[7.0] "This was a pretty good match. Despite both men being important to the early years of ROH, they never worked any sort of singles match there. They only ever worked 2 singles matches together and they were both on the independent and despite the fact that both men were more experienced when they met up in 2004, I thought this was the better of the two. This started out very technical, which was unexpected but well done. One sequence I liked was when CM Punk countered a rana from Low Ki, lifted him in a powerbomb position, hoisted him on his back and put him in the Gory Special. That being said, we did get a botch where Punk went for a springboard move and missed the top rope, which is only the second time I've seen him do that. For the finish, Punk went for the Pepsi Plunge, only for Low Ki to counter with what I would best describe as Northern Lights release suplex. He then hit Tidal Crush and the Phoenix Splash to win the match. ***1/2"
