[8.0] "I don't know why this was rated so low, I actually enjoyed it. Briscoe, Cope and Eddie had zero chemistry, like, zero. But it's fun to see this guys wrestling, nothing disappoints."

[6.0] "[3.0*] Good match that I think had the same level as the Main Event. I think this one is underrated and the other one is overrated. The work from the spot monkeys was stellar, even Andretti did great on this one. I loved the dynamic of the babyface team, and they all seemed to have a lot of fun. The triple finishers on Andretti at the ending was such a cool combo and feel good spot."

[7.0] "This was a really fun opening trios match. The trios division has low-key been cooking the last little bit. Top Flight and Action Andretti are a great trio, and should be positioned as a top trio for sure. Adam Copeland was very giving to the to the young lads in this match. Mark Briscoe was on fire. Eddie wasn't messing around. This got me looking forward to the big trios match at Dynasty so it did its job."

[6.0] "[3.5*] What a cool match, it was a lot of fun and Top Flight did a very solid and decent job leaving their opponents over before AEW Dynasty. The dynamics of the match were very interesting, they knew how to play a very interesting round-trip match. The end was great with Copeland, Eddie and Briscoe doing their finishers to win here."

[6.0] "Fun enough, but nothing of any major interest. The team of grizzled vets are super over so they get great crowd reactions for everything that they do, but the action is nothing special, and it's really hard to get invested in Top Flight/Action Andretti at the moment. Everything was well-performed but nothing was memorable or stood out."

[7.0] "The action was good given its place on the card and purpose (for the Copeland/Kingston/Briscoe team to get a win before the PPV). Top Flight & Andretti were impressive with their spots and impeccable timing. My only issue is with the booking: Because Copeland/Briscoe/Kingston were so over and beloved by this crowd, the crowd really didn't want to get behind Top Flight during their babyface comebacks. Top Flight excel at flashy babyface comebacks, but by putting them in the ring with three guys who are far more over with the crowd than they are, it makes it difficult for the crowd to get fully invested in them and negates one of the things they're good at."

[5.0] "There are certain things which seems to have been grandfathered into pro wrestling which need to be seriously addressed and re-evaluated. One of them is the whole thing with a downed wrestler shuffling on the mat to get into position so that the guy who climbed up without looking at or positioning his opponent can reach him with an aeriel move. It completely sucks, even more so when it's the finish to a match. Cameras need to stay off of that stuff (and they did Andretti no favours here) but wouldn't it just be better if wrestlers didn't act like their resisting opponents are going to be in the right place at the right time and that they can just climb up any turnbuckle and their opponents will come to them? This was a mostly fine match outside of that ending but the standard being so low on that kind of thing and never addressed is something which frustrates me. It doesn't matter if everyone does it and has done it for years. Long-time fans have been conditioned to overlook that stuff. It still looks like shit and made the end of this match look especially over-cooperative, undoing everything the rest of the match worked towards."

[7.0] "Incredibly solid six-man. We already knew Eddie and Mark had chemistry, and Cope slots into the trios team effortlessly as if he's always been plying the indies. Against an incredibly skilled Top Flight Action, who I could see being perennial contenders for the tag titles in the next few years, and you can't go wrong."

[7.0] "Really fun TV opener right here, who was right where he belonged and gave us some good action right from the start, delighting both the spectators and the crowd, so from that point on we can say it was a successful opening match. Everything was well executed, everyone got to shine and it was perfect to give momentum to Copeland, Briscoe & Kingston against excellent wrestlers before Dynasty. The J-Driller/Uraken/Spear/Froggy-Bow combo at the end was gorgeous."
