[10.0] "I have never considered Amazing Red to be a top talent but watching his current work is just a joy to watch. The man definitely has wasted his talent working for TNA and them not being able to use him correctly"

[8.0] "Amazing Red was one of my favorites as a kid and one of the main reasons I got into TNA in the first place. I still remember those old TNA commercials trying to get people to order the PPVs, showing the X-Division guys and Red immediately stood out. His moves just looked different from anything you were seeing in WWE at the time. The Code Red felt completely new and blew my mind back then. Going back and watching him now, he really was ahead of his time. You can see his influence pretty clearly when you look at modern high-flyers and how that style evolved. He wasn't perfect. He could be a little sloppy and botch-heavy at times, and his promo skills were basically nonexistent. On top of that, injuries really hurt his momentum and kept him from having a longer, more consistent run. But even with that, he was just so fun to watch and such a bright spot in those early TNA years."

[8.0] "one of the premier high flyers of the 2000s, red was easily one of the most fun people to watch in the x-division for someone who never got to do much that was all too story driven until house of glory, where he finally started to show the total package of mic work and charisma that probably would've made him a star if he had it back in 2003"

[10.0] "One of the most overlooked high flyers Amazing Red truly transcended generations and is still going strong at 42. His match with Ospreay was a full circle student vs teacher moment that was hard to beat. Red has charisma and mic skills that developed over time and did an amazing job at both especially in his full time House of Glory Stint."

[8.0] "Amazing Red was never the most charismatic guy but he certainly was one of the best cruiserweight workers of his era. His work rate was great in TNA and even now he is still having good matches."

[8.0] "Red's flaws are pretty obvious. Very small, not a ton of charisma, didn't have much going for him other than highspots, and injuries definitely shortened the prime of his career. But I'm still rating him highly because, at his prime in TNA, he was just incredibly entertaining to watch in the ring. He might not have been one of the best high flyers of all time, but he was one of the most fun to watch."

Ma Stump Puller wrote on 16.08.2020:
[6.0] "Red was very much over in the early days of TNA with his high flying offence, but outside of that, there's really nothing that sticks out. His actual offence outside of flips was pretty all over the place and didn't look convincing, and his complete lack of charisma drags him down. The consistent need to hide these flaws with high spots was likely what massively injured him: his relatively small size and stature likely didn't help that either. When you compare other high flyers who he was around with back then (AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, etc) even his acrobatic stuff doesn't really astound."

[3.0] "The Amazing Red could do some amazing flips and dives, but he didn't have a lick of psychology, and his actual wrestling talent was non-existent. To be involved in a match that was any good, Red needed to be in there with somebody who could hold things together."
InactiveGuru wrote on 31.05.2018:
[8.0] "Back in his prime Amazing Red was one of the best high flyers around and could really wow audiences with his incredible acrobatic offense. He can still go now don't get me wrong but back then he was really something to see."
Blood Pump wrote on 09.05.2017:
[4.0] "Very fun to watch if you're just looking for crazy high flying action but then again if that's your desire half the Dragon Gate locker room'll do you better then this guy. No psychology, no real believable offense in what he does. Not really too good at getting the crowd behind him, but he was relatively noteworthy back in his early days for his innovative aerial work."
Titansrevenger wrote on 03.12.2016:
[4.0] "What was so amazing about this guy? He was a glorified jobber as far as I am concerned. Way to small to be taken seriously. Sure he had entertaining moves that were very acrobatic and innovative but he did them without the sizzle of a Rey Mysterio. His offense generally looked weak by comparison to everyone else he went up against. I guess that is why he lost more often then not. No charisma, no personality or mic skills add to that poor in ring psychology and selling. This all leads to an overall disappointing performer."
