DQ stipulation. It's great to see where he's at now considering where he was just a few years ago."
[4.0] "Big Bill is a pretty bad and generic powerhouse. I'll say he moves better than quite a few big men like him but he can't cut a promo and really has just been a channel changers for me. I hope he does something different eventually."

His moveset is somewhat limited, but he makes up for that in spades with his excellent physique and awesome charisma. He got super-over in the WWE with Enzo before some unfortunate alcohol issues found him expunged to the indies for a while, but his work as W. Morrisey in Impact was super solid stuff."

The Enzo & Cass stuff was actually pretty unique, a young guy who gets beat the shit out of him and a big guy that beats the shit out of everyone is not a common pairing in PW at all. And his AEW stuff has been quite decent overall. He is okay, fine. I can forgive him for the outside stuff, I guess it wasn't that gross."

Sure, he needs some work in-ring, but you can't blame that on him, he is 7 feet tall. I think his AEW run has been average, being paired with Jericho kinda held him and Bryan Keith back a little, but I hope he bounces back and soon becomes a singles champion for the first time in his career"

He's always had the size and presence, but his confidence and in-ring work feel a lot smoother now than they did back in his WWE days. Still not the most dynamic worker out there, but he plays his role well as a powerhouse and has found a solid groove in tag teams. Would love to see him in more meaningful singles storylines."

[7.0] "[6.9] It's absolutely insane to me how much Big Bill has improved over the last few years. He's gone from someone who's greatest claim to fame other than teaming with Simon Gotch's favorite walking abortion for the longest time was somehow stinking out the joint with Bryan Danielson to being a legitimately fun to watch big guy. He did suffer for a decent length of time by association with a Chris Jericho smack in the middle of Jericho doing far and away the worst work of his career, but in spite of that, he got over and is now doing really good teaming with Bryan Keith. Genuinely a really good redemption."

[1.0] "Big Cass was everything wrong with WWE's obsession with size over substance. Tall? Sure. Intimidating? Not really. He moved like a folding chair and cut promos like he just discovered vowels. His solo run after splitting from Enzo Amore was dead on arrival -- a charisma black hole with forced tough-guy energy and no ring IQ to back it up. WWE tried to sell him as a monster heel, but he couldn't wrestle a convincing match if his life depended on it. Even Daniel Bryan couldn't carry his sorry ass to anything passable -- and if Bryan Danielson can't get a decent match out of you, you don't belong on TV. And let's not forget the backstage attitude. Petty heat, ego issues, blowing chances left and right -- how do you mess up being 7 feet tall in Vince McMahon's playground? Yet Cass managed. Whether it was going off-script or just not having the damn talent, he tanked every opportunity handed to him. Big guy, bigger disappointment. Tall for nothing. A walking missed opportunity who proved height can't cover dead weight."

Big Bill isn't your classic big man, as he's more quick and explosive. It seems to be a trend for him to form tag teams where he's the powerhouse performing alongside a smaller, more agile partner. His physique has also become very impressive, making him look like a very big threat to his opponents."

A huge project for the WWE, not an incredible talent in the ring but an appearance that only detonates his horrible behavior to ruin everything but he has changed. He took time and redeemed himself in the eyes of all until his arrival at AEW. There he is far from being the best in the ring, on the microphone or otherwise but he is popular and is always very well used. A wrestler that I always like to see evolve in a team or solo, he is in the ideal role for him and AEW uses him very well."

He went from getting fired from WWE after a terrible singles run and suffering from some serious mental and addiction issues to being a beloved and really entertaining big man on the indies/AEW. He's had some really good, though short lived tag teams with the likes of Lee Moriarty and Ricky Starks and had a really good main event run in TNA. Though his recent gimmick with Jericho hasn't been that great, I'm still hopeful for Bill's future in AEW."

His team with Enzo Amore wasn't that bad, they were over and pretty charismatic but unfortunately before their break up they got stale. Fortunately, he had a second chance and now as Big Bill he's a good worker, he won't give you a 5 star classic but he does the work well and has a fun tag team with Ricky Starks."

[8.0] "10/7/23 - While I was originally surprised to see him leave a supposed high spot on Impact's card to start fresh in AEW, Big Bill as he's now known has only further proven he means business. On the back of looking great, talking great, & working great he's gone from just the big guy in a do-nothing heel stable to a tag team champion in a little over a year, turning in better and better performances. Big Bill's a revelation, and I suspect that if I make another comment on him in 2025 he'll have fully realized his potential. 2/21/22 - I want to give this dude the credit he's due: he deserves a Most Improved 2021-2022 award, if not at least being a frontrunner. Big Cass in NXT was just a dude there to make a hot tag and be tall until then. Big Cass on the WWE main roster was a lame duck monster heel that could barely be dragged to *** matches by the best professional wrestler in the world. Caz XL on the indies was every other ex-WWE midcarder that thinks they're hot shit. But W. Morrissey? W. Morrissey fucking rules. His work in Impact with the new name has been consistently good, with match after match that blows his prior work out of the water on top of getting his look and promos together and being able to work a crowd both heel and face. He's not having classics, not at all, but with a guy this big to have good matches consistently and connect with a crowd is a great asset for any company, and Impact has helped him come into his own. He could very easily become world championship material within a year, and that's a far cry from being the hot tag in a semi-comedy midcard act."

First off, he looks terrific nowadays. Intimidating presence. The Firm were a bit of a joke but his tag team with Lee Moriarty was solid. However, I really like some of the face offs he's had with other big dudes and his current tag team with Brian Cage is very enjoyable."

If I were to rate him as a wrestler back then, he'd get a 4. Since then, he has drastically improved. He has a great look, and is a rare example of a big man who is pretty good in the ring. If you were to tell me during the Enzo and Cass days that Cass would be the most successful, I would think you're insane. His current rating is way, way out of date. I'm really hoping it changes soon."

Has worked hard to get into great shape and I really like how he is portrayed in AEW. Has really improved his in ring ability. Can be a big star in the future, but people say that about like 30 different AEW guys. All he needs is a little bit of a push, and if I were Tony Khan, I'd give it to him. Dude is a stud."

His tag team with Enzo in WWE was comedy to me as a kid and should've definitely had a run with the tag straps. However his singles run in WWE and work outside WWE and AEW were not the best. If booked correctly could get a big push an maybe midcard belt? I can see me updating his rating up in the future. Keep up the good work Bill!"

During his WWE run, I would have given him a 3 or a 4 but his look, his promo and his in-ring work has improved so tremendously that he doesn't even need Enzo to carry him on the microphone anymore. He could easily have a great run as a top guy solo in WWE if he ever gets to return. Seriously one of the most impressive improvements I have ever seen in a wrestler and he is easily the best thing to come from Impact since Galloway. He is currently in my top 10 wrestlers outside of WWE after his Impact run."

He's a good worker in the ring but has a lack of stand out performances. He's got a great look but nothing that puts him above other giants in wrestling. Despite all this though, Morrissey remains as a constantly entertaining character. When he was Big Cass in NXT/WWE, his work with Enzo was nothing short of absolutely genius. They were over with the crowd and were constantly cheered, Morrissey's entertaining factor helping that. In iMPACT, Morrissey was a stand-out in the division and put on entertaining matches. Had he not been such an entertaining persona, he'd likely find himself at a 5.0. But as a wrestler with a large upside and massive entertainment potential, I feel he's earned 2 more points."

Morrissey AKA Big Cass has managed to utterly reinvent himself in Impact as a top heel. It would genuinely seem that Cass/Morrissey has reinvigorated himself and he deserves all the props for that, especially considering the shape he's in, knowing how he was doing only 3 years ago. I can't really judge him on people far smaller considering it's a lot easier to pull off that spotfest style that the crowd loves with less weight to throw around. Cass was the heavylifter of his tag team with Enzo, having to do the big comeback and basically most of the actual wrestling, considering Enzo was green as grass and could really only sell effectively (half the time anyway) but he was a confident talker in the ring, could have a basic and safe match, and could have worked as a lower card heel with some tuning-up. Unfortunately a combination of bad management, his own attitude problems and personal issues meant that he couldn't be relied upon to do this role, and now he's basically running the indies. Having heard what happened to him I hope he puts that behind him and works on himself, but as a wrestler he still needs a good bit of work. Naturally he's limited by the size being a issue but I'm confident he can and will get better as time goes on."
