[6.0] "Just a bog standard match here. As is par for the show this didn't have much juice at all and the work was all fine but unspectacular. Glad the titles are off Suwama and Suzuki who clearly had little to no motivation to have any sort of work rate aspect to their matches. ***"
[7.0] "This was also pretty sloppy but I thought that worked in its favor oddly enough. The Saitos have really turned the negative of having two left feet (at least when it comes to pro wrestling, its weird how legit athletes often look clumsy in pro wrestling) into a positive with just beating people up and looking like two bulls in a China shop. Id go ***1/2. This got me pumped for the upcoming carnival even more than the rumble did."
[6.0] "Quite good. I really enjoy the Saito Brothers, even if they're not the most skilled wrestlers. They just look and feel the part and they fit right in alongside big veteran bruisers like Suwama and Hideki Suzuki."
[5.0] "[3.0*] I liked how Suzuki and Suwama punished Rei Saito's arms with some armbars, Suzuki stepped on his arms very hard. Overall the match was average and the ending was a bit disconcerting and not exciting, there were some good moments but nothing spectacular."
[6.0] "Another nice little match that served its purpose - Saito Brothers won their titles back without VDM's help, so TARU decided that it's time for VDM to move on from AJPW. It was good to see that Saito's charm didn't went away, there's still nobody quite like them in today's pro-wrestling world."
[5.0] "Gentleman's three. This match was technically a perfectly acceptable match that you would expect from two big bruisers versus two older, traditional grapplers, but the booking is a mess. The Saitos are too popular to be true heels (and teh post match shows that they knew that), but there was still outside interference to start the match. Suwama and Suzuki did their best to get heat on Rei, but the crowd just wasn't biting. Suwama and Hideki are generally presented as your love-able but grumpy uncles, so the crowd simply wasn't angered by limb work. The finish just sort of...happened. The right team won, and the post match moves the Saitos in a better direction. Just a weird, flat match, but not one that hurt anyone going forward."
