[6.0] "HAYATA sucks but Connors got a pretty good match out of him here. Connors's aggression set the tone for the match and he drug HAYATA into a style you'd never see from him otherwise. ***1/4"
[6.0] "Not bad, but not especially memorable either. Much better showing for Connors than his night 1 match, which just goes to show it was probably Blake Christian responsible for the botches rather than him. It was pretty amusing how Connors grabbed a Young Lion from the crowd and slammed him on top of Hayata, and he did it not once but TWICE in the same match..."
[5.0] "I wasn't expecting much from this match and guess what It didn't give me much. The weakest match on the card so far and it was because it was a slow brawl that didn't really amount to anything noteworthy to be honest. One of those Stop and Start type matches where they started cooking when it was too late. 5/10"
[6.0] "This is a real brawl from the get, Connors plays to his strengths and HAYATA does a pretty decent job of selling. HAYATA is not my favourite worker by any means, but he is not the worst addition to this tournament and shows up Christian here by showing Connors was not at fault for that horrendous night 1 bout. The two men trade control here as they fight outside the ring, before returning for a very exciting closing stretch. This was entertaining and tense and shaped up to be the MOTN so far. A slightly long slower brawling stretch took away a bit, but the second half of the matchup was genuinely very fun, worth a watch."
[4.0] "Boring match, the winner has never been in discussion and it was just the opposite of the two matches earlier in this show which were fast paced and excting, this one was slow and it only started picking up toward the end. First underwhelming match on the card. **1/4"
[5.0] "For a match between two heels this was ok. It lacked ant real excitement but the work was fine especially towards the finish when they mostly stuck to working in the ring and not brawling on the outside."
[5.0] "You know what? This wasn't bad. On paper, this had the potential to be a real dud, but they played with "two heels" dynamic well, and Clark eventually sank into the crowd-favorite role. Him picking up a win was a bit surprising as I thought they'd be protecting HAYATA throughout the tournament, but it was a welcome surprise. Speaking of the latter he was better than usual, much more of an effort than I normally see from the GHC national champ. 2.75 Stars."
[6.0] "Two heels here but, except for some outside the ring shenanigans, it was worked pretty straight. I thought Connors looked good, particularly in the closing sequence ***"
[5.0] "2.75 - this was quite meh. It started slower compared to the rest of the matches and never really kicked into a second or third gear, it was just OK"
