Galeno Del Mal vs. Jeff Cobb

[8.0] "We knew what to expect from these two (huge) lads, and they surpassed the expectations. Just two big men going all out, and the fans going completely crazy about what they were doing. The commentary said it, but it is very rare that Cobb is facing a man larger than him, but that surely created a good challenge of him. He didn't underestimate Galeno, who surely brought some fans to become a fan of him. He's just 22, and even if wrestling runs through his veins and his heritage, Galeno is a pretty good wrestler. Cobb and Galeno are pretty agile for men of their size, but they surely had a better pleasure to throw the most brutal strikes and clotheslines, and also the biggest throws and suplexes they had in store. Both lads sold well for each other, and that was a cool detail. They sold well the exhaustion towards the end of the bout, and the nearfalls created that good sense of suspense. The finish was pretty cool, yeah. Superb fight between two big men, and what a showcase that was for Galeno."

[8.0] "(Grade:B/****) This was a pleasant surprise! I've seen Galeno Del Mal in a tag team match in NOAH and I was shocked by his size and Lucha Libre style. Jeff Cobb & Galeno were trying to knock one another down and the crowd was 100% behind this with the obvious "MEAT" chants. Galeno hit offense with no regard for his size and stature and Cobb as well picking Del Mal off his feet for a German suplex and hit a standing moonsault!"

[8.0] "It's very rare for someone to be able to match Jeff Cobb in both size and agility, but Galeno del Mal is right there with him. It starts as a conventional hoss match before both guys start using their bigger moves. Cobb being able to hit the Tour of the Islands on GdM is an incredible sight."

[7.0] "This was a really good meaty men match that will never go out of style. When you get two guys this size that can both go and have good chemistry and motivation it is the easiest formula to satisfy just about every pro wrestling fan. This started with a conventional feeling out period where both guys were able to show their solid ground games and get the crowd to pick their guy to cheer for. Once the pace quickened this went to the next level, big moves delivered so cleanly that I can't not be impressed. Galeno Del Mal makes even a simple move like the body splash look perfect, along with his Demon Slayer suplex. The selling made it feel like the exhaustion was making both guys want to take the other out with a big move to end the match. Check this out for sure. ***3/4"
