[8.0] "So I just watched the 1998 Royal Rumble, this guy gets the number 3 slot and gets chucked STRAIGHT over by Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie. Looked into it a bit more, and he had some silly gimmicks in those dreaded days where creative was god awful, but take nothing away from his ability in the ring, and how he could work, as well as his willingness to do any promo or gimmick he was unfortunately sadled with"

[4.0] "Heck yah, Johnny Gunn! So sue me, I have a soft spot for guys who look like and are named akin to gay porn stars. His career outside of that run/gimmick was notably unnotable, he tanked. While I will always mildly recommend tag matches with Z-Man, if you fast forward past him or walk away to fold your socks - I wouldn't reprimand you. 4.25"

[4.0] "Saddled with a dumb gimmick in Salvatore Sincere which kinda looked like a dollar store Rick The Model Martel or something. He was decent in the ring. By the time he just started going by his real name Tom Brandi, he had not elevated beyond lower mid card jobber. Just another body."

[4.0] "Not a great worker, but nowhere near terrible. He's an adequate worker who can fit in the lower mid-card on any show for any promotion."

[6.0] "Such low ratings. In all his roles he was very acceptable in the ring. His mic skills were slightly below average but not horrible. I though he was a very good tag team specialist in WCW, and he played his roles the best he could in WWF."

[5.0] "average wrestler, who likely overachieved by wrestling on national tv as anything but a preliminary talent. Not bad by any means though"

[4.0] "Tom Brandi had a great physique and appeared in all three of the "Big 3" promotions in the '90s (as Johnny Gunn in WCW and ECW, and as Salvatore Sincere and then under his real name in the WWF). He seemed to lack the personality to really connect with audiences, though, and never stayed in any of those promotions very long nor ascended very high up the card; his only title accomplishment in the Big 3 was a brief run alongside Tommy Dreamer as ECW World Tag Champs in 1993. Was last seen in the WWF in 1998, but has remained regularly active on the indy scene ever since, and in recent years has mainly appeared under the hood as the Patriot (a gimmick which he has a dubious claim to)."

[3.0] "Muscular but generic looking. No real charisma, nothing special in the ring. Like most folks in the mid-90s, he got saddled with a lame gimmick (Sal Sincere) in his WWF run, but even when the Attitude era came around and they dropped the gimmick, let him use his real name, and put him in a program with Sable and Marc Mero, he didn't connect with the fans."

[9.0] "He has all the tools. Good workrate, great ring presence, great look, good on interviews. Doesn't need to be the Patriot. He is good on his own. Needs another chance in WWE because their roster is stale."
