Somehow he made Shorty G work when Vince was out to humiliate him. He managed to make it past being a comedy jobber, to a legitimate contender for the Tag Team and Intercontinental gold. He is a guy who should have been a singles champion by now. He should be a singles champion in the first half of 2025 or it will be a major fumble."

Before started tagging with Jason Jordan in American Alpha winning tag team championships on NXT & Smackdown Live, he trained for a full year to clear his pro wrestling style away from his amateur wrestling style. In 2002-6 he coughed up a lot of self profile and kindred joy as Chas Betts, battled with his own trainer Arik Cannon. Soon followed many tag team partners later, counting 3 RAW tag team championships in his abridgement career. Then singles opportunities for the intercontinental title in 2023 & 2024 against Gunther made the most impact in his stock dispute his attitude becoming very dickish plus ponderous. Yes he is a damn better bad guy but his strongest is just going toe to toe on the mat. His day will come but his reign of terror far as being a bully arrived in tenfold. Great athlete and many more decent qualities, future hall of famer that goes without saying."

[9.0] "He deserves to be a future Hall of Famer if and only if he gets the right pushes in the following years, he has all, one of the greatest technical base, mic work, in-ring act but still no trigger is being pulled to push him forward, he deserves to become one of the all time greats but currently, rating him 9 is a bit much but I'll do it for the sake of my hopes on him."

[7.0] "Kurt Angle comparisons often come up when discussing Chad Gable - it just seems Kurt Angle did everything better than him. I'll be using Bret Hart's unofficial system of rating wrestlers by look, promo, and in-ring ability when elevating Alpha Academy's leader. Chad Gable obviously has the look of a wrestler, because he's always been a wrestler. There's no doubting his toughness and this helps him get over in terms of looks. However, he is a bit small in stature which I believe hurt his push as he tried to dethrone Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship, as WWE favors larger wrestlers. Moving on to promo skills, his mic work often falls flat as he often begins by forcing one of his catch phrases that aren't truly catchy or entertaining. "Shoosh" and "Thank you" don't do much for me. Luckily, Gable has been rounding out his mic work a bit during his feud with Sami Zayn as he is getting more personal, often talking about his family and how meaningful winning a championship would be. Lastly, Chad has great ring skills, but like everything else, I feel like Kurt Angle already did everything he does, but a bit better. Angle's moonsault was prettier while his ankle lock was more psychotic. Angle was great at making an audience laugh with his All-American good boy gimmick, yet could transform into a total monster in the ring. I hate to compare Gable to another wrestler, but it's just difficult not to when you see someone who has a similar background doing similar moves while wearing similar ring gear. Regardless, Chad Gable matches are always some of the best on a WWE card, and I look forward to seeing him carve out a more unique character during his 2024 heel turn."

It is criminal that as of right now that he is only being used as cannon fodder and losing week after week! Let him do what he is amazing at and let nature take its course. He really deserves a push and at least the US/IC Title for the work he has done."
