[8.0] "She has a lot of potential. I've been a big fan since her match with Roxanne at the great American bash. She was very underutilized but now she's accidentally the NA champion which is kind of funny."
[3.0] "I don't get it. I really don't. She's just like Mickey from the Spirit Squad which isn't a compliment. No one liked them and Nic Nemeth is definitely an outlier. Her character is, "screams a lot with wide eyes". That's not particularly interesting to me. I will give credit to her athleticism. Still can't cut a promo though. She's very young so I'm sure I'll be revisiting this review in time but for right now when I watch NXT I skip through whatever her and Chase U for that matter are doing. I'm changing this from a 1 to a 0. Almost solely for her awful reaction to Chase U winning on the 6/25/24 episode of NXT. I don't know who came up with that gimmick but she should learn from George Costanza and do the opposite of everything she's doing now. As I said she's young and has room to grow so I feel confident that as the years go on I'll be raising her rating. I mean, it can't go any lower so only one way to go!"
[8.0] "She can definitely go in the ring and she's still really young but her character work really annoys me but I can give it a pass she deserves to be used more."
[8.0] "Super underutilized she is great in the ring and the character work is perfect. She has shown great potential but this grown ass woman gimmick is just bad, she desperately needs a new gimmick. (11/6/25)"
[10.0] "Probably the best female in-ring worker NXT has on their roster. No idea why she hasn't been pushed, but she has absolute star power and has the look of an action figure. I could easily see her being pulled up to the Smackdown brand to help expand the women's division. Every time she's on TV I can't help but watch. And she's only 22!"
[2.0] "The grown ass woman gimmick is so horrible and her mic work is incredibly cringe in a way even most rookies aren't. Like she's not wooden she's just hard to watch, her matches can be good and the kimura is a good finisher, but at the moment she's the worst part of a relatively deep NXT women's division"
[7.0] "The youngest women's wrestler in NXT, but also one of the best. Thea is very good, especially for someone that young. Her character work is very advanced."
[7.0] "Thea Hail stands out as one of the more intriguing women's prospects to come through WWE's developmental system in recent years. At just 21 years old and with only three years of experience, she's already showing real promise both in the ring and in character work. Her personality is distinct and engaging, though still a bit rough around the edges. There's clear potential, but it will take some time and refinement for her to fully lock into a persona that feels both authentic and consistently effective. In the ring, Thea continues to grow. She's increasingly technical and confident with her execution. Each match seems to add a new layer to her skill set, and that steady progression is exactly what you want to see in a developmental talent. If WWE doesn't rush her ascent and gives her the space to evolve naturally in NXT, she has the tools to become a reliable, and potentially standout, main roster talent in the coming years."
[5.0] "I think ChaseU may be the worst gimmick in NXT's history & anyone who is unfortunately saddled with a slot that involves them is already starting with a massive disadvantage. Despite Thea being somewhat annoying with her current gimmick, I can see some likability buried beneath all the over-the-top acting. She's also so young that she stands a chance of washing off the stink of ChaseU once that gimmick dies."
[4.0] "Quite honestly, I find it tedious at best. She reminds me of a more technical version of Dana Brooke: deceptively chaotic, screams non-stop, bad acting, lacks impact, tries too hard... Her correct in-ring doesn't make up for the messiness of her character, she lacks something to make her stand out."
[7.0] "A Future star, she is extremely underrated, really good in the ring, and one of the most charismatic women wrestlers, her match Vs Roxanne last year was among the best women matches in WWE. It's a shame that she is not being used anymore, she deserves better"
[8.0] "I think she's a future star, I'm grading her on a curve because of her age, but if she sticks with it she has the energy and it factor to make it big! Sometimes her acting is over the top but again, she's only 21, give her some time to grow, she's on the right path"
"Let Thea Hail wrestles as a heel, an unpredictable lunatic type of character. She is so entertaining and definitely catches the eyes of the audience."
[7.0] "Thea (and Andre Chase) were the most important Chase U members. And were the pillars that kept it afloat. She showed that she can hang in the ring, she showed that she could work a character from a crazed spitfire, to teasing a heel turn with Jacy, to a sympathetic face during the end. I loved her match and feud with Tiffany. It's very unfortunate how she's been sidelined and not used for close to 6 months now. I hope either they have plans to call her up (i mean if they calling up Jakara, Thea wrestles circles around her) or she/the writers are developing her next character. I def miss her being in the mix."
[7.0] "Thea was quite literally the backbone of Chase U! Her involvement w/ that group showcase her incredible character work on top of her solid in-ring ability. Hopefully she able to find her own avenue that'll lead to a blossoming career!"
[8.0] "An incredible girl, super agile in her movements, she has an incredible potential to move quickly and with varied movements that make her matches something super visual to see."
[7.0] "Huge firecracker of energy and has a great character that suits her. Amazingly talented for her age, just needs to get better at cutting promos"
[6.0] "Thea is a meme sensation now that she is fully Chase U for life. Very good basics and she has lots more to learn, her battles with Tiffany were underrated movie style matches. Funny, bubbly and got so many nice facials."
[5.0] "Thea Hail has fantastic potential, She's not the best in-ring wrestler but she's only 20 and that can improve with further polishing. She has an electric personality and I love her character work as apart of Chase U, especially her facial expressions and enthusiasm within her character. On top of that, she has a great look, they've tried making her appear more grown up and adult oriented which I think can only help her improve as she continues to grow and learn."
[7.0] "Thea Hail has grown on me as the hyperactive member of Chase U. I think she is pretty entertaining and good in the ring. I think her ceiling is high but she will have to separate from Chase U which is a developmental gimmick at best. They are doing an angle with Jacy Jane which can help her separate from them."
[7.0] "Whether you like her gimmick or not is a different story. But judging what she can do, she is a charismatic and enthusiastic figure who has shown in her program with Tiffany Stratton that she can go in the ring even if she has lots of room to improve as a 20 year old in just 2 years in the business. She seemingly is very willing to learn and I hope it pays dividends in the future."
[10.0] "At 19 years of age, that's very impressive when she found her own direction to success, huge respect for Thea Hail developing her own perspective and experience"
[7.0] "Love her enthusiasm and charisma. In-ring, she's still a work in progress, and we'll see how that turns out, but she's got the character aspect down."
[3.0] "Such an excruciatingly annoying gimmick. Makes me want to turn the TV off whenever she's on it. It's not Maddie's fault though. She's just a very young and inexperienced wrestler doing her best with what she's been given by NXT's clueless creative. Hopefully she'll get a better gimmick than "crackhead who's constantly screaming" in the future."
[3.0] "Nothing against her, but I don't see a future in the company. Not in this one and not in another. I hope I regret saying this and that she surprises me"
[7.0] "Naturally charismatic, very fun to watch, still very much a work in progress with a few awkward spots in matches but I think she has everything going for her as far as star power is concerned"
