2 Cold Scorpio vs. Davey Richards

[8.0] "Maybe I'm overrating this, but I thought this was a borderline great match. In 2009, Davey Richards was on fire, having incredible matches with guys like Kenta, Bryan Danielson, and Austin Aries. Going into this, I didn't know what to expect out of 2 Cold Scorpio. He was 43 years old, so I wasn't expecting him to do some of the things he was known for doing in the 90's. Suffice to say, I was wrong, because Scorpio was almost as athletic as he was back in the day. Davey definitely took the fight to Scorpio, not just with strikes and kicks, but some nice submissions. Scorpio was able to get out of those holds and apply some submissions of his own. I was surprised that despite his age, Scorpio busted out a 450 Splash for the win. This was a gem, and I'm happy I watched it. ****"
