[6.0] "When he was in NJPW, he had tons of upside. Now it seems he didn't go up as far as I thought he could."

[3.0] "Not interesting at all. His latest storyline as a heel going for the title with Trick makes no sense and he does not have the ability or personality to make it work outside the ring.. And inside he is average at best."

[0.0] "I don't care about anything he does and whenever he is on tv its very missable and skippable he needs to be kept off tv I do not agree with this rating I find him extremely boring to watch and listen too"

[6.0] "He's good in the ring but i don't care about him sadly. Don't know why they changed his gimmick; it was fine."

[7.0] "He's grown on me throughout his first year in NXT. I like his presentation and how he reps his native culture. His moveset is pretty solid and his promos are decent so far. I don't see main event potential yet but he can be a solid midcarder."

[6.0] "Not really familiar with his work as a young lion so i can only comment on his NXT stint so far, his offense is serviceable at best but the character is very cool. Hopefully he can show more passion and intensity going forward."

[5.0] "Since he arrived in NXT he hasn't done much and I personally thought that a lot of his offense looked better when he wrestled in STRONG. Hope he can bounce back though, since there's potential to be around the NA title picture in my opinion. Also a gimmick change/heel turn might work with him since I feel like he has more of a heelish look."

[7.0] "He could have become New Japan's next megastar and somehow decided to shoot himself in the foot instead. So weird."

[6.0] "Liked Fredricks back when he started as a young lion with Coughlin and Connors but after a while I became more fond of the last two than of Fredricks. Fredricks or Eddy Thorpe has a decent look and can wrestle but I feel like he has grown the least out of his class. Once he graduated from being a young lion during the pandemic it felt to me that his style didnt fit in with NJPW much. He will probably fit in well in WWE as that style really seems to be his fit."

[10.0] "Eddy Thorpe is great, he is a mix of Japanese style and American style. I can't wait until he gets a push in NXT."

[6.0] "You know, I like Karl's gimmick and personality inside the ring, but to be honest, you can tell why guys like Clark, DKC and Coughlin were called back to Japan to once again perform and not Karl. His passion for the sport isn't like the others, and by dividing his time as a wrestler and DJ, focusing on this latter way more than the other, he simply can't evolve anymore. Then he thinks he can complain on social media about not being called to participate in the G1 since Clark was in BOSJ, and tried to pull an Ibushi and call out the company for his shortcomings in the lamest way ever. I appreciate his efforts but he's no Ibushi, so see you bye! Hope he finds luck going anywhere else. Edit: Now he's in WWE as Eddy Thorpe and he's bald...nevermind the last part."

[7.0] "Karl Fredericks is a relly good young lion and the best young lion gaijin with Clark so it's a 7 for the moment."

[5.0] "Karl is okay. I feel the other young lions have more to offer but he does a good job in his matches. Nothing mind blowing but isn? t bad."

[8.0] "Karl Fredericks is really good, and in this Young Lion, I can see maybe the future gaijin who will be high in the NJPW cards. We'll see."

[6.0] "As far as young lions go, Fredericks certainly shows potential but definitely still needs time to improve his basics, develop a unique style, and flesh out his character. So far he has a good look and definitely seems motivated to become a star. Looking forward to whatever lies in the future of his career."
