[5.0] "Tatsuhito Takaiwa has been wrestling well before I was born and he has done so much to the industry and he was better at some point but has been in a decline for a very long time and hasn't had any good performances For around four years ago"

"Takaiwa is still one of my favourite junior wrestlers, for breaking the mold of the junior heavyweight by being a brutal, hard-hitting power wrestler in a division of aerial brilliance that was the 1990s New Japan junior division. He had great work in singles and tag matches, for New Japan and Zero-One afterwards, it was even cool to see him at Jushin Liger's retirement match at WK14 night one."

[10.0] "Tatsuhito Takaiwa is probably one of the best Jr. Heavyweights of all time. He's an absolute powerhouse who's stiff as hell with some of the coolest moves I've ever seen. He's not flashy but he's bombastic, he's kind of like Tomohiro Ishii in a way not discounting the fact they were both trained by Riki Choshu. Takaiwa is just a brute force little monster who's had a long career and is still awesome even in the Ganbare Pro shows. I hope more people check him out aside from that All Timer with Marufuji, Takaiwa's just so awesome."

[1.0] "Hate the guy. Did nothing but throw bombs, worked the wrong kind of stiff. Had a moveset that led to overblown kickout-fests. Never grasped singles match psychology. Gave a guy permanent brain damage, too!"

[9.0] "I never saw him in his prime, but he was a great first champ for Ganbare. He gives off the grizzled old vet who's seen and done everything vibe better than almost anyone."
