[0.0] "This is, without a doubt, my least favorite match in pro wrestling history. If you told me this match was actually twice as long as the runtime listed, I would believe you. I bought all 3 DVD's of this tournament the second they went on sale 15 years ago. It was maybe the most hyped I'd been for a professional wrestling tournament in, I don't know, ever? This match is so bad, to this day - over a decade and a half later - I still have not watched Night 2. I still have not watched Night 3. The only other match I've seen after Night 1 is that legendary 4-way. If for some reason, you are ever looking back at King of Trios 2009, I implore you to skip this one. It is a true vibe-ruiner. A slog. Slop. The worst stuff you will ever see. The DUD of all Duds. Minus 5 stars. Whatever you wanna call it. IT'S BAD."

[4.0] "Unfortunately the weakest match of the opening round. It went too long. DLo Brown was a fine replacement for Iceberg who had to pull out and the names out of a hat to get to him with Bryce was fun. He may have looked the best on his trio although Glacier wasnt bad. Half of the time roughly and the match would have likely been better."
