[7.0] "Aiden English was never the flashiest guy on the card, but he was solid in just about everything he did. His time in WWE as part of The Vaudevillains was underrated, and his mic skills as "The Drama King" were unique and theatrical in a way most didn't fully appreciate. He's transitioned well into commentary too--smart, articulate, and insightful. Not a main eventer, but definitely brought something different to the table throughout his career."

[5.0] "As a member of the Vaudevillians, decent. As a commentator, meh. He has the same inflection and energy as someone like, well, Tom Hannifan. Both sound robotic even when calling big spots."

[7.0] "English is a unique figure in modern wrestling who carved out a niche through creativity and performance rather than brute force or traditional athleticism. Initially part of the Vaudevillains tag team in NXT, he stood out with his theatrical style, old-timey persona, and commitment to character. While the gimmick had a cult appeal, it did not translate well to the main roster and was eventually dropped, forcing Rehwoldt to reinvent himself. His most memorable run came alongside Rusev, where his operatic "Rusev Day" introductions unexpectedly caught fire with fans. That organic popularity showcased his charisma and timing, turning what started as comic relief into one of the most over acts of that period. Unfortunately, WWE failed to capitalize on the momentum, and Rehwoldt was shuffled back into irrelevance despite clear fan support. Since leaving WWE, he has transitioned into commentary and appearances in Impact Wrestling, proving himself as a strong voice and knowledgeable presence behind the mic. He may never have reached the heights of a top-tier performer, but Rehwoldt has shown versatility, creativity, and a deep appreciation for wrestling as performance art. He was underutilized as a wrestler, but he continues to contribute meaningfully to the industry in other roles"

[6.0] "Pretty good wrestler with some good mic skills. However he never blew me away. I enjoyed the Vaudevillains and Rusev Day stuff, but he didn't strike me as anything stand out in the ring."

[7.0] "I've never been that into Rehwoldt as a wrestler outside of the Vaudevillians run in NXT but he was a great manager for Rusev and has grown into a pretty solid color commentator in TNA."

[8.0] "Great potential, never been used sadly. Great tag team career with the Vaudevilains, and then the awesome Rusev Day (who definitely should have win the tag title at some point). As a commentator, he does a great job at TNA, charismatic and nice voice."

[8.0] "The guy have potential, good mic skills also decent in the ring, the rusev day thing worked mostfully for Aiden's charisma, unfortunatelly looks like he is like more a commentator than a wrestler."

[7.0] "WWE let English's potential be squandered in two great tag teams. The Vaudevillains were a good throwback team in NXT but crashed and burned on the main roster like most callups. Rusev Day let English shine with his voice mic skills and good in ring abilities. The they ruin it because it was getting over more than they wanted it. He was always better as a tag guy than a singles competitor. His commentary was also really good."

[7.0] "An incredibly talented wrestler. He has everything: a good ring skill, good look, he is convincing on the mic (partly he owes this to his unforgettable voice, which later made him an interesting commentator). I was always a big fan of Vaudevillains, but after the team broke up, I was convinced that Aiden is very good as solo performer too."

[5.0] "A very good manager but a fairly average wrestler. His Tag Team run at NXT was fun but on the main roster it was a run to forget."

[6.0] "Guy's just not very good overall. He's a good hand and can talk, but his ring work just isn't anything worth a damn in singles, and in tags he's consistently known as a supporting act, not the main guy if that makes any sense. Vaudevillains were a fun stint but it wasn't destined to be anything near the main event, through they were a solid mid-card act for the time and clearly had a niche going for them. He's just not intimidating in a wrestling context: he's tall but awkwardly thin: making it hard to believe he could convincingly beat up people who are way bigger and stronger, making him lead more of a manager role than a wrestling one, which I feel his talent really lies in."

[6.0] "While he isn't anything super special as a wrestler, he is a talented manager who adapts to the roll that he needs to fit in."

[8.0] "He could have been the next Nigel McGuinness in commentating. His voice, his analysis of the match was on the level of the NXT commentators but sadly he was released too soon."

[6.0] "His in-ring work has never been impressive at all but his recent time spent with Rusev has been a solid showcase of his good mic skills."

[4.0] "I've now seen Aiden wearing multiple hats during his time in WWE & I've not really ever been impressed with what he's brought to the table. His singing gimmick felt too 1995... his act as a Vaudevillian was goofy... and currently as a commentator he does little to sell me on the action. His in ring work was never terrible, but I didn't find it all that great either. Whenever he was on a card, I would always just hope for his match to finish quickly so someone more interesting could come out."

[7.0] "A good commentator, has good mic skills, but lacks in the in-ring department. However, he does his best in-ring work in tag team competition. He also played a good mouth piece when he was paired with Rusev."

[7.0] "He should have been given a push after Simon Gotch left. A singles push instead of wasting him away in a tag team with Rusev."

[7.0] "Aiden has never really been a good singles guy but where he really shines is in tag teams. He is a solid in ring worker with an amazing voice which is probably why the gave him commentary duties."

[6.0] "He? s pretty fun. I thought he was going to flounder after Gotch left but luckily that hasn? t been the case thanks to his work with Rusev."

[10.0] "This guy is pure gold. He's got the look, the skills, and basically everything it takes to be a star.. Such a shame how underrated he is."

[7.0] "Well, a good wrestler overally. WWE saw something on him back in 2012 and that random development addition to FCW is paying off right now on the WWE main roster, as English is (was, because they deserve something more at this point) having a really good time with Rusev. Extremely over, he has a nice voice and he celebrates Rusev Day. What else? Let's hope that they give him a little chance to remain in the mid card without jobbing too much."

[6.0] "Solid in the ring and was good as part of the Vaudevillains but I am really loving him being a mouth piece for Rusev currently, more of English & Rusev please."

[8.0] "Ich finde ihn einfach klasse. Schon damals, als er mit Simon Gotch das Tag Team "Vaudevilians" bildete, fand ich ihn sehr gut. Umso mehr war ich enttäuscht, als sie das Team unter ihrem Wert verkauften und es getrennt wurde, weil ich dachte, dass Aiden English in die Versenkung landen würde. Sein Gesangsgimmick war schon immer ein Klassiker und an der Seite von Rusev finde ich ihn noch besser als mit Simon Gotch."

[10.0] "Aiden English has great selling. He is awesome in the ring. He is amazing in the mic. Rusev and Aidens Rusev Day gimmick is over in the crowd. They are one of the most underrated talents right now in Smackdown Live Or even the whole WWE. Aiden English is so amazing."

[8.0] "I don? t understand how people praise Dolph Ziggler as being one of the most underrated Superstars when Aiden English is for the most part, better than him. Now I? m not saying Dolph is bad, quite the opposite, he is good, but Aiden English is just phenomenal at selling and he is great with working the crowd on the mic, one of the best talkers right now imo. His ring work isn? t the greatest, but it? s still very solid. Hopefully, WWE will pull the trigger on English and put him a Y2J-esque position, going and dominating the US title scene. 8/10"

[6.0] "It's almost like Gotch's departure was a godsend for English. He's been able to garner regular TV time with his natural acting range, melodious pipes and extremely fluid chemistry with Rusev. In the ring, English is solid. He's got a clean offense, he's a good bumper, and he can make a match flow well, especially in tag situations. It remains to be seen if he can get over (as Rusev maybe 97% of why Rusev Day is over) but for a guy who was a fringe jobber after his partner left -- he's clearly riding a wave of momentum."

[10.0] "Aiden English by far is one of the most underrated talents in the WWE today. He should get the push he deserved since The Vaudevillains split up, his "Rusev Day" gimmick is getting boring now, He should be US Champ. He's so much better than just a manager for Rusev. Great in Mic, good in ring, but WWE ruined his talent."

[8.0] "Aiden English was the more enjoyable member of the Vaudevillains that had not been given a proper chance on the main roster. That is now different since the release of Simon Gotch, as English as now went back to a gimmick similar to his gimmick in 2013 and 2014 as a singles wrestler. He is also very solid in the ring and has the charisma to make himself a top mid-card heel. Hopefully his storyline with Rusev will lead to that."

[6.0] "I think if English broke away from Simon Gotch, he would be an awesome mid-carder for the next number of years. His gimmick prior to teaming with Gotch, was a snobby Broadway star and it fit him perfectly. He's got the charisma and seems to have the ring skills. Sure English is a bit skinny, but who cares about that really"

[7.0] "He's solid on the mic and in the ring, and had a great character in NXT that has sadly lost its touch with the main roster."

[7.0] "Aiden is solid both in-ring and on mic, and portrays a great heel. But unfortunatelly, i don't see him go anywhere in WWE. Neither him or Simon will ever really get over with either Vince or crowd."

[7.0] "I'm not a big fan of the Vaudevillians but English carries the team in my opinion. English is much better in the ring and on the mic than Gotch."

[6.0] "The Vaudevillains gimmick saved Aiden English, though we'll see if it has any lasting power on the main roster. Either way, though, English is a competent technical wrestler whose understated humor and promo skills keep him entertaining. It's impressive how far he's come, considering that he hasn't been long in the business. I tend to prefer Gotch as a worker, but English is a solid hand, and there's really nothing to complain about in terms of his performance."

[7.0] "He is pretty impressive since he has barely had any wrestling experience before WWE and in my opinion he is the stronger of the Vaudevillians. He can pull of a beautiful swanton bomb. He is a good technician and is probably the best wrestler on the mic today. Overall I think he is a great tag team wrestler who has a good future on the main roster."

[10.0] "Very Underrated... He has Charisma and good in ring skills so I hope WWE doesn't turn him into a jobber..."

[9.0] "I'm very high on Aiden English as a singles performer, I do appreciate his tag team work but I would love it if they would let him sing if he were to ever take a shot at the main roster. Please, let this man sing his way up the card, he has the voice of an angel. :)"

[6.0] "Good charisma and mic skills, satisfactory in the ring. He is a nice tag team wrestler, but I think that he wil not take many."

[5.0] "Sorta of an awkward wrestler. Promos and Character are a great fit for him, but his sentons are a bit creepy. Not a huge fan but he is an alright NXT superstar."

[6.0] "Aiden English has found something in The Vaudevillians. It was obvious from the start that he was not going to work out as a singles guy. His gimmick, an actor, was plain dumb, and there is really nothing impressive about his physique or movies. However, he does have serious charisma. He's great on the mic. Also, his work with Simon Gotch is very impressive. They counter one another very well, and the gimmick is fun and one that works. Since I am rating him as a singles wrestler, 6/10 feels fair. However, I think in terms of tag team action, English grades out much higher."

[5.0] "He plays his role well, he is not a bad singer though i think the songs they gave him were very simplistic but straight to the point, he has the right looks for what he does and i think since he's been a part of the vandevallians that his character has been a bit outshined but it's all fine and dandy since every character needs a bit of a repackaging every now and then, in the ring he's been an ok guy to watch 5/10."

[5.0] "Interesting character, but doesn't leave much of an impression in the ring. Hopefully, he'll get a chance to prove he can wrestle as well as he sings."

[5.0] "Great gimmick, kudos to him for making it work so well. Good look also and seems ok in the ring. My rating should go up in the next months."

[8.0] "Total package, I can't wait for this guy to make it up to the main roster. There's so many different things you can do with him, he would mesh well with Damien Sandow or Fandango as well. The only thing that drives me crazy is his name, the first name Aiden isn't old school enough for him they should have used a name such as Arthur, Clive or Montgomery. Love the unique gimmick and think he is extremely gifted on the microphone."

[9.0] "I've always liked Aiden English since he made his FCW TV debut last year and cut his only promo he cut there at that point. I always thought that he was a good worker in the ring too when given the proper chance to show what he can do. But now that he's a heel and he's changed his gimmick to being nicknamed, "The Artiste" and he's getting more NXT TV time to cut great promos and wrestle in the ring, he's winning me over more and more now because he has a gimmick unlike anything we've seen before in wrestling and because of how well he acts out his persona, it's obvious that this gimmick is tailor made for him! I love everything about Aiden English and his current gimmick from his gear, to singing on the way down to the ring, to his work in the ring, to his encore singing whenever he wins his matches! The whole 9 yards!"
