[7.0] "After the most recent PPV I feel confident in bumping Rea up another point. She has been trying many new things, she's excelling as a heel, she's trying to be creative. She's honestly less afraid of the mic than Seri is, with her awkwardness coming off as a quirk rather than a lack of skill and her submissions and transitions are in equal in quality, and in some cases surpassing, people in Marigold who have been wrestling a lot longer. She still needs guidance for her promos, and she needs someone to teach her some standard phrases and poses to revert to in emergencies to cover up anything she may have forgotten or for when something unexpected happens. It would be a good idea to go over specific things she should be doing, including just how to stand with good posture, since she can be very fidgety. She is doing better with her non-ring work, and she has a new confidence in herself in general. She continues to be my favourite part of Marigold. Her character has evolved. When she first turned heel, she was just lashing out. Now she relishes in the violence and trying to gain the approval of her stablemates. Misa's joy after the "Darkness Summit" was the same joy she had when Rea first turned heel. I'm going to criticise her new costume a bit. I do like it and now is the perfect time for a new one. However, I'm not a fan of the new gloves, they just look ill-fitting rather than Edward Scissorhands blades. They're also impractical, which isn't something too shocking in the world of joshi and even in her own stable of Darkness Revolution, but I feel like Rea needs fewer things to get in the way in the event of things going south. She also has fewer colours in her outfit now, reducing the colour scheme from black and white to just black. The outfit itself is a lot nicer and the mixture of different materials and the shape of the gear itself all look good, however I think the lack of colour makes it seem rather plain. I like the wings/horns on the kneepads, but I would have liked her to add her logo to the other kneepad and to add some sort of design to the kickpads. She still has her Jojo belt, it's usage as a weapon becoming regular as she's become more heelish, now using it for chokes as well as strikes. I would like Rea and Nozaki to get another chance at the tag championships this year. I believed several times that Rea had the match in the bag, obviously helped out by Misa's great selling, during the Darkness Summit and I think a short run with the belts would be a nice reward for her improvement and would help get her confidence up by forcing her to become a regular part of programming. Demiglitch wrote on 04.10.2025: [6.0] Rea has improved immensely over the past few months. The tournament was especially helpful to giving her more of a character and giving her a direction with her gimmick. She was endearing before and after her heel turn and alliance with Darkness Revolution gave her some fun allies and people to assist her. She tries to play to her strengths of submissions and mat wrestling, and is better for it. She is still incredibly awkward when walking or looking at the camera, but it comes across as funny and cute. I feel like Marigold trusts her more now, she's worked more matches this year than all her previous years combined. From an emotional standpoint, her awkward limbs and incredibly expressive face are great for crowd work and even though she is a heel, the crowd loves her. You can tell she is delighted by this because she often smiles, both out of nervousness and joy, when she should generally be stoic as her gimmick might entail. She sometimes botches but does try her best to recover, and I don't recall any times she has done so in a dangerous way. She has become very good at go-behinds and move transitions. I can't imagine Darkness Revolution without her now. While her awkwardness is endearing, she does need to work on keeping a straight face, keeping eye contact with the crowd or wrestlers instead of averting her gaze and hitting her poses at the correct time. She is getting better at those things, but is not entirely successful yet. She still needs more work on running the ropes (she should try to hit them harder and should try to get to a faster speed sooner), running manoeuvres in general without slowing down (for example, she sometimes slows down to jump before a running dropkick) and might like to work on her diving skills for the sake of being more well-rounded.I don't want her to become a high-flyer, but I can recall two points where she went to the top rope and was very skittish about it, with one time balking entirely. I would also like her to work on her tag matches. She does them a fair bit, but she sometimes ends up lost, especially in matches with 3vs3 or 4vs4 combatants. Her teammates are veterans and keep her safe and focused, but my concern is for what happens after Darkness Revolution. She currently loses a lot and its, again, endearing. Like Colin Delaney, like Mikey Whipwreck, she loses a lot, but does so with personality. I enjoy her a lot and she is my favourite member of the Marigold roster. If she keeps trying as hard as she has been and tries to be braver, I think she will become a great wrestler."
[9.0] "Rea Seto has quietly put together a strong run this year. Her technical growth is clear, she's confident in her transitions and submissions, and her workrate has noticeably improved since her earlier matches. Her quirky charisma and facial expressions help her stand out in a stacked roster."
[8.0] "Rea Marumori is a good hand that's apart of Sendai, she has a good look and is passionate about her character. Glad to see that she's improved since the last time I reviewed her on here. Let's see if she can keep the good work going."
[8.0] "She's improved so much over the last year, and has shown no signs of slowing down that development. Incredible at limb work, always adding new wrinkles to her offense."
[9.0] "The easy most improved wrestler of 2025 for me. She went from bottom of the card squashes to being a vital piece to the only heel group in Marigold. Her in-ring work can be spotty but her limb work is phenomenal and unique. She finds new ways to torture limbs every new match. A much weaker tag wrestler than singles wrestler which really shined through the dreamstar. Probably the only technician based wrestler in Marigold, her interesting style, look, and character make her a must watch for me. I love Rea Seto and I will be back to update this rating to a 10 when she is fully fledged into one of the best in the world"
[8.0] "A vast improvement in the past year, she's now a solid hand in the midcard and I could see her as a champion within the next year. Really good to see her step up, has a unique look and a lot of potential,"
[9.0] "Rea joining Darkness Revolution says very much as she can finally take a strong path being a heel. She is constantly shaping up both her in-ring skills and character play. Huge expectations from her in the near future. I'm giving her a 9 as of now because her development looks really imminent."
[6.0] "She is a good, young wrestler with a future ahead of her. She has a lot of room for growth, but I think she will get there. She is doing well in Marigold!"
[7.0] "This year, Rea Seto has grown enough to be considered a decent midcard player in the Marigold roster. She brings unique and interesting elements to tag matches and is very solid in singles (as long as the full weight of the match doesn't fall entirely on her shoulders). She is a very charismatic and technically sound performer. Her holds and moves are fluid, and she handles transitions with ease (something many rookies tend to struggle with). She often flies under the radar amidst the crowded mid to upper card scene, but little by little, with her submissions and wild expressions, she's carving out a place for herself in Marigold."
[4.0] "She's not very good in ring but she is a rookie and needs more experience, I think a lack of confidence is not helping her overall work as she looks absolutely terrified from start to finish."
[4.0] "Seto has a unique charisma that comes across not just in meme worthy faces ringside, but in the ring as she's working as well. This gives her a huge head start early in her career. Marigold has a good class of rookies"
