[7.0] "I like Shannon. Between his WWE & TNA runs he had a nice long career. Nothing stands out as great work, but 3 Count and MFer work was very good. Heck, his initial ECW stuff with CM Punk was good for what was needed. Maybe should have gotten a cruiserweight championship run but he was part of a crowded roster. His TNA Run with Jesse Neal as Ink Inc wasn't bad either and they should have gotten a push there"

[8.0] "Personally, I love Shannon Moore, I was a huge Shannon Moore fan as a kid. Objectively, he's your typical WWE cruiserweight jobber, but he's not as lovable as Funaki, not as interesting as the Brooklyn Brawler and not as over as Heath Slater. I feel bad for Moore though, the guy was in the company for 8 years and never won a title or entered a rumble, he also barely won matches clean, the last match he won using a finisher in WWE was against Paul London in 2003. Ok but for real, he is a serious talent, I've never seen a bad match with him in it and he made almost every heavyweight wrestler on Smackdown at the time look like a million bucks. His chemistry in tag teams like the time he teamed with Matt Hardy and Jimmy Wang Yang were his career high points. They were the most entertaining moments of his career, and I would've enjoyed his ECW rebel gimmick if he actually won a match. To make a long story short, there's better cruiserweights than Shannon, but I've always liked him, I've always found him cool and will probably find him cool forever."

His work ranged from under average spot monkey to utterly forgettable just another body. In a way, I feel he perhaps got in the way of someone who deserved his opportunities more (ouch). 3.25"

[4.0] "I never found anything that Shannon Moore did to interest me. I even watched his TNA run and he was just weird and nothing more. ECW gimmick was the worst. In 2003, Paul Heyman tried to give him a chance to become a star on Smackdown after Matt Hardy jumped to Raw (before that, he was the punchball of the team). It did not work, because Moore did not show any charisma. Not really bad in the ring, but he is one of the cruiserweights that never got me hyped for anything. He missed his chances!"

[8.0] "Underrated, he deserved more. Had a great look, had a good moveset, never really botched anything in the ring. He wasn't that terrible on the mic. The only problem with him was bad timing. He joined WCW too late, in an era where cruiserweights weren't really the focus anymore. He joined WWF when the roster was BLOATED of talent so a young guy like him was never gonna cut it. He left TNA way too soon and joined WWECW at the worst possible moment, with ECW fans still there so his dark matches bombed pretty hard (he was supposed to be a babyface but got boo'd against CW Anderson so the bookers immediately gave up on him) and he obviously rejoined TNA way too late, in 2010 their roster was also full of top guys"

[10.0] "Anybody who really knows about professional wrestling NEEDS to be acknowledging the massive potential Shannon Moore once had; from the summer of 2005 (his initial WWE release) up until the spring of 2006 (before signing back with WWE. ) During this brief period, Shannon Moore was wrestling under the alias "Prince of Punk" and making a big name for himself; on both the independent circuit and TNA wrestling. Hell, he even got in the best shape of his career; leaving WWE at 192 lbs, reaching 224 lbs at the peak of his first (and most successful) TNA run. Moore made a solid transition from a dead-end cruiserweight wrestler up to a legitimate heavyweight wrestler; wrestling a heavyweight mat-grapple style. This is an accomplishment that many seem to forget. At the height of 5'8 (billed 5'10) the only wrestler who has accomplished this feat besides Shannon Moore, to my recollection would be the late Eddie Guerrero. Shannon Moore, as "Prince of Punk" made his debut on the January 1st, 2006 "New Years Special" edition of iMPACT! interrupting the NWA Tag Title main event bout between America's Most Wanted against AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. Prince of Punk closed the show delivering his Mooregasm finish onto AJ Styles, allowing AMW to retain their NWA Tag Team titles. Following the debut, Moore was immediately thrusted into a main event program against TNA's biggest homegrown star at that point in time; AJ Styles. This feud would culminate later that month, in the main event of the January 21st, 2006 edition of iMPACT! which saw Prince of Punk one-up AJ Styles in a street fight match. Emphasis: Shannon Moore defeated AJ Styles in the main event of iMPACT. This was a moment in time which encapsulated what a huge asset Prince of Punk could have been in TNA, and the loud pops/chants that Moore would receive anytime he showed up in the iMPACT! Zone proved it. It looked as if Prince of Punk was getting ready to receive the biggest push of his career, after 11 years of paying his dues. So, what went wrong: TNA management unfortunately stalled on offering Shannon Moore a guaranteed working contract, which led to Vince McMahon himself hearing about the waves Prince of Punk was making on iMPACT. WWE took advantage of a then dwindling Shannon Moore, and offered him a big-money contract to return to the big leagues. Shannon Moore sadly accepted this offer and was repackaged as "The Reject" (a spoof of his original "Prince of Punk" character) where he was ultimately used as a sacrificial lamb to get over the new, up and coming Ohio Valley Wrestling callup; CM Punk. And so, another career was killed before it barely even got started; courtesy of World Wrestling Entertainment. Shannon Moore never achieved anything worth mentioning in his career again. Had he stayed with TNA in 2006, I strongly believe we could've witnessed a future main-eventer; to the likeness of rivalling AJ Styles."

DanTalksRasslin wrote on 08.12.2015:
[6.0] "Trained by the Hardys, Moore is a solid enough cruiserweight wrestler who never quite had the level of personality to make it as a singles star. Nevertheless his skill set allowed him to put on good matches, and he especially shined when part of a team, which is typically where he found himself - from 3 Count in WCW (where he was part of some great multi-man matches against the Jung Dragons), to being Matt Hardy's underling in WWE, to Ink Inc. in TNA. Hasn't been seen on the national level since leaving TNA in 2012, though he has been semi-active on the Midwestern indies."
