[7.0] "A good match with good spots. A ring of WWE's most talented women going against each other. What makes this match a 7/10 though is the reunion of Asuka with Kairi, the Kabuki warriors are together once again. This match also started the women's war games storyline which ended up being great."
[4.0] "This was a pretty good match in the first stretch , but in the last half it was really sloppy , I don't know why Kairi is working like this , she was putting on great matches in njpw and in the indies. Kairi is really talented , but in this match it felt like she was working in slow motion. Asuka turning made sense , and it was nice to see the Kabuki warriors reunite. There is a problem with that , the match was heavily impacted with all the random stuff going on , Also I don't know why the ref didn't immediately call for the dq . I don't like too much overbooking , and this match was a bad case of that. I will give credit to the first half , if was pretty good."
[6.0] "Short match used as plot device for Asuka's 100th turn of this year to join Damage CTRL, which I have mixed feelings about. One one hand, I absolutely love having Kairi, Io and Asuka on the same side, Damage CTRL is the most interesting it has been since it was born, with an undercover battle for power between Io and Bayley, Dakota trying to get along with both of them, although she would surely choose the one who has more support, Io. But on the other hand, Asuka joining Damage CTRL after what they all have been through since last year I feel it's really awkward. For what it was, the match was alright, I didn't see that sloppiness some of you guys are remarking, I think the match had a nice pace, it just wasn't a match to work that hard (***)"
[3.0] "This Match Was Extremely Awkward And Sloppy At Parts. Especially When Charlotte And Kairi Were In The Ring Together. Dissapointing That This Was Kairis First Match Back. At Least The Asuka Heel Turn At The End Was Interesting And I Cant Wait To See Where Things Go From Here."
[6.0] "I was looking forward so much to Kairi Sane's comeback and to see how her return will affect Damage CTRL. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The promo was okay, but the match itself was shorter than I expected, and from in ring-quality perspective pretty much disappointed. Asuka's turn was a nice touch, but was it a turn? Up until now, I can't say if she was a heel or a face..."
[3.0] "Post match angle was cool I guess, but the match was extremely weak and sloppy (Charlotte stairs spot). Kairi really did not get to do much and its a shame because its her first match. Also as a main event it really should have been better especially with the lineup they had."
[5.0] "well, when you look at the participants in this match, you kinda feel like that it wasn't good at all! all six of them are very good wrestlers by themselves, but logically, it was just a build up for the War Games at the Survivor Series, so we couldn't expect much more than this. but at least they could've done a few more entertaining spots to improve its boredom. (**1/2)"
[3.0] "Kairi Sane's first match back in WWE and so I was obviously looking forward to this. Personally I would have just booked her to beat some midcarder in a singles match or something. Instead we got a all star main event 6 woman tag match. Well, a bit of one anyways. While the post match angle was cool and sets Wargames up nicely this match was a disappointment. It was thrown out for little to no reason and the minutes we did get weren't particularly rememberable and some parts were messy or sloppy. Kairi hardly even featured and Charlotte, selfishly, decided to sandbag the steps spot with her! Bad crowd again too; all they wanted to do was shout 'what' all night... Bayley was right; what a bunch of idiots!"
[6.0] "This was more an Angle than a match, the wrestling was fine but there were sometimes that didn't go as smoth as someone would expect (especially from Charlotte this week), the angle that followed was really cool tho, this was a really cool way to build to Women's WarGames"
[4.0] "Not much of a match, this main event was used for a big angle. Kairi joined Damage CTRL earlier in the show, only to be challenged by Asuka, Bianca and Charlotte. The match itself was a perfectly fine back and forth, nothing special. As Bianca tries to go for a tag, Asuka instead pulls back her hand then mists her. Asuka joins Damage CTRL as they all celebrate in the ring together. The match ends in a no contest when they all attack Bianca and Charlotte. This was all about advancing the Damage CTRL storyline and building to WarGames. 4/10"
[4.0] "Listen, my 4/10 rating is purely for the match itself and not the story that happened here. The match itself was very whatever and I really wasn't a fan of the No Contest finish. However, what is actually really cool is how absolutely stacked Damage CTRL now is. That said, as much as I like Bayley and Dakota Kai, I would really love for SKY, Sane, and Asuka to end up being their own trio. Either way, I'm really looking forward to the Women's WarGames Match this year with this team."
[4.0] "The girls closed the show. And, if we take the match directly, then it was a bad main event. If we take it as an important plot event, then, of course, everything here is done at an excellent level. But specifically now I evaluate what is happening in the ring, and it was mediocre. Severely compressed timing and a complete lack of a clear structure. No one showed up in the ring and they didnt bring us any normal wrestling. These are the kinds of sacrifices that sometimes have to be made in order to build stories. Although the composition of the participants could have been more than suitable."
[4.0] "This was a nothing of a match : very short if you count out the add break, an initial ultra-domination of Bianca and Charlotte (because ...), a comeback of the heels thanks to constant ouside interference and a no-contest finish on the top of all this. I guess it works as an angle to have Asuka join Kairi, Iyo and Bayley and launch a storyline towards the Wargames. But as a match, it was clearly un-interresting and another case of making your champion (and her new stable) look quite weak. 4/10."
[4.0] "A nothing burger of a main event that really only served to set up an angle with Asuka and likely lead us towards a Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series. Kairi, in her first match since her return, looked good and came across as a very cool addition to the division, so at least there was that."
[5.0] "Kairi Sane's first WWE match in over three years was a front to a bigger story, with Asuka turning on Bianca Belair to lead to the match getting thrown out. Damage CTRL has grown by one member at least (Asuka isn't a member right now), but I get the sense this is the Japanese reuniting for their long-planned revenge on Bayley. If the turn goes down at WarGames, it'll be memorable."
